| Oh man. I've stopped Si6 because my knees just went... horrible. I don't know why but everything I do with it makes them pop and eventually hurt. It killed my drive to do anymore and instead I'm going to start doing 45 minutes of belly dancing a day. Well. learning to belly dance.
I hope to go to a doctor soon and get the knee thing worked out. D: I loved that video! It got me from a size 18 to a 14! I want size 10, dangit. |

| Wooooow. So sorry I've been out of it. The tooth came out and I've JUST been able to get myself eating normally.
I'm still hella unmotivated though. >.O After doing RIU a few times, it got BORING. I don't know what to do! |

| Sorry for not posting for so long. D:
I've been trying to do RIU but my knee... it keeps popping when I try to do the pilates and the back lunge. Things like that. It doesn't hurt, exactly, it feels more like I have an air pocket in my knee and it gets annoying. Also, the noise kind of freaks me out. I'm able to drown it out by playing loud Indian music (From India, not North America) and by turning the music OFF of the DVD. Also, I turn the volume down so low I can hardly hear her. But still, I can -feel- it popping and now, whenever I do it, I get a little freaked out. I haven't been able to successfully finish a session after the first few times because of it. Any advice? D: I really like the program and don't want to quit. My legs are stronger and I KNOW I'm loosing weight - or at least fat. My upper body is loosing most of it, unfortunetly. TUMMY BE GONE! I just don't know what to do about the popping. Also, those oblique crunches we do by standing? By FAR my favorite part. I get to hop around. XD DAN! Good luck and CONGRATS on the newest loss~ |

| Haha, fine then. :3 But ending!result pictures are always great motivators. I had to stop RIU after like... fifteen minutes. After numerous stopping and panting. Having asthema is killer when you want to be able to breath correctly. I don't know if I can do it. Only ten minutes in and I'm sweating like a pig and ...I HATE those squats! They are EVIL! Maybe if I get mom in on it it would be more of a motivator. Edit: So. I got to the 30 minute mark and the resistance band part comes up. I can't FIND mine. Ugh. This is such a disappointment. :\ I wanted to try and finish it! How long do the resistance bands last? |

| haha, well I took your advice and took it severely easy this weekend. No working out, eating (mostly) healthy stuff... In saturday, I weighed in. I've lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks. I'm rather proud.
Today was my last day of SIU. >| I will conquer RIU!! I SHALL! Sorry, amy. 3: I don't know how many calories you burn per video. I just know as long as you feel the muscles getting worked and break at least a light sweat, you're doing something right! Welome to the SI6 thread - you'll do great. WHOOOO, DAN! BIU? Go YOU! I demand pictures whenever you take them or see more results! Well. Ask nicely anyway? :) |

| I only managed 10 minutes before I was shaking and sweating and kind of went and just... sat down. Haha, it was so lame.

| Sorry for not updating! XD Yesterday was a non St6 day, mainly because I need a root canal. It made eatnig anything nearly impossible and I didn't want to burn calories when I didn't think I'd make the bare minimum anyway.
Today almost wasn't a day because I had to be rushed to the ER around 3.30 AM due to my pain meds backfiring and tearing up my stomach. But.. I decided to be a lazy person, wait until 6.30 tonight and... I'm doing it NOW. XD Haha, but now I'm at my own house and have to watch myself in a freaking MIRROR while I do it. If that isn't unmotivating... >< To see how I bounce and jiggle even while exerciseing.. Ah well! Glad to see you're doing REALLY! well, Dan! |

| I have this almost risque-looking black net top that I wore to a rave once. Only after did I realize that overweight girls shouldn ot wear those things. D:
I wish to wear it at this next years con (where the rave was at a few years back!) and look FABULOUS. Along with my size 10 green cargo pants. :3 |

| Whew! I almost lost ALL motivation for Slim in 6 in about two days. I have this thing with instant results. XD
Mostly, I was pissed cause I could hardly do 15 minutes without wanting to COLLAPSE. Well, today I plugged in my mp3 player, got a LARGE glass of water and did it. All 25 minutes of SIU. It's a stupid little conquest but I feel enourmously proud of myself. This, ladies and gents, is going to be a Good Week. |

| Two weeks ago I was 189 and now I'm 184 so I'm loosing about 2.5 a week which I hear is normal/healthy for someone who is overweight and flipping from a sedentry/junk food eating-soda slurping lifestyle to one of whole wheat bread, water, exercise and the occasional piece of chocolate. XD;; So I'm doing all right I just can't see any results.
Damn being a part of the point-click generation! Thank you both. :3 And x17star17x, that would be wonderful. We can get DS games and jeans together! Or...the next Fables Comic book for me. XD Or a new bra. Man. Bras. I miss bras that aren't beige and black. |

| Tucking in the bum is one I always forget! Ahahaha. It's so easy to when you're lengthening your abdominals, still trying to breathe AND concentrating on the moves you're attempting.
I will keep trying! Probably at work, between phone calls. I alread yget weird looks for doing hip-pops and snake arms while I'm there. I think if my boss sees my butt trying to wriggle about he might die laughing. An interesting way to get workers comp though. |

| I've been trying to learn belly dancing but... holy damn. XD; Man, do I suck! It's a work out for the tummy and legs and arms but I can't shimmy and for some reason, I can't move the top of my body while keeping my hips still. They always move, just a little, and it gets me so frustrated I just stop.
Shimmying just makes me jiggle and not even in time with the way it's supposed to. Depressing. There are classes each saturday nearby but I don't want to go and be the only one without any grace or stability there. |

| Arg! I bought the CDs from Amazon and it's been ten days. I want them now.
Man, I'm impatiant. I'd be happier if I could get in contact with the buyer though - there's no way to do it! Seriously, wtf? Even eBay lets you message the seller. Now I just feel like a lump of yucky flesh because Tae Bo is boring as anything and I can only sing and run on the elliptical so much. |

| I think I would make my friends and family running out of the house, screaming and flailing my arms if I tried to exercise like THAT. XD;; I'll try getting the more fitted shoes, though. These are loose usually and they just slip and hurt like crazy - watching psycho Billy Blank doesn't help much either, though. >>;;

| I read this forum and purchased Slim for 6 from Amazon while reading it. XD I joined this community just to post here! It should be arriving soon and I throughly look foreward to starting getting my butt kicked. I need to buy a measuring tape from Wal*Mart tonight and I'll measure before exercising that first day.
I'm 189.5 pounds (with food in me. <3), 5'6", 20 years old and I'm... Just really tired of being unable to fit in that size 12 pair of jeans I wore in High School. I want to be toned and cute. I know my target weight on the calender via profile says 136 but. -=shrugs=- If I can fit into that skirt... Just have to say, you ladies motivated me to get moving. :3 Thank you. |
