I dont' think that ABC was upset over the kiss. I watch a soap on that channel that has openly gay characters on it and they kiss alot. And they are male. |

April- I know what you mean. My co-worker daughter caught swine flu and she said "well she touched a pig at the fair the other day that's probably where she got it". I supposed it had nothing to with going to daycare with other kids. People are so funny. |

Hayley- ours did that once I was so mad. Then my husband remembered that he had it set to avoid toll roads so that was why it took us all the way around. So it was the GPS fault it was my husbands! |

My husband and I have a joint checking account also. Then I have one for my son's child support that I use for his expenses. I pay all the bills with our joint account. My Husband truthfully doesn't even know how much is in it. We discuss all big purchases together but the little stuff we don't. I know alot of people who will not even think about joint accounts. |

I didn't read all the posts so sorry if I am repeating something. As far as the family get togethers I think you need to put a stop to her being invited. I was in the same situtation. My husband (before he was my husband) had been divorced for over 10 years and his ex wife, their child, and her husband would come to all the family get togethers. They would even go on vacation with my MIL. Well when I came into the picture I let him know how uncomfortable I was. So they had to put a stop to it. And now my husband and his daughter has a very rough relationship. For so long her mom was invited to everything and now she is not. Of course his daughter is invited to everything. Plus I think she still has some feelings for my husband. When my husband's grandmother died she introduced herself to the funeral director as my MIL's Daughter in Law. And also has gotten into fights with some of his other girlfriends. |

Jackattack- I wish I had that choice but unfortunately in the state of Texas he has a court order and if he wants to see him when it is his visitation then I have to make my son go because of the court order. It doesn't even matter if he wants to go or not. If he calls the police on me they will make my son go. |

I hate it when my ex complains about paying child support. I went thru the state to get mine and they garnish his wages and he hates it. I get only 50 a week because he had 4 other children from 2 other women. He feels like since I am married and have a house that I don't need his money. Do you know how much a teenager can eat? I need the money! Also my husband pays $1000 every month for 2 kids and doesn't complain. It is just shows how different they are. |

I have the same issue with my son's father. Every since he was little he always breaking promises, complaining about paying child support, and just being a overall jerk. I remember when he was little I was constantly having to console him because of something his stupid father did. He even called me about 2 months ago wanting to stop the child support because Tony doesn't want to hang out with him all the time. I do believe that Karma will get him. My ex can't keep a job or a relationship! |

I think that this is creepy. You said he was a substitue right? He has no reason to be contacting the child. The present itself was inappropiate. Unless he got the whole class something. I would def. report it. |

Hey guys thank you again for all the tips. They ended up changing his schedule. She knew he would not be there so I guess she figured she better change it before she ended up with no coverage. Alibsam- Thank you! After raising a boy it is so fun to have a girl to dress up. Yesterday went to braums to get something and she was wearing a pink boa, pink wings and pink sunglasses! |

He is a good kid. Actually the first thing he told when he found out they didn't give him off was: "well it is my fault so I will just cancel my conference." I was like no way that is something that you were selected for and turning that down.

That the way I look at it too. I just want him to have good work values. He hasn't missed a day yet and he goes in when they call him so I think maybe they won't fire him. I just can't believe they are being such jerks about it. I am sure there is plenty of teenagers working there that would like to have more hours. I am going to tell him to try and get someone to take his shift. |

He is 16 the job is at Kroger. He is trying to get ahold of the girl that hired him the problem is that she hires for two Krogers in the area and she is not based at his. He talked to the manager and he said that the lady that hired him should have not made that promise. No he doesn't have anything in writing. He does belong to the union that may help some.

cc31- I didn't even think about that. I work for a Korean Dr. and patients bring him fruit all the time and it is very fresh and huge. I don't know what they do to their peaches but those things are huge. There isn't one where I live but there are some close by where I work. I need to check it out! |

I thought I was the only one who thought this. It is a shame I really like to go to Whole Foods because they have a good variety of veggies and fruit but it is way to expensive for me. But everytime I go it is packed and people have their carts full. |

| The Lounge | I'm confused about these Code Amber alerts. | Jun 15 2009 17:05 (UTC) |

It all depends on the info given to the police. I know here in Texas we have a missing baby and they did do a amber alert right away beacuse they were getting conflicting stories from the parents. They have since issued one but I think it was a day or two later. |

I never thought about doing the wii with her I am sure she will like it. Well we went on our little walk last night. About half through it she wanted to be carried so I had to carry her home which I guess was good for me because I got a better workout. Then we get all the way home and she went straight to the car wanting me to get out the stroller. I was like no way I am tired! |

I have another one. My friend's mom had her mother's spirit put in her house somehow.(at least that is what she told us) But we would be in the living room and all of the sudden the blinds would move. And one time her brother was in his room making out with his girlfriend and he swore he saw red eyes in his closet and then he starting calling his grandmothers name and they went away. I personally think the family was a little crazy. |

There is a town next to us with a street named Chalk Hill and supposely there was a school there where a bunch of kids died in a fire. They say if you go down that street at midnight you can hear the kids playing. I don't know if it is true I never went down the street. |
