You can also read it in the YOU series *owners manual and on a diet) by dr. oz and dr. roizen.

I also go to a nutritionist. Lots of raw veggies in this house.

Anyway...good luck.

Check you fat intake, you might need less fat and more calories, think lots of lean meat and green veggies. Less fat intake directly influences your belly fat.

I'm 5 foot as well, as is all my friends with children. They all lost more weight to loose the belly, but they still had that flap of skin. It all comes down to acceptance or plastic surgery, for the flappy skin. I'm angry about all those people with kids that don't tell people this. I learned the hard way!! Anyhow, good luck, I'm with you on this one, I had two babies back to back. The first I lost weight easily, the second, not so much.

Foods worried about "natural flavorings" in meats Jun 22 2009

Actually, food can labe MSG under psuedonyms if it is not at least 97+% msg. So this stuff is horrible for people, it causes all sorts of health problems. You can still gain weight without eating this crap!! Buy organic! Don't buy anything that has been prespiced or processes.

Also, they spray fruits and vegetables with this stuff...so buy organic there too!!

Here is a link to all the names that has msg in: http://www.truthinlabeling.org/hiddensources. html

Here are some books as well:

Robert Blaylock, Excitotoxins: the taste that kills

John Erb, The Slow Poisoning of America

The 100 year lie and the Crazy Makers

Good luck! My best friend has been in recovery from an ED for 8 yrs. It was a very long hard process for her. She had been in ICU many times on the verge of death. I wish you luck and the strength to overcome it!!

Vegetarian Very seriously considering going Veg Jun 26 2008

I am the only vegetarian in my household. My husband eats meat, and my son is on a gluten free/casein free diet. My daughter eats anything!! For my husband, more than my son, I use a lot of fake meat products for spaghetti, tacos, ribs...he honestly can't tell the difference. I have even used it on my dad, who will not eat anything vegetarian. Never even noticed!! My husband doesn't mind, he's very supportive.

My brother is a vegetarian and his stepson doesn't eat "fake"meat.  They feed it to him all the time, as of 6 mos ago, and he doesn't even notice. He's 12, they've decided to tell him when he turns 18 that he's been a vegetarian the whole time.

The only issue is that if you don't eat meat, inevitably, you will get sick when you eat it again. So, be leary of that if you decide not to tell anyone. They make a bunch of products that resemble meat, having said that, it's so easy once you get used to it. As far as the whole family eating, my brother does this too..if you don't want to eat it, then you don't eat.  It's that simple.

Good luck!
