| i know this is terrible but when my friend and i have a girls night out, we drink from 4 pm to midnight :/ we start off with crystal light and vodka and go to the burrito place and get just the belly with no tortilla to make it healthier...then we go elsewhere to get real drinks and it goes downhill from there. all of a sudden, we are eating subway footlongs, fries, and whatever else we can get out hands on. ...and to be honest, iv been doing terrible anyways lately so i feel as though 'hey, might as well keep on going!'. man...i need to get on the ball (and drink less!) |

Give your friends a break." well its cool that people are happy that they have lost weight and talk about it. however, theres a difference of telling someone because you are proud....and telling someone as though its all a competition. when i do something with my appearance...this girl does something the next day because she cant stand the compliments people give me. i just think its funny and stupid. i am proud of her that shes losing weight but sometimes its a bit too much. i can admit that maybe im jelouse lol....but shes a much higher weight than me and it usually comes off faster for those who have alot to lose. i just need to lose 10 (but id be happier at 20..ill see as time goes by). i dont wanna seem like im being a bitch. its like when i tried to be a vegetarian for 6 months. at first, i went on and on about what people ate or "oh, i cant eat that..it has meat in it" and i can sense the uncomfortablness in people like..."oh man, she needs to shut up..so i can enjoy my meal". after a while, i kinda just stopped talking about it. anyways, sometimes i just wanna enjoy something without her being like "you know juice is bad for you right? it like..has so many calories". or...ill eat something because i put it within my calorie range but i get the "you are eating THAT? im eating lettuce". |

| ha yeah, im never there long enough either. i just wanna be in and out :/ my cats like to come up to me though as well. one will go in the litter box at the same time....or try to get inside my pants that are wrapped around my ankles. |

| i have a picture of a guy with his throat cut out from smoking...so id quit. i put it up 4 months before i really did stop lol. so, i have nothing on my fridge except that and takeout magnents from pizza places =/ what keeps me motivated is my journal i guess. |

| half sleeve tattoo or chest tattoo go on a trip to hawaii or aruba (or anywhere but the surrounding states by me lol) do improv in front of a large audience and make everyone laugh. id love to go on SNL....but, i dont think thats gonna happen. go to a zen center and medidate. *learn buddhism and actually apply it to my life. make crafts and have them actually not look like a 4 year old did it hahah. oh yeah, lose 20 pounds. |

| in 3 weeks, im supposed to weigh in for the final biggest loser challange at work. it started in feb and i was hoping to be in the 130s by now but i really slacked =/ also, i was supposed to be 120 by LAST septemeber but heres to round 2 lol. i find myself really getting into the flow of things. im armed with a calorie notebook, calorie book, etc. now....i just need to get going to the gym more often. ill be really embarrased if i was the only winner at this thing by just losing a few pounds heh. |

| i read it and started eating a veg. diet. it did help me eat more fruit, veggies, and other good stuff but....i didnt lose. i think i actually gained. i started eating meat again (mainly poultry and fish) and im losing.... |

| im gonna update this and say that i havnt smoked for almost a month now which is the longest iv ever done when i tried quitting before. chantix def helped me. however, i felt i was getting way too emotional and depressed on it. also, i was getting very short tempered. it could be because i delt with stress with cigs...but this time around...i had to deal with stuff in other ways and i honestly didnt like how i was feeling on the inside. with all that said...id still recommend it. i took myself off of it....just cuz i wanted to see if i could fly without it and see how i deal with stress by myself. good luck with anyone whos trying to quit. i never thought i could but im happy i did so far. iv gotten through waking up, driving, going out to drink, breaks, etc...without cigs. ill be honest and say i found a cigar cig and deeply inhaled it without realizing what it was and just the thought of it makes me sick lol. |

| thanks. im just really trying to pinpoint how many calories i should be eating. it says i should be eating 1338 to reach my goal by august 1st. im 5'5, 147 pounds....goal weight is 125. 1338 seems to low but i guess if i make it so calorie count picks a date..i can eat more and reach it by october :/ i know...i know...slow and steady wins the race. |

| my friend eats under 1200 a day. tried to tell her that was bad but she lost 5 pounds so if she thinks its working for her then...ok. i see that she only eats fruits, veggies, maybe a couple egg whites, etc. |

| i have had a weave/sewn in hair before. i liked it alot for the first week and then after that...i wanted them out. they just became ratty and it was hard to NOT get them wet. i always had to wear a hair net in the shower and a hat if it rained. it was kinda ok cuz i didnt have that much to wash in the shower....just my bangs and the top of my head. however, after awhile...i missed having my whole head shampood and whatnot so i took them out myself which was a big mistake...so alot of my hair came out. i wore half wigs for awhile until i finally went to a slaon to get my hair cut and styled. recently, i had my hair glued in with latex but i didnt like it cuz it made my hair look really thick. those were easy to take out....but the glue stuck to my head for a very very long time. theres many different ways to get it done. some are better than others... i actually have long hair now....and i plan on just taking tiny strips of colored hair and gluing them in....instead of dying my real hair. it wont fade that way ;0) |

