| Your friend should at least have something in his stomach before he starts pounding those beers. I learned that you pack those extra pounds with what you eat after you've been drinking, which in most cases, is what people do. I eat before I drink and not one thing after, and I haven't gained a pound off of beer. In other words; there's no such thing as a beer belly. |

| I eat a 10 pack of those snack size butterfingers in about 3 days. Hooray for the 99 cent store. I didn't even realize this was in a weight gain forum. I havent gained any weight with eating chocolate, and I've been doing most of this year now. If anything, I'm losing weight cus of the intense skateboarding I do everyday. I gotta say though; chocolate was the only thing I was not able to give up when I was actually worrying about what I ate. |

| Not to sound like a jer or anything, but do you really need to know the EXACT amount of calories in a chicken breast? Most of the stuff here is off either way but only by a couple of calories. You're gonna turn into a counting calorie freak and you'll screw yourself up somehow along that road. |

| I went from 240 pounds back in September 2007 to 148 as of right now. The fitness forum is the only thing that helped me out of this website. I did the whole counting calories, deficit, eating healthy thing the first 6 months and I didn't like it. I stopped counting calories and focused more on my exercises which consist of competitive racquetball, skateboarding, HIIT running, and weight lifting, and I have to say that it worked. Now I'm doing those things out of enjoyment. Check out the pictures in my profile if u want horrific images | |||

| You should get into racquetball. That's gotta be the most exhausting game I've ever played when played with good competition. I turned that and skateboarding into my cardio, and with a good diet, I lost mad weight. You'll probably like the game since your competitive. I certaintly did | |||

You forgot to mention that Tegan and Sara are extremely hot, too. Tisk Tisk Tisk... Well, my soundtrack to the gym mostly consists of Joy Division. For some reason, that dark gloomy sound gets me more concentrated into the workouts, and I get less distractions as well. Iono, Im weird like that. |

| I still have my clothes from over a year ago when I used to weigh in at 240. I was a size 40 then and they would fit me tight, and now I'm a size 30. I should be in a Subway commercial even though I hate Subway. That energy is a good way to track if your getting healthy. I noticed in myself that I'm not sitting down or sleeping as much as i used to because I'd be too tired from doing nothing. It feels great, doesn't it? |

| uh....I gotta say all of my moms cooking. She would always deep fry EVERYTHING she cooked, and it was all unhealthy. She tried pulling guilt trips on me because I make my own foods now, well have been for some time now. | |||

| I've lost 92 pounds in the 9 months that I've been doing this. I freak out whenever I try my old clothes on, and everytime I look at old pictures of myself. It feels good going from 240 pounds to 148 pounds :) |

| Don't worry so much about how much food you consume, or how many calories you burn per day. Whenever I did that, my weight would go up a lot. You should just think of ways to be more active throughout the day and other ways to not give into those fatty foods. It's worked for me... I'm 5'8 20yr male who went from 240pounds to 148 pounds in 9 months. :) | |||

| Besides having burgers for breakfast lunch and dinner throughout my intermediate and the first half of my high school life, I'd pig out on peanut butter m&m's. I stopped with the burgers, but I couldn't let go of those m&m's! I haven't gained a pound of the 77 that I've lost since I figured out how to limit myself with foods. |

| 24 Hour Fitness is where I work out. Even though it sucks going between 5pm-8pm since its always full. I was never able to work out alone. Boredum kills me LIKE THAT! I have a habit of looking at the person next to me doing the same thing and I'll raise the stats to out do the person. It gets wild after they raise theirs even more. lol I'm dumb like that, but its damn good motivation. | |||

| Sorry you had to go through that. We're both wearing the same shoes because I too went through a 3 year break-up with my girlfriend. She told me the same things your ex said to you. The crappy thing is that it was all **** reasons to break up with me so she would go out with another person. The worst was when she said that she still loved me and all that she would never lose me as a friend and now she makes no effort like the ones I've made to keep at least a decent friendship. It gets to me around this time since it would of been our 4 year anniversary 2 weeks ago. | |||
