Well I suppose you shouldn't eat them, that would really be unhealthy, unless of course they are low in calories and taste like Red Velvet Cake.  Wink

The ones that kill me are the foods that contain "approximately 2 1/2 servings.... WTF?  is that for the families with 2.1 children????

As for surfing CC for weird food calories, have you checked out the activity counter?  Does sitting quietly in church really need it's own catagory?  Does it differ that much from sitting watching tv?  Surly Catholics with all the sitting, standing and kneeling burn more than those sedentary Methodists...lol  and the Pentecostals have to really be feeling the burn with the speaking in tongues and clapping.

Weight Loss Perscription pills Oct 23 2007

I took Phentermine recently. It's one of the diet pill they prescribe now.  Back in the day, we called them robins eggs and bought them  $10 for 100 from a back door doctor.  LOL  I was thin then, Oh and I used them to  them to study..... It's speed so if you take it at night, no sleep.    Now they call it 'bariatric medicine" and charge you $15 for 7. I did lose 11 pounds in a month but gained it all back +some.     And it will mess up your metabolism.

I did learn a couple of things while  going to the bariatric guy though.  Dill Pickles are a great appetite suppressant.  Also I would suggest protein after work and if you can a work out.  maybe yoga or a walk?  I like to do weights.   Not even a real long one, just 10-15 minutes of sweating will help.

Health & Support Dizzy! Anyone had this problem? Oct 23 2007

First, find a gym with a nursery.  If you don't have the cash, volunteer for part of the membership.   Get a stroller and walk with your boy.  Babies and lazy boyfriends are no excuse not to love yourself.

Eat!  Make sure you get plenty of protien.  .5 grams for every pound you weigh.

when you get dizzy, eat a pickle or drink some boullion.  All the water is flushing your sysytem of electrolites and other good things that keep your synapsis firing.  the salt in those foods will help.

Your baby is just the right size for helping you with a weight routine.  Let him sit on your feet while you roll up and kiss his face.  Do chest presses with him.  Have crawling races with him.

Good luck to you.  You're going to succeed!!!

You are a VERY funny guest on Ellen.  So funny and successful that Ellen becomes enraged and  insanely jealous of your success.  she shaves your head and ships you off to a secret monestary in Tibet where you have to live in a room with no cable television and cheap rough sheets.

I wish I was the last comic standing.

Wow.. just out of curiosity, what would his reaction be if you made any of these sort of comments to him.

"Boy, if you didn't have that beer belly you could actually buckle your belt."

 Or,

" Gee you sure have a teeny peeny!"

Or

"Hey I bet we could wear the same size bra!"

Maybe you're right and  he doesn't mean to hurt your feelings but it sure smacks of passive aggressive behavior.

Oh, I sort of figured that when the specifics were so vague.  And my favorite smoothie is Cherry Vanilla Yogurt and Chocolate slimfast powder blended with some ice cubes... tastes like chocolate covered cherries

I love the vanilla!  I eat it about every day.  I read the website about the 'challenge' but I could never figure out what exactly it is guaranteed to do...  Maybe I'm just dense and need it spelled out for me but  it tastes mmmmmgooooood and has a lot of protein and isn't' that much more expensive that other yogurt so.... I continue to eat it, yes.

For some reason I've noticed since I've gotten older, Milk seems to really  bother me like that.  Didn't use to or at least I didn't notice that it did.  I bloat and get acid reflux and if it's near bed time.... I can't sleep for the farting and the belching... really romantic I'm sure.  I love milk so I use it in moderation and early in the day. Also learned to love soy  and rice milk.

A sure fire way  to get the gas out for me is to attend a really crowded and quiet yoga class. LOL  I've yet to figure out a way to "pull  your knees to you chest, hold it and... reelaaax..... " while trying to keep the sphincter muscles tight ....  Sorry  TMI????

Motivation Lady off the street Compliment.... Aug 24 2007

I got a random compliment yesterday too! I was shopping for a special occasion dress. Not really enjoying it because I didn't like the way I look in a three-way mirror. An older lady came up and said, "Aren't you a beautiful woman and just the cutest thing with those little bow legs." It made me laugh. I mean she is right, I do have the cutest little bow legs. It reminded me to look for my assets.

I try to pay a compliment to a stranger at least once a day.

I once saw a guy at work who looked really down. Head down, shoulders slumped, just pathetic and dejected looking. As I walked past I said, "you know you look a little like Mel Gibson". (This was What Women Want Mel, not raving maniac on the street Mel.) His whole demeanor and body language changed.

If you want to really freak someone out, call and tell an employer something NICE about one of their employees. Since normally they only get complaints they will sometimes actually say, "um? is that all?".