| no cigs again today!!! i love you chantix! went to the gym again! (usually go ohhhhh once a month lol...4th day of working out). i went at a busy time too. usually i try to go when nobody is there cuz i get all nervous around people but i said eff it...they are here for the same reason. i really wanted a coffee and oreo shake but decided not too because it wasnt in my calorie allowance. i would have had to skip dinner lol. |

| i became a vegetarian in january and maybe a couple of weeks ago, i started to eat tuna fish at work. people made me feel guilty about it and i was like 'WHATVER! i am now a pescatarian!". in any case, i do feel a lil guilty about it...and whats even worse...i ate chicken last friday. we went to a new restaurant and the buffalo chicken calzone with blue cheese and hot peppers was staring at me on the menu like eaaaaaaaaat meeeeeeeeeee. so, i did :/ but hey...at least i lasted for awhile and i plan on getting myself back up into it. also, i stopped smoking recently so i feel like i need something bad. time to go watch some utube videos on chicken slaughter. |

| i started chantix 2 weeks ago. i smoked the first week cuz they said you can 7 days prior to your real quit day (of course i took advantage)...and then when my date came, i did buy a pack of cigs a couple days later cuz i found myself getting really stressed out and depressed (with reason but not sure if chantix made it worse...or because i had no cigs heh). it took me 4 days to smoke them all when it used to take one day! yesterday i ran out and today for some reason, i thought 'eh, ill get another pack..at least i wont smoke them all in a day" but i drove past the store =] im very afraid of weight gain but i stepped back into the gym again today so hopefully ill keep this up stop it from happening! |

| jennus....sorry it took so long to get back to you. i forgot about this thread lol. anyways, i tried hydroxycut max. although i really liked it cuz i was awake all day and not tired (when i drink coffee...i get tired an hour later). i felt really energetic... however, i found that i would "lose" my speech. it happened to my friend too. it was like i was so hyper that my words were coming out faster than my thoughts. it was a lil scary. i was supposed to be taking 6 a day after so many days but i stuck to 2-3 a day because i was afraid of what would happen. last night, i was REALLY exhuasted because i forgot to take them to work with me. so, i took 2...and felt really strange. i couldnt handle doing anything so i lied in my bed and tried to sleep (i know its strange to think i could sleep after taking 2 diet pills but i was able to do it). i kept having dreams i was dying....and everytime my alarm went off.....i felt really disoriented. i ended up having a beer later on and with me taking some uppers and then a downer (and sleeping)...i think my body was pissed at me. i lied down to close my eyes and i awoke with puke coming out my nose. so, needless to say...im not taking diet pills anymore. dumb mistake. eat right and work out =/ |

| i was just reading some site that said working out to lose weight is a myth...and that only men really need to work out but for woman its a waste of time....but they are assuming that you are eating the right amount of calories for weight loss and if you chose to eat like a pig....then you should work some of that off. | |||

| lol, i dunno why i wrote this. im a big fan of saying "GOOGLE IT" when people ask me questions or wonder about things. i googled my question and found the runners world one..... but ill also check out the other =] thanks for the advice. i found out that i have this trail RIGHT next to my house that runs from maine to florida. um, im not gonna take walks to different states but found that interesting lol. ill probably go walking with my roommate first so that i know the trail and then take up running when im comfortable =] |

| my scale at home says one thing and i was sorta happy with it but when i used the one at work for a competition (biggest loser)...it says that im 10 pounds heavier. i didnt give it any thought until a few hours later and was like WAIT...i dont weight THAT MUCH!!! but she had it on a carpet (and i was wearing clothes/shoes)...which would change the number. |

| when i tried being a veg just for weight loss reasons before...it didnt work out. not sure why...but i went straight back to eating meat. then, i read some books, watched some videos...and i became a veg again and its helped alot (my mind got to me when i saw how animals were really treated). have i lost weight? not really lol....but im eating better. im eating more veggies and fruit than i have ever eaten before (uhhh, hardly none back then!), drinking more water, etc. its the junk food and whatnot thats hindering my weight loss. i cant be eating large amounts of veg. approved cookies just cuz its veg....duh!!! im proud of myself for actually sticking to something...but its the next part that i hafta deal with which is eating less. | |||

| i am still trying to be healthy by eating the right foods. i recently became vegetarian and im not saying veg. is better than how others eat...but its better for me just cuz im eating fruit and veggies...and better things than i have ever eaten before. i KNOW diet pills are not the easy way out. i dont pop them and eat whatever and lounge around thinking its a quick fix. im using them as a booster. im *hoping* that ill continue to not eat like a pig when im done....cuz i know i cant do these forever! | |||

| ah man....i broke down and bought hydroxycut max =[ i was so anti diet pill before but iv been eating so much and have been very tired. now im eating less and im very energetic. i split the bottle with a friend considering it was kinda expensive and i guess i could see how well or not well it works. i dont think ill ever go to the highest amount it says. 2 a day is enough for me. in good news, i hardly ever drank water before but im drinking alot of it so that i dont get dehydrated and feel icky from taking these. also, i really wanna go to the gym now =0 |
