Well I have decided to do my weekly weigh in's on Tuesday nights.  Tuesdays because I started CC on a Tuesday, and at night, well I guess just so mrning weights don't bring me down so much.  They are a less, and then eating throughout the day makes them higher, so I will go with the higher one for now.  I know when I get to a platuea I will probably be wanting to use the morning way though..hahaha...Anyway here it is:

Starting weight on 9/4/07: 265

Today's weight 9/18/07: 249

Total pounds lost: 16 YAY!

I will try to remember to do the measurements this week because I have never done those before. 

Oh and I LOVE the new name!

Wow I have been so busy at work the last few days I didn't have a chance to stop by the boards (but I made sure to post my calories really quick because I don't want to get behind and forget something).  Good news though.  I got a promotion!  I'm now a supervisor.  YAY!

Krysties4I love your motto!  I had actually ordered a recumbent (sp?) bike at the end of August and it was supposed to be in by the time I started on here, but it still isn't in! Grr..I just found out today that they had the wrong phone number so they couldn't schedule a delivery.  Everything is sorted out now so hopefully I should get it Monday or Tuesday and then I'll be going at it!  I do have a treadmill, but I need to get it fixed because my dog dropped a huge rock on it while someone was running on it and let me tell you that is not a good combo!  The mat just twisted all over itself and is stuck now.  $1000 treadmill broken by a dog with a rock problem..haha...  I do have a few workout DVD's but I had injured my knee one time and now when I try to do most of the DVDs that have leg kicks and a lot of knee being stuff my knee just pops like crazy.  It doesn't hurt but I don't want to risk hurting it.  Surprisingly running and bike riding is fine on it, it is just weird movements that bother it.

Oh another breakthrough.  I found 40 calorie bread today!  That cuts bread calories in more than half for me!  (I hope it tastes ok) I also found veggie hot dogs with only 45 calories instead of the 75 calorie ones I was eating.  I wish being a vegetarian automatically made you skinny, but let me tel you I've been one for 9 years now and it sure doesn't!  haha.

Congratulations to everyone on all the water drinking and weight loss!  You are all such an inspiration! Sorry for the long post but I have one more thing.  Here is a quote I found that I really liked and wanted to share with everyone:

Thank you all!  And congratulations to ajjciir, vicki, and eveyone else for their weight loss too!  Everyone here is just so remarkable!  I love coming on here when I feel I may be tempted to cheat because reading all of these inpirational messages and seeing how supportive everyone is just makes all those feelings go away.  Here's to another week of healthy eating, happy hearts, and mouthfulls of water!

Well I know I originally said that I was trying to wait a month to weigh myself, but I broke down and just weighed myself anyway.  I figure it is better to track it at least week to week anyway that way I know when thing aren't working for my body.  I am down 9 pounds though!  I'm sure it is probably water weight, but weight is weight! haha  So now I'm all for a weekly weigh in.  Haven't seen many other opinions about it so I was just wondering if there has been an outcome to it yet??

I love the mini challenge idea!  A little friendly competition always makes you work harder! 

The whole when to weigh in thing- I'm personally trying to wait a month to weigh myself this first month because I always get into the habit of weighing myself everytime I go in the bathroom and so I"m trying to break that and just concentrate on what I eat, not how much I'm loosing.  If everyone else wants to update once a week though I have no problem with it and I can do it, not a big deal.

  2. Highest Weight EVER:  277
  3. Mini-Goals: 1st Goal Weight:  239- dont' know why..just havn't been in the 230's in a while :)
  4. ULTIMATE Goal Weight:  160??? I don't know what my ideal weight will be until I get there.  I by no means want to be stick skinny, but I want to feel comfortable again.
  5. Plan:  Stick to it!! Cut down on bad carbs.  Water Water Water!

Thank you guys for the ideas!  I agree that I don't think my body is telling me "eat fish".  Sometimes things just look good and it is your mind that is telling you "that looks good, you should try it" I just have to have a resonable alternative that isn't going to compramise my morals.  I just got a southern cooking vegetarian style cookbook and it has a recipe for fish in it so I will try that, assuming I can find all the ingredients, and let you all know how it went.
