Hi Megs, welcome!!! :) Bad week- made lasagna for BF but I kept sneaking pieces of it. I couldn't get enough of the spaghetti sauce! I usually make my own sauce and smoosh it up with a masher but this time, I decided to try it in a blender and it tasted/looked so much better! Despite the lasagna, weigh is 220.4. I'm leaving this Saturday for AZ to be with family (YAYYYY) and won't be back until December 1st. Will come on this thread whenever I can. Until then, happy SBD'ing and water, water, water!!!! xo |

Seriously, flashdance? Don't get all butthurt just because she told you what you needed to hear.... I thought Jane's post was spot on and HELPFUL! I guess you are one of those posters who only want to hear what they want. (Now that was RUDE and unhelpful.) Because you lost that 20lbs, you were underweight by being at 100lbs and 5'3 and your symptoms of hair falling out, coldness, etc is proof of that. It will take a while for your body to get back to normal as long as you keep GAINING (7lbs sounds healthy.) Seriously, I'd keep gaining because you are at the very low end of the ideal weight for a 5'3 woman. |

| Foods | Popcorn vs. Corn = Water Retention | Nov 17 2009 11:34 (UTC) |

Don't know if it's the corn/popcorn but you should know that we flucutate in weight every day... I was 226 on Saturday (after a night of drinking) then 222 on Sunday. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless the 1.25lb stays on for another week. PS when you eat low, your body usually bloats trying to save everything since it isn't being nutured properly. Try it again with a higher calorie consumption (1500 or more like they told you on the other thread) and see what happens. I'd also drink a lot more water. |

AFAB (afluffyadorablebunny)- Kbella certainly wasn't attacking you- just explaining to the rude first post about where you are from and how the men are there. I do remember you mentioning it in another thread. You definitely know you are more than "just a vagina" and men like that are scum. You are better than them so their words should not matter at all. PS the next time it happens, ignore them and don't show them that they got to you! ;) Keep your chin up and let the words fall on deaf ears. |

What, the 19 year old couldn't find any woman closer to his age??... Jeez... Like Ali- not surprised, especially after that story on the Dugard girl with the 2 children. I guess, at least in the OP's case, it wasn't forcible rape... not that it makes it heaps better but ya know... |

Growing up, I hated my family's stuffing- either too mushy/soggy, too dry and the taste, ick!!! No dressing as far as I know. I only like my BF's grandma's stuffing- yummy! Her stuffing had onions, celery and some other stuff with apple juice, not sure? Never bothered to ask since making stuffing doesn't appeal to me. :) Your hubby's stuffing sounds soo good with apples and sausage, mmm! |

| Calorie Count | Customize Food Log? | Nov 16 2009 13:38 (UTC) |

As for the columns, I don't know... eh. But the second part- You can actually track the totals of sodium, fat, saturated fat, fiber, cholesterol, and sugar by clicking on Analysis (can be found in between Weight Log and Tagged Items, 3rd tab right from Food Log) while you are looking at your food log. You can also see your weekly totals by setting the food log in between 2 specific dates then click on Analysis. Example of 3 days from Nov 1st to Nov 3rd below: Nutrition ReportFat - 21% (104 grams) Protein - 22.1% (247 grams) Carbohydrates - 57% (639 grams) Alcohol - 0% Other - 0% Daily Calorie Intake - 1,446 cals Daily Sodium Intake - 2,895 mg Daily Sugar Intake - 90 grams Daily Cholesterol Intake - 179 mg Daily Saturated Fat Intake - 18 grams Daily Fiber Intake - 28 grams |

No, you're not being unreasonable but a lot of companies get away with things like that. Say a product that has 4 calories per serving is capable of getting away with saying their product has 0 calories. Sucks, huh? Really lame so that's why I stay MOSTLY away from processed things/items because I don't trust labels. |

Original Post by nanny317: Ick! Bit nervous because for another group weigh-in on Monday- I was 224! I nearly fainted, lol. Yes, I ate a bit more over the weekend but nothing out of the ordinary from past weekends, perhaps it caught up to me now?... At least I am back to exercising and I am eating more due to more activity so maybe I should just give my body some time to adjust? :) |

You can do a lot in one weekend but the weigh gain will come off afterwards. It is also bad food habits plus lack of activity for an extend period of time that can cause you to gain. Just think: moderation and weigh gain = more calories in - calories out so just keep it balanced. PS, do give yourself some leeway as far as weight goes. Good job on your loss and good luck maintaining! |

((cptbunny)) I thought the same as rosieblue when I first read your post- could be trying tough love to force you to deal with the bus. I second taking the bus with someone for a while to get used to it and actually 2.5 hours early doesn't sound so bad- you could spend time in the library, studying, etc. :) You CAN do it! |

Primarily use American Sign Language and read/write English. Can only write in German (not fluently, mind you!) after having studied it for 2 semesters. Like Kbella above, I can read/understand it well. Know some Spanish but would like to learn when I go back to school just for the heck of it. |

Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
You can lose weight despite eating the same food day-after-day as long as you eat fewer calories than you burn. In fact, eating the... Read more
