Thank you all SOOO much for all of your responses! I did it for a min yesterday and a min today just the reg plank and after about 20 secs I am already dying and my lower abs are pretty weak already today.... I guess that is a good thing :)

I have tried it for about 2 weeks and the only thing that it made smaller was my boobs! Don't waste your money, hope this helps! |

Hey just wanted to share... just found a new Kashi bar ,dark chocolate coconut I think? It is SOOOOOO yummy! Just like a mounds candy bar and only 7 grams of sugar! LOVE Kashi so much! |

butterfly, I am so sorry my participants all have the DVD. however I do know that my local library (which is in a very small town) actually had the same one we use that you could check out. If they don't have the tape maybe you could ask them to buy the dvd for their collection and then maybe find a used dvd player at a garage sale or goodwill. I just saw one the other day for 10 dollars at a garage sale by my mothers house. Anyway, good luck to you!!! I know that you will enjoy tai-chi it is a wonderful thing in my life!

hi everyone! I am so glad to hear that you all are intrested in Tai Chi! I am actually a certified tai chi for arthritis instructor. I work at my local senior center and teach 3 beginning and 1 advanced Tai Chi for arthritis classes there. My seniors LOVE it!!! It is no impact and gives them such great strength training and balance. I don't only have seniors that come people as young as 20 have taken my class. I am 25 and teach it with a passion. I live in Missouri and teach several classes in my area but I am sure that you won't be able to make those :) so I will recommend a DVD that my class uses for practice and was made by the master trainer of the program Dr. Paul Lam. It is a great DVD, you can find it at Taichiproductions.com and the one that I love is the one for arthritis. There are lots of different forms, but this one seems easy enough to learn and still gives such great benefits!!! Hope you enjoy! |

does anyone have uncle wally's smart portion muffins at their wal mart or grocery store? mine use to have them then one day just like that ...gone! I love them! They have blueberry, bannana nut and chocolate brownies! They come in single serve packages and are the same size as you would make at home for 80 cals I think and 3 or 4 grams of fiber and protein each. You should try them if you can find them, and if you do please let me know where to get them!!!! I miss them so much, they are moist and sweet and convient without the sacrafice of high cals and fat they are only 1.5 grams of fat per muffin too!

hi, I just completed my 8th workout, i try to do every other day or 3 times a week. It still kills me and I alternate between 1 and 3 depending on my energy level. On my off days I do the elliptical some and it seems to be working for the most part. I know that it isn't hurting anything!!! I seem to try and actually keep my cals around 1400 or so and have been doing a decent job. The workout kicks my butt and it is great inspiration to watch my diet, I tell myself you are kicking your butt when your working out why would you want to mess up that progress by eating that ...cookie,brownie, whatever... so far I have done pretty good and even though I am not home right now and able to use my own scale i feel that I have lost a little or maybe just toned up a little my clothes seem to fit differently. Maybe its all in my head??? who knows but it is great motivation to keep on going!!!! Good luck to you all!!! |

hi everyone, I read this blog last week and decided to buy it for myself. I have done level 1 2x's and level 3 2x's I love it! It totally kicks my butt but I like that, I feel that I am actually getting a good workout in 20 mins and I can pick the workout that I want. I am really looking forward to seeing some results. Happy thanksgiving everyone! Well, as of this morning I was at 112.2 YAY!!!! However, it is thanksgiving today and I will be thrilled to just eat at maintance. I am not going to way again unitll sunday and I hope I am down a little more by then....we will see! Good luck to you all today! Amy |

Thanks, I have that one, i just started doing it religously about a week ago. How long are the dvd's? I am kinda lazy quite honestly and i know that I won't do them if they are terribly long ;) However if I saw results like you said that might actually be enough motivation to keeping me going! Please let me know if you would how long each dvd is and if there is more than 1.

Thank you both for the great info! The online stuff I got said to do it every other day, is every day ok? Do you do it really slow? I have a hard time making just those 7 moves last for 10 mins like it suppose to. I would love to buy the dvd, how much long is it? How about you cellulite? I don;t have a ton but quiet a bit for my size, I hope that this works for that!!!

Hello!
Well,I did great eating sat and sun and then this morning....aaaaaaaaah I work at a senior center and there are a ton of homeade delcious goodies around there now that are so hard to pass up. I ended up eating 15 doughnut holes just to get on here and realize that they are 52 cals a peice!!!! OUCh! Anyway, I am headed to the elliptical now to try and salvage my morning food weakness! I plan on weighing in on wednesday, right?

| I feel your pain! I have tried to give up sweets so many times I have lost count :).My new favorite snack that taste sinfull but isn't at all is "healthier apple crisp" you can really do it with any fruit...I also like blackberries, you dice up 1/2 apple and microwave it for 1 min then in a seperate bowl mix 1/4 cup no sugar added instant oatmeal,( however my fav is maple and brown sugar) and a dash of 0 cal butter spray. Microwave that for about 20 sec and then crumble on top of your warm fruit then, my fave part add 1/2 breyers fat free vanilla! It it so sinfully delicious and it goes along way, if you want it to go further with just a few extra cals dice up the whole apple!
Also, if you do use apple I suggest a dash of apple pie spice on them as they cook.....YUMMY!! I usually prefer chocolate but this one gets me by and I feel like I am still somewhat on track. The whole apple is 60 cals, my oatmeal is 45 or so I think and the ice cream is 90 so that is not bad at all for a VERY fillling desert with the whole apple! Hope you enjoy! |

| I know exactly what you mean! I had lost 10 pounds and was happier than ever with myself then I went through a divorce and gave myself permission to eat what I wanted,mistake! I got back down again by cc and then the 4th of July hit I ate bad all weekend and haven't stopped since.... I tell myself everyday that I am going to eat good today but it seems I have lost ALL self control. I have but back on 7 on the pounds that I lost and I am SOOOOOOOOO frustrated. I am glad I am not alone but I can tell you from being there, stop now, you will regret it late. Maybe is someone would have told me to stop overating I would not be where I am at right now! | Mine "rival" guess you could say is my sister in law.( we have always been competitive you could say, I guess I took her baby brother away wah wah) Anyway, SHe is almost 33 with 3 kids under the age of 9, 5'3 and maybe???? 105 pounds! It makes me sick, she and my husband eat whatever they want and not gain a poud( it makes me sick). Must be nice to have supercharger metablolism . She has no hips at all and I am "curvier" than her in that area, no boobs tho :( so I know that I will never...ever "look" as thin as she is! Oh well, I try to avoid her :).
