| my diet is very very strict.... i dont eat meat and cheese in the first place so that made things maybe a little easier..... i cut out almost all grains, focused on fruits, veggies, and soy.... no cheat days or snacks EVER..... i did 1 binge (a WHOLE BOX OF PASTA!!!) in this entire time... thats it. i prefer not to eat things with over 12g of fat/5g saturated fat/ANY trans fat.... after awhile i kind of lost the urge to eat chocolate and stuff and now its a lot easier.... not getting any cravings for anything really, unlike before where i would only be satisfied with a bunch of swets and salty snacks.... i dont feel like eating them anymore when i get t 120 (hopefully by mid october maybe sooner!! i will MAINTAIN at 1,200cal/day i think) thanks for your advice!!!! |

| breakfest - a BUTTLOAD of hash browns!!!! and pancakes drowning in maple syrup with butter!!! sunnyside up eggs!!! lunch - dont know!!! probably a HUGE veggieburger with like 3 patties on in it, with a TON of french fries dinner - enough pasta to make you explode!!!! dessert - a HUGE soft serve ice cream, with small peanut butter cups and cookie dough mixed in!!! |

| and by the way.... i have some emotional problems that this "friend" knows about. little things like the incidents i mentioned above can really get me 1000X more upset then the regular person would get .... (warning some of the stuff i do i am gonna mention is really really messed up) last time me and this friend got in a fight (hmm 2-3 weeks ago) she blocked me on aim and i didnt kno wat to do and started cutting my wrists.... she saw my wrists a week or so later.... and told me to get help.... but she knows that these little things still set me off into like a breakdown.... there are 2 more breakdowns this friend caused me to have (one involving writing suicide messages on every inch of the walls in my room using lipstick, the other running away from home 2 miles to the bordering town at the highway, i was gonna jump in the rode and get hit by a car purposely to kill myself but once i got there i decided not to) and i really really cant stop crying right now cuz of this.... but thanks everyone so much your advice is really good.... |

| ok thanks, but i am only 14 i dont kno if i can get even a job helping out at a church..... yes i used to be a huge asshole and i LIKED being hated by people so i got almost the whole grade turned against me and for sum reason i liked it but now i dont like it and i want friends, and the girl i mentioned was my only friend..... but i dont kno why she is acting like this, i am helping her out a lot with a bunch of projects she doin but shes giving me no credit so i feel very sad (only a few months ago we were like best friends and i even invited her to a very expensive concert tho she couldnt go) i guess ill just forget this friend thanks sooo much!!! |

| magnesium stearate, a preservative made of beef, is in lifesavers, most vitamins, some gum, tic-tacs, etc. check the back of your hard candy packages for this ingerdient because its not vegetrarian marshmallows have gelatin as well :( |

| with the depression thing..... good you brought it up..... i dont know if i have that but i have been feeling awful the last few months.... like i am going nowhere with my life and that all my friends are going to be rich and famous and me ill just grow up to be nothing..... i have a lot of reasons i think this but most too personal to get into here... around the time i started thinking this is around the time i started dieting.... so that would be a self-satisfaction thing..... and even though i have lost so much weight i am still not at all satisfied.... i dont feel any thinner though..... ok i will think about going to a doctor or maybe a school counseler (school starts september 5th) thanks for your adive people if anyone else has more tell me post it |

| i read your post but didnt know how to respond so i willrespond here...... i know i am a healthy weight and that its impossible to gain a pound unless i eat over 3,500 in a day but i have this really big fear that wont go away that if i eat even a little more than i am (even though i am eating usually under 1,000 cal a day) my bodys metaolsinm which would have slowed cuz i am eating so little will make me gain weight.... even if thats not true i am afraid that will happen and worried about eating foods with over 100cal for snacks and stuff..... even though now i am really hungry.... how ccan i get rid of this feeling of fear? i read what you said and know its true but i am sooo worried!! :( | |||

| well what you said is lots different than what the people around me say, my grandmother wanted me to go on my first diet when i was 7.... in gym once we had to get in order by weight and not only was i the heaviest girl, i was heavier then all the guys too...... so they made me get on the guys line!!! it was embarassing.... also my doctor told me right to my face when i was 12 that i was too fat.... i think several months later i went on a starvbation diet and failed..... what i am doing now is working and i am downb like 25lbs but i still feel fat.... i want to get down to 130 (healthy weight fir my height) and i told my dad is telli ng me to get into the 120s.... because he said i could brag to my friends about my weight because a few of them most likely weigh more then that.... but i dont want to..... also sometimes in school people would call me fat but not too much.... i remember the girl who was my best friend in 4th grade told me to lose weight then!! in 4th grade.... crazy.... so yeah its easier said then done there is sooo much pressure.... | |||

| ok ok i was just asking if i should eat a lil more because i heard if you dont eat ENOUGH your metabolism slows..... and that would cause weight gain cuz i would go into starvation mode.... and i dont want that.... i am to scared of eating foods with more then like 10 grams fat/3 grams staurated fat.... i feel like eating them will make me gain like a pound a day...... i used to eat frozen yogurt 1 time a week even on my diet but i stopped because it may not be very fattening but it is still more calories.... the thing i got for dinner has like 15g fat and 3g(i think) saturated fat and 380 calories.... i am absolutely TERRIFIED to eat it (its frozen dinner with vegetarian chile, spninich and cornbread.... which i dont eat....) |

ksylvan - yes you are right i am under 19.... i am 14 (15 in january) eating disorder? i am not sure.... dont think so.... i used to be very overweight for my height ( 5'5 and 165lbs) now i am 5'6 and 145 (well i weighed myself a month ago so that may not be exact) and that isnt really high but still close to the normal - overweight border so i am trying to get down to 130. about the foods you mentioned, i dont eat fish (i am a vegetarian) and i replace all ice cream with frozen yogurt, and i dont evemn eat that often.... should i have ice cream instead? i cant eat nuts much because they are bad for my braces.... i love muffins though!! i dont have any weights under 8 lbs, though maybe i can try lifting some hosehold objects that weigh like 1-5lbs? would this work? thanks so much for all the info!!! |

| ok ate 1 more saturn peach, up to 800 something. gonna stop now, just drank 2 HUGE glasses of water so i feel full now so i dont pig out later tonight stopped eating bread completely.... to many carbs... also stopped eating meat and reduced dairy to products it is in ( so no eggs or milk, but i will eat something made with either.... on their own to much fat) |

| i never liked oatmeal ever.... my favorite low cal snack is unbuttered popcorn, also pears and nectarines (i dont have any right now). i am still thinking of eating.... wait 30 calories of what i ate today was gum.... (3 sticks of big red over the day) should i like subtract that? i heard you burn more calories chewing gum than calories come from it.... | |||

| but i messed up really bad 2 days ago and went over 2,000 calories..... i am worried i am gonna keep messing up and going over my limit repeatedly.... i am just scared cause even though this would only bring me 51 calories over my limit i am terrified to gain even an ounce of weight because i used to be soooo fat (5'5 and 165.... i am now 5'5 or 5'6 and 140-145ish.... still need to lose alot but not as bad....) | |||
