Trick to drink more water: Make ice cubes using your favorite flavor of Kool-aid (no sugar - I make lemonade ice cubes). Toss 2 or 3 into a glass. Fill with cold water...Voila! Tasty water!

Problem I have is old bladder :(

I had an epiphamy today! (that alone should count as extra calories)

You asked if anyone else gets frustrated about how long it takes to lose. I AM FRUSTRATED!

So I thought about it. And I have the answer to understand the frustration. (Drum roll please)

"After the weight is gone, one has a tendency to remember better how long it took to lose even the smallest amount. And then is more motivated to stay on the new "lifestyle"! Who would ever want to go through it again?"

Okay, not shattering. But hopefully motivational.

What ever happened to pants/jeans that actually go to your waist? My "extras" used to be just fine tucked away behind firm demin. Now it just hangs over. I know they have a phrase for this.."muffin top". But mine is more like a melted sundae!

Thanks, now I am craving brussel sprouts. I always make a big ordeal making them (my daughters love it this way) Trim the hard part off the stem end, criss cross cuts on the stem, Blanche them in boiling water, toss them in a baking pan with lemon (vinegar works too in a pinch), a smidge of olive oil, roast them. Eat whole. Glad I gave up watching Martha Stewart years ago or all my meals would be too ordealing (not a word?)

Gads! I spend enough time in my head telling MYSELF-- ?Do you really need that?. Last thing I need is someone else telling me what I should eat. So far most of my friends and family are staying out of it. My honey though had the audacity early in the game (like just last week or so?) to bring me a bowl of vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate after we finished dinner!! I was strong (for once) and asked why???? I didn?t need that. His reply was ?Well cover it and put it in the freezer for when you want it?  (Happily he ate it two days later). He is trying to be more supportive now.

Personally if someone were to ask me if I really needed that slice of cheese I?d probably say something like ..Well actually you?re right? I need the chips and the salsa and the other lonely slices of cheese to go with it? mmm NACHOs?Seems balanced?

My fridge is officially called "the condiment container". Let's see... 5 salad dressings, 3 mustards, 2 tabascos, 3 BBQ sauces, and various other "flavor enhancers"! All opened and ready for use.

And thanks guys for the giggles this morning!
