Hello everyone! Even though this forum has been open for quite sometime I'd love to join in the support etc! I'm 24, 5'5 and the last time I weighed myself (before my batteries died in my scale) I was 138. I would ideally like to be a toned 120lbs. I have been as low as 128 but then the holidays came around, I went out of town, at alot and didnt work out :( boo anyways i hope everything is having a great day!!! and i will be back to read/post more soon :] x0x0 |

ahhh i am familiar with Xyience .... only cuz i'm like obsessed with UFC and alota fighters promote Xyience. especially Rich Franklin and Matt Hughes. i've never tried it though, i guess i was under the impression the drinks were more like a weight lifting supplement or something. if they are 0 sugar, 0 calories i wil most definitely have to look into them. thanks :) |

| lol that sounds like a good idea. i dont know a whole lot about cooking but i think it wouldnt work because theres no baking soda...so the "cookie" wouldnt rise it would just stay flat.... | |||

ooook here we go....again.....for real this time, im tired of being fat! age: 23 height: 5'5" current weight: 160.5 low weight: 128 high weight: 178 (OH MY GOD!) i want to be back down to 128....i'm not pushing myself towards anything lower than that....though i'd love to be 120. once i get to 128 i will see what i look like and how i feel. but i most definitley need buddies! even if the measurements are a little off....an inch in height....a few pounds.....im looking for someone (or more then one) who is on about the same wavelength as me. with current and goal. message me or add me on myspace!! lookin forward to finally breakin the cycle! :D |

| ahhh after a small diet hiatus of not watching what I was eating and not working out (at all)....I’m back :D and this post...ironically....was the first one I read this morning. Anyways past all that.....drinking is seemingly always my biggest problem when I’m trying to loose weight! Whenever my roomie and I would go out and drink we always would stop at Denny's at 3....3:30.....4 in the morning to calm the post drinking hunger. I knew that doing that was wrecking everything good that I had achieved in the previous work week. SOO...thankfully she got a boyfriend....meaning now...we don’t go OUT to the clubs and bars so much anymore. we drink at the house.....which has been a blessing in disguise....now instead of giving in to the craving for high fat, high carb, high lard...horribly bad foods...I take two liquid Advil (to avoid the inevitable hangover)....and give into the craving for my pillow :D don’t get me wrong, its still fun to go out (in fact we're supposed to be going out this Saturday night) but really it all comes down to how MUCH do you want to loose the weight? Even if your **** faced drunk there’s still that little voice in the back of your head that’s screaming "DONT EAT THAT!" as you shove your face full of cheese fries....or pepperoni pizza with extra grease :P control and self-will really is the only thing that keeps you from succumbing to the munchies. It’s also good if you do have regular drinking buddies....that you kinda let them know your intentions. I tell my roomie now, when we're drinking and it’s late and I’m pretty toasted just don’t ask me if I want something to eat. If you go into the kitchen to get something, don’t bring it up to me. at least that way I’m not having to fend off the temptations from someone else....its only my own self that I have to fight with :P sry I know this post was a little long but I guess the point I’m trying to make is that its very possible to drink....have fun....(take two Advil)....and wake up the next morning without the hang over and without the guilt that comes from drunken indulgences ;)
oh and btw..... blue moon is a phenomenal beer! i love it :D and good luck with your trip Jennifer! just remember....salad with dressing on the side if you're at a resturant and convenience stores tend to at least have pretzels or fruit or yogurt. stay stong girlie!!!!

i actually just started with the patch (ortho evra) again....after like a year and a half of no birth control. i will have to let you guys know if i notice any weight loss/gain differences from being on it. i was a little worried about that myself. but hey i figure holding on to a few pounds for a little bit is WAY better than a kid! :P |

pilates are a great form of exercise....can be very low impact with great results if you keep up with it. ive easily found room in my small apt to do most of the exercises. its also a great way to de-stress after a long day. many of the exercises are great for stretching. here goes a link to a site with a bunch of different workouts.......

heyy guys......im here for the long haul too....i'd LOVE to loose 50 pounds.....that'd put me down in the 120 range....im 5'5.....that's about right. i've been on this site for about a month but its been an up and down battle (again). im attempting to re focus and get to it so hopefully this will help :) x0x0 |

| indeed....i've heard that you're supposed to have all your calorie consumption done by 7. which is much easier for me then 5 lol i get outta work @ 5 the only way i could not eat anything as soon as i leave work is to go home and go to sleep. which, i believe, would classify me as a hermit :P | |||

thank you everyone for your advice and imput! darraign - i did start with a warm shower but ended up turning the water a little colder which did help a bit....so it may have been over heating star - thats a great idea i may try to eat a piece of fruit before hand next time :) ilovethebeach (so do i hee hee!) - i actually just got over a cold so that could also be playing into it a little bit agana - lol its funny cuz i felt a little bit proud that i pushed myself to the point of nasuea....weird i know :P thanks again guys!!! :)~ x0x0 |
