I don't like that site because after after about 125lbs at my height the model doesn't get any skinnier. So I can't use it.

Hahaha I find it so bizarre that you find it odd. For me and I suspect about 95% of British people, the good old black pudding as we call it is renowned and well-known. You wouldn't be able to go into a butchers without a blood sausage in amongst the other meats and if you ordered a full English breakfast in a cafe or pub you would 9 times out of 10 get a slice with you beans, egg, sausage and bacon.

Your weight sounds really low, but so a teenager, especially a very young teenager it suits you. You look healthy and not boney, if I weighed 110lbs at almost 20 years old I would look like a sack of bones!

Health & Support Are these posts actually sent by someone suffering from an ed? Jan 02 2008

Yes! I know what you mean, loads of people on this site say they have anorexia or similar, but it seems a lot of them are diagnosing themselves and waaay overracting or embellishing their problems for attention. I have experienced inpatient care and know the real side of this terrible disorder. I feel there are lots of "wannabes" on here, who are only here to gain attention from well-meaning but overreacting do-gooders who tell them what they want to hear, that they are ill and need help etc. I am in no doubt there are many real sufferers on here too, but I personally have never done what many young girls on here are doing, and gone about diagnosing myself as being really ill. It wasn't until I needed hospitalising that I admitted there was anything seriously wrong with me, and unlike them I hated the attention and the worry I was causing.

Lol, no I totally get that. People are always like food is nice, it tastes good, chocolate is great and it's like I FRIKKIN KNOW IT IS, doesn't mean I'm going to ingest all those calories though!

Zebulan, not everyone on this site is American. In Britain and many other countries it is 18, which is far more sensible than 21 in a country where you can drive a tonne killing machine at 16....

Honestly, no, it is quite far from being "insanely" low, and isn't particuarlly low at all, you are in the 33rd percentile for your age, height and weight, and you can go as low as the 5th and still be healthy (about 100lbs). That is, of course, if the person was naturally very slender. You are right to stop now, you are at a stable healthy weight, not too high or low. Although, to be honest I get kinda annoyed at these kind of posts. To say you are scared is a teeensy bit of an overreaction, you are hardly going to drop dead of starvation any minute. And there is a veeery simple answer, eat more high calorie food...if you ate like a handful of nuts a day you would easily bump up your intake and they are small and not hugely filling. Instead of eating loads of low calorie food, if you are serious about gaining some weight, eat more fatty foods, they don't have to be unhealthy.

I am glad they are american, I am safe here in britain! I still find it hard to believe a PASTA dish can have that many, do they serve you out of troughs?! EVEN if they sauce was pure lard and butter and cheese I am only seeing 2000 max.

I stick by my guns, there is no way ANY dish can have that many. Was it pasta in lard!? Was it in a soup of cooking oil?! NO. NOT possible.

No, I am sorry but whoever said 3,700 is lying and being ridiculous. There is NO way, unless the portion sizes are actually an ENTIRE cheesecake, that it could have that many calories. I am sorry but whoever said that is very misinformed about calories in general if they seriously believe that it could have that much in. Even a really fattening fried breakfast meal barely reaches 2000. I would say even the biggest pieces of cheesecake would be no more than 800.
Health & Support Anorexia recovery - weight and boobs Dec 31 2007

I have inherited the big boob gene from my mum. Even when I weighed 92lbs and had a bmi of 14 I had 30C boobs. When I recovered up to 135lbs I went back to my original 34DD instantly. Now I am 114lbs, I am still a 32DD, my boobs will never cease to be and I will always have to buy bigger sized tops :( Plus I have people asking me if they're fake which I actually find quite insulting.

Health & Support From recovery to binging Dec 30 2007

1/3 or former anorexics relapse, 1/3 of former anorexics recover completely and 1/3 of former anorexics become binge eaters and develop COE, bulimia and other EDs associated with over eating. That is what my therapist told me on my first recovery session and it scared the living hell out of me! From that moment on I was determined that if I had to eat and recover, I wasn't going to become fat and bulimic, I was actually really frightened of that happened and thus, I did the right routines, went to my sessions and my weight maintained at a healthy level. All I can say is see someone and tell them what is going on. It isn't healthy to be binging, although how many calories are we talking, because a binge isn't 2000 calories. A binge is something that is over your highest maintainace level by a lot. I had to eat 2500 calories a day when I first started gaining, gradually building up from nothing, to 500, to 800, to 1000 etc. That meant I was having about 500 calories too many a day (although it wasn't too many as I had to gain weight), which was about 1lb of weight a week. If you are talking eating 3000-4000 calories a day then yes, maybe you are developing a problem. That will cause rapid weight gain and you will become depressed and probably end up eating even more. Please consider getting help. It is the body's natural response to eat lots, yes, but I found once I had been eating normally, that's to say 2000-2500 calories a day in regular healthy meals, I had no urge to binge or eat more. And I made sure I had healthy food, but I didn't deny myself biscuits and chocolate etc into my calories, as otherwise I probably would have gone on a binge! I understand it is more difficult in the holidays too, I used to find that.

If I had known just your height before looking at your pictures I would have said you were about 110lbs+ tbh. People thought I was 115 when I was more like 125, I guess some people just look smaller at higher weights. Honestly though, no, you don't look 95lbs, but you look fabulous anyway, much better than you did at 180. Don't worry about looking too thin, you look a healthy weight and just take it as a weird compliment lol! Maybe it was something you were wearing? Wear that outfit again! Lol!

I lost it just before christmas, then gained water weight eating lots on christmas day, but by yesterday it had all gone again. You will totally do it! I know, this last week and what with new year coming up! It is hellish if you are trying to diet. And we have so many goodies (or should they be called baddies!!) in the house! It is soo hard to resist, I might consider a jaw-wiring lol!!

The ones I have have are really quite small. This week I bought satsumas as they looked nicer than the clementines on offer and they are apparently lower in calories, CC puts them at 10 each?!

What you say about breaking out in spots is interesting too though! My skin has gone terrible recently and I thought it was just general undereating and being under the weather. Oh no, I hope it's not the clementines, I live off them at the moment!!

Uuuh, it's real hard to say, I can't really remember what I used to have really as this was 2-3 years ago. But say I'd have porridge or cereal with milk for breakfast, a snack would sometimes be a couple of egg whites and veggies, but not always. Lunch would be a wrap with like chicken in or tofu or beans, or a bean or lentil soup, or some cheese and bread. Dinner would be what my parents were having, so definitely some form of meat, lots of fish and chicken though. Quite a bit really I guess, considering before I wouldn't eat anything at all.

I ate more fat, I had to eat like 3000 a day so that I would gain weight, but I started out about 1200-1400 and that's when I really noticed the hair stopped falling out. I ate a lot more fat, but of course I was eating a lot more protein too, so I don't know which would have been helping more. And cos I was IP eventually I had to have loads of really fattening things like sponge cake and custard and chips (american fries lol) and all sorts. Out of IP I still ended up eating loads of chocolate at first, that stopped me from binging though which was good and meant my weight was able to stabalise and not go crazy and I didn't become a binge eater.

I second both garlic powder and the soy sauce, they are both amazing. I also like mustard on my veggies, but I know a lot of people don't like it.

My hair went very thin buut as soon as I was eating enough calories a day it stopped falling out. However, it took as long as hair grows for it to grow back, so we are talking like 6 months at least of eating before it got some volume back. The hairdresser was like wow you have a lot of new growth, I've never seen this much all at once to me.
