Weight Loss Any results with the Biggest Loser 30 Day Jump Start program? Oct 02 2009

I know you posted in March but how did it work out for you?  This is my first week and I am trying.  I have adjusted a bit here and there but usually my calories are down not up.  I would love to hear how you did.  I am not following the exercise just the diet.  I can do more aggressive excersies the what they have in their but I feel like the diet is a good starting point.  Let me know how your results were.

not that you would be able to tell on me now...but if you stick to it it does work.  I could not believe how I looked after doing for two weeks (I did take a couple days off I didn't do it straight).  It's a tought work out so you definetly have to be in shape prior to doing it but it is fun and worth trying if your down to that point that you want to start toning your body.

I always buy my bras from Victoria seceret and they are always the ones that measure me.  I guess I just felt concerned because it seems like everyone on here talks about how their boobs got smaller as soon as they start losing weight.  Thanks for making me feel better about it.  I am glad to hear it's not just me. :)

thanks for the advice...I did join Jillian's online program before and that is when I lost a majority of my weight.  I read a lot of reviews about the 30 day shred before I went about buying it...almost all the reviews were fabu so i went for it.  I have been doing it for 5 days and have seen my endurance improve everyday...I am only at level one I can't wait to see how the next two levels are.  I am not seeing much improvement yet in my body but it is my period week and I haven't been eating right but tomorrow I am going to start watching what I am eating again and hopefully with all the elements I can reach what I have been aiming for for months.

Games & Challenges Pick a Goal to Reach by Passover.... Apr 17 2008

Well...My husband and I are leaving tonight so I had to weigh in this morning instead of tomorrow morning.  I am a little disappointed in myself.  I was only down a half pound this week.  I know it's some loss but I know I could  have been better.  I just was so busy the past week.  Getting ready for this trip and passover all together plus I've been working a lot.  I really can't wait for this day to be over.  Anyways...I hope you have more sucess then I did.  Hopefully since I really don't care for matza that much I will lose some weight during passover since I pretty much just eat veggies and fruit the whole week.  Good luck and Happy Passover.

Lemon zest is not quite as strong as lemon grass.  Be sure if you do find the lemon grass that you chop it up really small unless it is strained out of the sauce.  Just be careful.  It souunds fantastic.

I get most of my clothes from Ross.  I buy jeans for 10 bucks and think that it's not too much for jeans and I won't spend more then that.  I also buy off of clerance racks.  Shirts are always nice off of the clearance rack and you can usually find them under $5.  Good luck with the rest of your weight loss.

So I weighed in this morning and good news...I am down to 151lbs.  I am super excited.  And hope that the trend keeps up this week.  I hope I can lose some more by the time passover rolls around.  I am sure that I won't reach my goal but I am hoping that I will be closer.  How did you do this week?

Alright so I wake up disapointed this morning...I weighed in and lo and behold no progress.  I am still at 155.  I have a feeling that part of it's because it's that time of the month.  I have felt like I have been doing really well this week but maybe I am not doing as well as I thought.  Oh well...better luck next week.  How did you do?  Let me know how your measurements turn out.

So even though no one wanted to do this for me I guess that if I at least do it myself maybe I can stay motivated.  So I weighed in today.  I was 155 so my 10lbs is defiently the goal for August 17th.  I hope people want to join in but if not I will keep weighing in and see what happens :).

Hey! I would love to be a motivator for you as I lost mine recently and really need a new one. I was emailing with a girl back and forth almost everyday. But she just stopped emailing and I don't know what happened. I have gone down hill in my weight loss since. I only have 10lbs or so to lose but would still be behind you in your weight loss even if I had achieved what I had wanted. Please feel free to message me anytime. I am happy your ready for reaching your goal. I hope we can become good friends.
Weight Loss Jillian Michaels Web site and online program??? Mar 27 2008

Your welcome...I did it for three months. I have to say at first it was tough...as anything is because of making something a routine. But once you get started it's easy to keep up with. Even with my stepson here it didn't get in my way to use it. Plus pretty much everything I made him and my husband both loved as far as the food went. I had a bit of trouble at the end only because of my wedding. I was so busy dealing with that that the website took the back burner. I still used it but not as much as I did for the first couple of months. I really can't help but praise this website. I really did lose about 20lbs on it and I have keeped it off. I am having trouble with my last little bit and have been exploring different things to try and get it off but please ask any other questions you have.

