Thanks everyone, I dont have a target here, but we do have walmart. But its strange, when i go to the US the sizes are so much bigger, and way more selection.  Here everything is so tiny.  Has people there gotten into the lululemon phase?? Its a really nice place for yoga wear, biggest size is a small 12 though, no dice .

I have never bought clothing online before, i might try it out.

pretty tall is 5 '8. Ive been trying for about 6 weeks, ive lost ten pounds. Goal weight is 160 (ish) I agree its probably better to listen to a trainer i pay 60/hr for! he has a degree in nutrition , lifestyle though is sedentary. I see him twice a week for weight training.

i did it . i loved it, but yes eventually i stopped and put the weight back on because i just went back to my old eating habits.

you dont have to pay and go to meetings, you can just buy the book , or even find it online and follow the program yourself, although the book is cheap, 5 or 10 bucks.

you can literally eat anything on ww, as long as you stay in your point values. So based on your weight youd probably be able to eat about 20 points per day...ever food has a value and you just dont go over that value, and guaranteed success pretty much

yeah diet pop has almost zero calories, i know this for sure because of weight watchers. So knock your socks off.... also you can try tea if you're bored, a bit of juice or milk to mix it up maybe with a meal.

hi there,

i had this issue as well... my advice , if you need the medication , stay on it. You can reduce your calories or increase your exercise to get rid of the extra pounds.  The medication itself doesnt cause weight gain but can cause an increase in appetitie... i just started on a birth control pill and new anti depressant, double whammy, but they are much needed meds for me.

Weight Loss My Birthday on Saturday... uh oh Aug 24 2007

HI!

I was in a similar situation , my bday just passed and i had also cut out ice cream, chocolate etc.  I got an ice cream cake and I ate not one, not two but THREE peices of it. And boy was it delicous.

But the good news is, i still lost weight, and im not craving ice cream, although i had a popsicle today.  So go for the cake, you've earned it.

hey anita! two pounds isnt bad, (it actually says you gained about a hundred!) ooops.

So my starting weight was 214, last week 207, this week 206

I only started my diet a few weeks ago.  I have put on about 55 pounds since leaving university in 2003 , the majoirty of the weight though i would say has been in the past year.  35 pounds in the past year probably since moving out and living off take out.  I feel so far away from where i want to be, but i have a supportive partner who throws out all the food and keeps me on track, im grateful for that!
