wow! i didnt know if anyone would actually take up this thread. cool beans.

Well, ive been doing intuitive eating since I last posted, but im still obsessing over calories, fear of gaining weight? which I actually did.. now im at about 128, I think, and its uncomfortable ( but i think its because im not eating enough protien)? but the freedom to eat pop tarts feels pretty good too!

I just want to say to everyone, don?t give up!  This will be so worth it in the end! Especially if this can feel natural by the holidays... a guilt free non stuffed thankgiving would be amazing.

Trust your body, it usually tends to know what its doing. best wishes for everyone!!

When I had an eating disorder and obsessed about the calories in chewing gum and leafs of lettuce, which was miserable, my nutritionalist and my therapist reccommended this book for me... it was so great. its called intuitive eating, and its all about how to lose weight or maintain weight without dieting or calorie counting.
maybe it could help you?

Yes! try to eat when you are hungry.. then stop when you feel full...
or try this recipe!
Got it from hungry-girl...

Ingredients:
2/3 cup uncooked oatmeal (not instant)
1/3 cup Bisquick Heart Smart Baking Mix
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. Smart Balance 37% Light Buttery Spread
1/3 cup light vanilla soymilk
3/4 cup blueberries
Directions:

Set oven to 400 degrees. Mix first 6 ingredients in a bowl. Fold in berries. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and form 4 mounds of batter on sheet (leave room in between 'em -- they expand!). Bake for 10 minutes. Makes 4 large scones.
