Foods Regular or Sweet Potato "fries" or "chips"? Jan 23 2008

My husband and I have been trying for weeks to master sweet potato fries. The biggest difference that I found was not overcrowding the pan when you bake them. I actually set them all out so that they don't touch. Good luck!

Do open faced--you'll get half of the bread calories and only need to use half of the PB you would use on a whole sandwich.

I took yoga in college and there were only a couple of guys in the class. Now I'm taking a yoga class at a studio and I'd say it's 30%+ guys. Most of them wear comfy sweat pants and a fitted t-shirt. Yoga requires incredible strength and discipline. How is that not for men?

I love chicken, so I'm so excited to read all of these recipe ideas!

One thing that I do is throw a couple of chicken breasts in the crockpot all day covered in salsa and black beans and then shred it when I get home. I then add the mixture to lettuce and and vegetables and make a moist, healthy taco salad.

Fasting is actually part of my religion. I fast for 24 hours once a month. It's really not bad; especially if you focus on meditation. It can be a very calming, empowering experience.

I'd say go for it! I spent one summer as a couselor at a boy scout camp on Catalina Island and it was the best summer of my life! The pay was crappy and it's true that you have very little control over your food, but it was an amazing experience. It was great to spend a summer helping kids, hiking, swimming, and making friends. The outdoors was a great change of scenery from the office! Sometimes it's just nice to leave everything else behind.