Hi Robin! I used it with a lot of sucess. I really wish I could afford to do it again. I think it would help with this last little bit I have left. I don't know about the other stuff but on her site she gives you workouts, menus (which you can change if you don't like what you get for that day), and a support community. I lost a majority of my weight when I was on this program. The workouts can be tough but it does get results. You usually have 2 days of rest one or two days of cardio and 3-4 days of strength training. The recipes are actually pretty good. My step-son actually loves one of them and I had to put it in my normal reputar of food. I hope this helps your decision. I know it's different for everyone but it definetly worked well for me.

Another thought is doing some weight training along with your cardio.  Cardio is fantastic to lose weight but if you start weight training as well it definetly helps.  Also...how is your fiber intake?  If you look at your analysis it will tell you how much fiber your taking in.  You should have at least 24 grams a day.  I just started watching mine again.  I bloated up the first couple days but now am doing much better and am losing again.  Just take those things into considerationg.

Hi Christa...I know how your feeling...I didn't relize how much weight I had gained when I moved in with my husband (before we were married).  I am a cook by profession.  It sucks to be around food that much and not be able to just eat it.  You have to find a strength from the inside to say no.  It's a tough thing to do.  I'm not strong enough everyday.  We all have bad ones.  I have found that doing this zig zag thing is nice to do.  You have a different amount of calories everyday.  If you really need to have whatever you wanted to have that was high calorie wait until you have a higher calorie day planned.  Another way is to have a free day once a week.  I was watching the biggest loser last night and they say that they get a free day once a week after their weigh ins.  I mean you have to be able to have some lee way.  Or if you have to have something like french fries just have a couple and then say okay now I have satisfied the fact i have to have this and I don't need anymore.  You just have to stay positive and know once you get your weight down you will be so much happier, healthier and positiveall around.  I hope I have been helpful.

Hey I am in the same boat.  I would like to be down to my 145 goal by the time we leave for Passover coming up in April.  I had a major fall back the last couple of weeks and now am back in the game.  I worked out hard the end of last week and am working on it this week.  I was up until last night and this morning.  I have been incorporating a lot of fiber (well actually the amount you should have at least lol).  I bloated up the first few days.  Yesterday morning I got on the scale and I was 155...that night figuring I would be at least the same or higher I was actually down to 154.  Then I got on this morning and I was down to 153.  I know alot of it was just bloating up from my body getting use to having the fiber again.  I hadn't been paying too close attention to it lately.  Try out watching your fiber intake.  Your suppose to have 24 grams a day.  If you are logging your food you can check your fiber intake from you analysis page.  I wish you luck and hope we both reach our goals.  :)

Hi to all...I posted something about this in recipes but haven't heard anything...I am thinking about passover...It's coming sooner then any of us think lol.  I know last year I had a tough time finding things to eat during this time of year.  And this year we are traveling by car for a twelve hour trip during the week.  Anything anyone can suggest besides the obvious would be great.  Eating healthing is tough for me during this time.

I have lost 30 pounds and to me I can tell but I can barely tell.  I know that I have and other people notice but the only thing I knew is that I had to buy new clothes.  None of mine fit anymore.  But I guess it's one of those things that until you see what you want to see on the scale.  I guess I will see.  10lbs to go so we will see how I feel at that point :).  Good luck and I hope that you get what you want out of this site.

I know it's tough...I did buy some...thin mints aren't so bad.  150 calories for 4 cookies.  I know thats not a lot but for a small snack it's fine.  I only really like the thin mints so it's not so bad for me.  I do like the idea of donating though.

Matzo is pretty difficult to get right from what I hear.  It's easier to buy the ones at the store.  It can be used for passover of anytime of year.  The stuff for passover has to say on the box kosher for passover.  As far as a recipe goes...your probably s.o.l.  on the oil because it has to be used with meat or milk products.  Plus thats how it's traditionally made.  You could try doing just water but probably wouldn't turn out the same.
