I wondered about the size thing but, a site i looked at said you should buy one with the dogs adult size in mind and block off the crate so it doesn't have the room to pee on one side and sleep on the other...

Can someone clear this up for me?

When in your opinion should someone start thinking about sex??

I get that in america the age of consent is usually 18 but why is that???? what has that been based on?

cat's come into heat around 6 months old....thats when people think of them as sexually active and what not.

People the age that they start their period is what around 13? So why is it not normal to think about having sex at that age?? I mean the whole point of sex it to reproduce is it not?? Periods are a sign our bodies are ready to have babies so whats wrong with our minds??

I just don't get it.

Over here they tried to tell rape victims who were drunk at the time of the attack they couldn't get as much compensation as sober victims because basicaly because alcohol consumption could be seen as a contributing factor to the rape.....

I'm an optimist well... i was... this year has been the toughest of my life and i'm beginning to think it's going to stay this way and nothing is ever going to get better! Every time any cloud gets a bit of a silver lining. Something else goes wrong. I'm beginning to dread things going right beause it only means something bad is around the corner!

Bring on '09 new year. new luck... i hope....

I can't take much more of this.

The Lounge College Presidents ask for debate on drinking age - 18 or 21 - make the case Aug 29 2008
23:48 (UTC)
"Oh dear my jaw just dropped. 14 or 15?? So you're saying by lowering the drinking age, we're also lowering the age at which teens start drinking despite the law...and that's your argument?!"

My arguement is whatever the drinking age is people under that age will ALWAYS drink. always. so if the drinking age is 18 kids around the age of 14 and 15 will start to experiment with drink. The way i see it, the sooner they get that out of their system and become a sensible drinker the better. They keep their childish drinking  behaviour out of bars and they DONT drink and drive because they can't. Surely we ALL know that the noveltly of drinking wears off and i'd rather people got that out of their system before they could drive... I sure as hell don't know anyone who drinks anywhere near as much as they did before they were 18.

There must be some doubt in your mind though if you're still undecided ? I knew the minute we first discussed living together it was the right thing for us. What's your other half said about the situation??

we moved in together after a year and a half. But started discussing it after about 6 months. We delayed so long due to money and other life issues, but in a way i'm glad. Our relationship has grown and feel more comftable now than i think i would of had we moved in earlier... but i dunno. i know i may be young but i've made the completely right choice.

It doesn't really matter if the drinking age is 18 or 21, if someone wants to drink they're gonna get hold of alcohol. It's really not hard. Drugs are illegal but still not difficult to get hold of.

The earlier you start drinking the sooner the novelty wears off and the sooner you become a sensible drinker. Where i live the legal age is 18 therefore people first started drinking at around the age of 14 and 15, when they can't drive, so can't drink drive and kill anyone. By the time they get to 17 and can drive drinking isn't new, it's not such a novelty, alot of people will have learnt their limits in terms of when to stop drinking and also learnt that drinking and driving realy isn't worth it.

The most important thing to remember is to not stop living your own life just because your other half isn't living so close any more. Trust me. Make the most of being in a great relationship and still having the freedom to experience things at the same time.

He's out there meeting new people and doing new things. make sure you do exactly the same, you'll have a lot more time on your hands now, why not take up a hobby you've always wanted to try?

I've been in the a long distance relationship and a big part of keeping it alive was to try new hobbies etc and the excitement of telling my ex what i got up to and the other way round. and then introducing him to what i liked.

I always make eye contact and say hello when i pass people in the street where i live. I wouldn't say hello so much in the city, but here in the country everyone does it.

How could i forget Country Pubs! fireplaces, great food, ale, friendly people. That is the ultimate of British for me.
