thanks. well since its 7 pm already, i had planned to do treadmill for 15-20 minutes, then eat dinner, shower, go to bed 8:30-9 ish. i get up at 6 so yea.

thanks again that makes me feel better. i wouldnt want to burn myself out but i hate making excuses, too!

i don't see a problem with trying to "look good"

i mean, sure they're not overweight, but if they can stand to lose a few lbs & get in even better shape, why not?

when i was below 1000 cals, i didn't feel hungry either.

once i upped to 1200-1300 to shoot for a healthier range, all of the sudden, i feel hungrier more often.

i think its cuz my body actually started burning the cals, then asking for more.

but i did lose a little with 900ish cals. but i wanted to be healthy instead.

men are supposed to have at least 1500

so i say shoot for 1500-1600. it might be your body type too. bodies are weird. i say experiment more but cutting the cals, like you're doing, isn't working apparently. so try something different.

thanks. that makes me feel a little better.

it's just with some people, after dieting so long, it finally becomes a lifestyle, a habit, an action without thought, you know?

but im afraid i'll dread working out & get tired of watching everything eventually.

so i'm really hoping i can find something for life rather than just for now :[[

i ended up upping my cals with this site, too. from 900-1000 to 1200ish.

i was afraid of adding more from 900-1000 too! i feel alot better at 1200 now. maybe 1300 too.

yea i think it depends on the body type

like naturally really skinny people, who have high body fat percentage, can probably still fit into size 0 or 2. i mean they might have a high weight & look very un toned, but i bet they'd still fit. dang them.

that's all i can really say.. you need to be more specific. about what you eat & how hard your workouts are

should you do cardio on the same day you do the pilates?

cuz i noticed somewhere, it said you shuld do cardio too...

but what if you did, say, pilates 3 times a week & cardio 2 times a week? or would cardio on the same day give better results?

i think fat & calories do matter.

eating a chocolate chip cookie of about 200 cals isn't the same as eating 2 bananas or something.

or just because you over eat on fruits & veggies (though you could do worse) the calories still add up

i'm not sure how it will effect you, my guess is the overall weight loss, but i think there is a difference between getting your cals from fatty foods rather than the right ones

thanks danielle! yup, short legs... big butt... big thighs.. big calves. eh.

but knowing you went from 15 in to 14 inspires me (: i hope i can slim mine at least a teeeeny bit. they used to be 14.5

i guess i don't mind muscular calves THAT much. as long as they're toned, shaped, & maybe just an inch smaller :D

yea. i haven't really looked for boots. but i think that's why. i know they won't fit :[[ but thanks, i'll look for ankle ones if shoe shop in the near future. haha.

change up your eating pattern & work out pattern, maybe.

do you eat the same thing & do the same thing for your workout?

looks like you're good with excercising.

just eat well. salad (easy on the dressing & choose a good one), grilled chicken, whole wheat bread, & lots of fruits & veggies. watch your cals too.

ok i agree that wasn't urgent- but there's still no need for rudeness.

we come on here for advice- & info we don't know.

but i don't like when people use know-it-all attitudes. some things may be so "obvious" to people, but again, that's why some of us come on here... to learn about it.

i think just less weight loss.

but i think the reason why you shouldn't is cuz you might get in the habit of it. & little nibbles here & there add up, you know? but hey if it keeps you more sane, go for it.

some people even modify the diet, having one meal per day. but if you do one meal a day you have to make sure the calculations are right in terms of protein, carbs & cals. that's why it's so easy to just do the shakes. people love diets knowing what to eat, when to eat, & how much. but if you wanna take the extra step to work a little bit harder on what you're having, go for it. some people actually last through the diet that way.

but the turkey tastes plain to me since all i put is lettuce... heh

the club & sweet onion chicken teriyaki are delicious too, but higher in sodium. but still less than 6 grams of fat, & the club is 320 cals while the teriyaki is 370.
