its so frustrating! I get that all the time.. the other day some of my friends wanted to get some mcdonalds, (and personally I was completely turned off that stuff after watching supersize me, and I vowed that I would never eat it again!) so when they pulled through the drive through I just said no I'll get some else later. And then all my friends starting nagging me, complaining that I should stop worrying about calories and fat and all of that stuff, and I tried telling them I just don't like fast food, but clearly that wasn't a good enough reason. It just bugs me sometimes.. just because I like to eat healthy and my friends don't, doesn't mean I am judging them or criticizing them for eating it, it's just a choice I make for myself, because it makes me feel good. |

soo I have gained 5 pounds which is goood.. but I am going on a road trip for a week on saturday and I am a little nervous.. Its with my boyfriend and his friends, its the first trip I am going on where I will be away from my family, my own food and my house. The only thing I am worried about is being active.. I never go more than 3 days without some kind of physical activity..soo it makes me a little scared to go. I know I'll be fine and I'll have fun, its just something I have never done before. |

| come on guys we all know better; lets post healthy meals and promote healthy lifestyles. If you feel 1200 calories is enough, its not.. UNLESS you are laying in bed doing nothing but breathing all day. Those who have suffered from an ED know the pain and effects from a diet lacking in nutrients (me included). Its not worth it, we can only say this so many times. Everyone is right its getting old, bone thin is not beauty.

| I have been a runner for over 2years now (long distance, usually 9-10km a run), and my legs are not massive. They are however defined, and toned, I do weight lift on the off days to maintain, and I eat 1800cals a day 2000 on running days. :) hope that helps | |||

| humm I would have to say grade 11, I was never a 'fat' kid.. I was never overweight, I was always active, ate fairly decent. In grade 11 my friend and I decided to become a veg and therefore cut out meat, she stopped but I kept going with it and it eventually lead to an obession. Once people starting noticing the amount of weight I lost they became concerned and I didnt want to go back to the weight I was before (5'6 130lbs). I was finally the skinny, tiny girl.. why would I want to change that. There was also a few other things that triggered this urge to be thin, I was told I had "cankles" once (you know no ankles). And I also wanted to impress a guy, and my motivation was "be skinnier than his girlfriend and he will like you more" I got so skinny, and he was mine eventually.. but soon left me for his girlfriend. Again lead to another weight loss problem. Not cool.. I hate calories, we should be concerned with eating healthy and working out on a daily basis. | |||

| Agruskin: goji berries are amazing.. they look similar to dried cranberries but smaller. They are very nutrient-dense, you can also have goji berry juice, but I prefer them as a berry :)

| Soo this weekend I went to buffalo with the boyfriend and his family for a big july 4th celebration.. there was so much food, it was kinda insane. At first I was so nervous because usually i restrict all day to make room for what I'm going to eat at dinner, but this weekend I didnt calorie count at all so I had no idea what I was at or anything. I logged everything when I got home and I hit around 2500 to 2700 cals. I estimated because I wasnt sure of the serving sizes or what they made the food with. But I didn't die, and it was alot of fun.. alot of the calories were from drinks ;) I'm not sure if that is a good or a bad thing.. but for once I wasnt stressing over every little thing:) and hey we all need to let loose once in a while | |||
