Sorry I've been MIA. We've been busy. I'll try to be better at keeping posted here.

I miss you ladies!!!!

This morning I am 189. Woo Hoo! I haven't been in the 180s for over 6 years...and only 4 more #s until my loss reaches 30# and my halfway mark.

Happy dance!

Now if I could only get clothes that fit right...ugh...

I went on the BMI link you posted and it still says I'm Obese class 1...oh well...

I like seeing that I'll graduate from that 'class' when I get under BMI of 30...and I'm at 31.1

I can cope with that. I started at 34.7.

Good job on saying NO to the Cheez-its. They are so good and SO BAD. and also for ditching the brownies...I haven't been eating much sweets lately, but the salty snacks have been my bane...

How's everyone?

Sorry I haven't been very active on here. I'm trying to be good and not be online so much.

This morning my hubby weighed himself and for the first time probably ever he weighs more than me! By 10#, too! haha and yay for me!

Hopefully I'll do better with my goals this week.

A) Take 3 evening walks with the kids.

B) I have lost 20# and after the last little bit my perpetual double chin has gone away. It's still shows up sometimes, but it's not a constant presence. I am not camera-shy, but for the last year or so I've seen some really awful pictures of myself...I just looked haggard and old and F-A-T!  The more recent ones have looked just normal...just me...YAY! The best moment was when my husband noticed after he took a picture of me and our daughter during her B-Day party (see my profile pic). He can *sometimes* be rather negative so him saying that was an extra-special boost for me.

And my name is Faith  ;}    (edit: haha I just noticed my name's already up there)

Hello lovely mothers!

I haven't done so well this week...my goals went to pot pretty quickly. Oh well, if at first (+++) you don't succeed...

I'm also rather PMS-y and the scale is showing me that. After my lady-time is over I will set a new round of goals. I just give myself a mini break during because I'm super hungry and grumpy...and by 'mini break' I mean I allow a bit more junk, but I don't go overboard with it.

I did it!!!!!!!

I will check in for that last updates and then I'll be afk as well while we move our stuff. I hope to jump back in for BL13 and hoping to sign in there at 185. Really hoping that our move and the work involved in that speeds the process up. I'm glad that it's Summer and I can be outdoors more. And our new home has a garage so I'll be able to set up a little workout area there. Hubby said he'd even begin lifting weights, too. That'd be sweet!

Awesome effort everyone! Thanks for sticking through these 8 weeks.

And cheers to the group losers for last week and to all of us for getting overall team loss! You rock!!!!

Woo Hoo! I did it!!!!!!!!! Total loss for this challenge: 10 pounds. Total loss for this year: 20 pounds. I am so happy and now I have 'only' 35 pounds to go!

I won't be joining in on the next BL due to our impending move, but I hope to get in on the following one. And I'm going to be working hard to show up for that one with another 10 pounds gone.

Thanks Katy for leading this round. Pat on the back to all those who have stuck through this to the end.

Will I? Can I? Is it possible for me to drop 2# by next Thursday? If I do it, I'll hit 10# down for this challenge AND my mini-goal of 20# lost...and maybe even justify buying some new clothes!

We are moving so life is going to get crazy for me for a while. I'm won't be on much and can't sign up for the next round of BL, but you all are awesome and so encouraging! Keep up the incredible work getting yourselves healthy!

LMAO @ "16 year old special"! I'll have what she's having. :)

I was a chubby adolescent as well. When I see pics of me in high school I think similar...."Why did I think I was so fat?"...but, while I'm aiming close to the weight I was back then, I really was overweight and chubby. I think that 150# for a 5'6"  15 year old girl is more weight than she should be...where 150 for that same lady in her 30s and after children is not too bad.  Just my perspective on it.

Glad I logged my BL weight yeasterday! Today I am 199! Still very happy about that!

Michelle, you are doing great! When we first 'met' you were at a plateau and you busted through that one and passed me months ago! You can do it!

I'm so sorry to hear about your doggy! We had to put down my son's lizard last week. It was pretty hard on all of us. We'd had him for 8 years...since my son was 6. He'd been part of our family longer than either of my other children!
