Well, I've started jogging with my dad, and this summer I'm planning on doing pilates,...will that help the cellulite go away?

 

My binging is actually better, it's my fourth day dieting, and normally, the third day was when I had my binge attack. So, I guess I'm surviving...

I'm 5'1, looking to lose about 10 pounds or so!

I've been fighting with 15 extra pounds since I went to a summer program in the USA's...and in five months I've managed to lose 5,....(binging problems D:)

 

I decided to seriously start 3 days ago, and so far it's going great. The third day was always when I started binging xD,...so,.

 

I'll weigh in on Saturdays,..do we post here?

I'm 17 years old, 5´1 and a few pounds over my weight, and until a few weeks ago, the same thing happened to me.

I would eat supoer healthy over the week, but every sunday I'd eat as much as 4000 calories. not healthy. at all ):

maybe its cause i felt deprived or something, since I was put on not eating any carbs at all, so I'd go crazy on the weekend.

but a few weeks ago I said, ok, enough is enough, and i put my mind to it, planning my meals ahead of time to make sure I didnt binge. and today, i gave myself a treat and ate some pizza. normally, i would have binged like crazy after the pizza, but i managed to stay within my cal limits, and I was so proud of myself :)

Not sure how I did it, but I think it has to do with your mind and controlling yourself, believing that you can do it :)

So if I need 1800 to maintain, I burn about 150-200 cals a day and I eat about 1350 to 1400...and once a week I eat about 2000-2500, then I'll still keep losing?

cause my mom cooks super good :)

I LOVE breakfast!
Even though you think its not really anything special, it is, it helps your body start working again, think that after sleeping, you haven't eaten for about 7 to 8 hours!
And about not being hungry, I did such a terrible diet, that I honestly believe my stomach shrank to flea proportions, I mean, I'm NEVER hungry xD I just eat because I have to. Otherwise, I can go for a whole day without feeling a thing -.-

People just need to frop this issue, its gotten way out of hand.
Personally, I believe that not everyone has a binge eating disorder, but ANYONE can binge.

I'm 16 years old and I came to CC because my binge eating ways were making me gain weight, and fast. My jeans stopped fitting me and I binged ate several times a day....then it all backfired and I STOPPED eating xD thanks to my parents though, I didn't become anorexic.

Now I'm at a healthy weight and maintaining, I use this site to look for recipes and stuff.

I'm 16, and although I've never been obese, I do count calories.
If you wanna count calories, use a teen calculator please, the one here is not made for young people.
I used to use this one, and it said I need 1800 cals to maintain;....I lost so much wieght, people thought I was sick. When I used a teen calculator, I found out I needed at least 2100 cals a day xP

No really, eat avocados. 320 cals per unit and its packed with healthy fats, minerals and vitamins.. :D

I used to have the same problem knowing my activity level, so now I just calculate the cals I need when I'm sedentary and add the cals I burn with exercise.

Like, I need 1800 cals in sedentary mode, and when I do 30 minutes in the elliptical, I burn around 240 cals. So that day I eat around 2040 cals.

I eat about 1900-2200 cals a day depending how much exercise I do.

Oh, and daisyg, I wouldn't recommed that "I know I should eat more when I run but I dont" attitude. One of my friends dad was a marathonist, and he didn't really eat back what he burned.

One day he had a headache and the next second he was dead. yeah.

I lost a lot of weight and almost became anorexic(don't worry, thanks to my family I'm on my ideal weight now^^) with what my family calls the 5 star diet, but I just can't tell my dad to count the cals everyday, cause my mom/maid/dad just don't have time for that xD

So,..he asked me to make him kind of they have an idea of what he has to eat everyday. He's a little overwieght and wants to loss a few pounds.

Sorry for the double post D:

600-800 cals are WAY WAY down, when I was losing weight I ate 1200 cals a day and THAT made my family freak when they saw I was losing too fast and calculated my calories. If you ate more you would probably get your calcium intake.

Also, where in South America do you live? I live in Chile and we practically drown in milk =D

Sorry I'm not so much help, but how can there be no milk?

I drink fat free milk and fat, sugar free yoghurt, and it gives me all the calcium I need. One cup of milk has 30% of calcium, I drink three a day, plus the yoghurt which has around 15%, and I eat around two a day.

Anyway, just try and eat the foods they recommended here and you'll be fine =D

About a week ago, I went with my dad to work and had to eat lunch with him and his coworkers. One of the guys was quite heavy, and he ate a huge steak, with millions of french fries, then a giant piece of chocolate cake, then a cheese sandwich and lastly a "no sugar" soda, cause he was on a diet! xDD People like that just crack me up.

Thanks so much for your help guys,.. talked with my mom, I decided to stop coming here for some time and I stopped counting calories.
I'm now at a healthy weight, I don't look like a living stick and I actually enjoy food,-without overeating like I used to =D.
I have an anxiety disorder, so the same compulsive-obsessive thinkin that made me overeat and gain so much weight made me start starving myself, but thanks to my mom and all of you I'm better now^^

Kaufmal, you should really talk with your mom instead of fighting with her, she's just trying to help =D

That happened to me too!
I reached my maintain weight but was afraid to get fat again, so I kept on eating 1200 cals! Finally my mom (bless her) stepped in and after a few(many) fights and tears, she started introducing foods, other then veggies and tuna, into my diet.
At first I didn't enjoy food, I would pout if she made me eat bread, but today, my b-day, I finally ate a piece of cake and actually ENJOYEd it! And I haven't gained a pound.
I eat everything I used to eat,.pizza, cake, spaghetti, just smaller portions.

I'd go for handing out granola bars, 100 calorie snacks and chweing gum,..I think its a great idea you want it to be healthy, but if you hand out fruits and veggie,..wel,..some parents don't let their kids eat the fruit(I remember mine said strangers put drugs in them with a syringe O-o) and veggies will only be welcomed by s small smaaal portion of the kid population =D
