| Interesting...I have Lyme Disease, so I am on TONS of antibiotics and herbs...so that could be it. As I wrote, my clothing certainly fit better. I am definitely retaining water, my feet are HUGE. I am going to Vegas today, so I am hoping the dry heat helps me compress. LOL
Also, my sister said when she began working out, she gained weight too and then dropped about 10 lbs in a week and a half...so, I think you are onto something with the water weight and the salt. I do have a high salt diet. Not on purpose. I just CRAVE salt - so, I snack on sourdough pretzels. |

| Wow!!! Hello fellow rebounders! I was googling today about rebounding and NEVER thought I would end up back to where I've been already for so many answers. Here's my question:
I am on week 3 of daily rebounding. I rebound for 30 minutes at a pretty high intensity ever morning when I get up (followed by 10 push-ups and 20 sit-ups). I have also been watching what I am eating...since I started rebounding, I've GAINED 5 lbs. All of my clothing fit better on me and my boyfriend said I don't shake as much, but I am gaining weight!!!! Can anyone help me understand what is going on??? I know it seems crazy, but I also know people here can certainly relate to how depressing it for the scale to go the OTHER way!!! 5'2" and WAS 175lbs and now 180Lbs |

| Start weight: 188 lbs (and I am 32 and 5'2") got down to 168 lbs and then had to go off of my meridia, which WAS helping -because we found out I have Lyme. Which is why I had to stop exercising and it SUCKS to be back up to 180lbs!!! I was at 168 July 11th. In less than a month I've put on 15 lbs. It's ridiculous. However, I find it really interesting that my clothing still fits. PHEW. I found this website because I was always curious as to how people can be the same height and weight and wear completely different sizes. I have huge breasts - size 34F and I think that's why even at my weight I wear medium size tops and size 12 jeans. My 10's fit but are tight and only one size 8 skirt fits. I am very very curvy. Waist is about 32 inches and I have THUNDER THIGHS - most jeans wont fit over my thighs but are baggy at the waist. My smallest measurement is my inseam at 24 inches...smaller than my thighs!! I guess I am writing because I am depressed and looking for encouragement. The thinnest I ever was was 149 and I was a size 6. Granted I was all messed up on hardcore narcotics and I don't want to go down that road again. I just was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, which they think I have had for years...since summer camp. I've been exhausted for months and it's just really difficult to do anything. I had been working out and dieting and taking meridia and it was all working. i was down to 168 July 11th. I just started taking Xenical and I cut out all red meat for about a week now. Just chicken and fish - meanwhile, I CRAVE red meat and salt constantly. I, like most people who post here, HATE water and that's all I drink. I watch how other people eat and it saddens me that I eat about half of what they do and the people I watch are usually REALLY THIN! I hate how I react to thin people, as well. Granted I am lucky to be pretty and my weight has never prohibited me to have friends and boyfriends, etc - I just don't get why I don't have a great metabolism and why some people who are my height and weight are size 16's and greater. My goal is to get back to a size 6 - which for me was between 145 and 150. Anything smaller than that and I think I will look weird. Thoughts... |
