Well I am finally back to it and I realized that I need to be reporting my miles on here so I can keep track of the miles on my shoes!  I've been running the last few weeks at 3 miles a day 3/4 days a week so you can add 33 miles for me but only 3 for this week.  However you want to do that.

 

I had to stop running for almost 2 months because of knee problems but I finally got orthotics and I'm taking it slow as I build my mileage up again.  It feels soooo good!

I'm back baby!  I took a few weeks off with shin splints and yesterday I went out for my first run in almost three weeks for 3.5 miles and I FEEL GREAT!

A  little late on reporting for me but I need to add another 10 miles to my log.  These new 5 mile distance runs are really making me feel great!

I am a big fan of lots of reps at light weight.  It doesn't build a lot of muscle but it does wonders for your muscle tone.  I do 30 reps and 2-3 sets depending on how I'm feeling, and I do them pretty quickly so my muscles are working but not being maxed out.  It mostly depends on what your goals are with lifting

Add 8 miles for me.  I had my first 5 mile run and it was great!  I am sore today but having a new distance is exciting, and now once I adjust to the distance I can start training to improve my speed.

Finally!  3 miles for me yesterday, first day running in three weeks!  After 2 weeks of being sick and a week of ice/snow I finally got a dry day above freezing when I was feeling well.  Lost a mile off my distance but dang did it feel great!

I get real fidgety whenever i haven't worked out when I know I should, why not start working out again and increase your calorie intake to offset what you are burning?  see if that helps with the restless feeling

I only eat fish and seafood, but my friends still tease me for not eating meat.  It's all in good fun, I tease them about slaughter houses and other gross meat stuff.  When you don't eat the same as everybody else, you have to take responsibility for your own food, it sucks but thats the way it is

Went for the first run in a while, knees feeling better, no pain.  Just a little 3 mile jaunt on the treadmile but WOW disd it feel good.  Hopefully i'll get off work early enoguh to go out for a run in the outdoors sometime this week.
