Watever the book, the seminar, the magazine, the advice.  Never take anything too seriously.  Go with how you feel (energy levels).

I havent eaten red meat in over 10 years.  The only thing I've noticed is that it took my muscle away!!!

I've never given up on chicken, fish and shellfish however.  I have to substitute alot with vegetable proteins and soya...which dosen't have such a gastronomic taste I must add.

Be healthy conscious on your own...you know what is reight and good for you.

Skinny Bitch or French Women don't get fat = starvation mode dieting...which will make you gain body fat....but sure...you'll lose pounds......precious muscle that is.

lowest: 80lbs... way too skinny/sickly

happiest: now - I don't weigh myself anymore...I just go with my energy feeling

current: 92lbs @ ? % body fat - I do cycle everyday to and from work (= 60 minutes @ 20kms/hr avg) (This is my regular weight as far back as I can remember...since the age of 15...it goes from 92lbsto 96lbs)

Weight Loss Proteine shakes... helps to lose weight? Jul 12 2008

These shakes can have loads of hidden sugar.  Be sure to check the nutritional labels!!!  Whey protein is usually not that high in sugar...but really, sugar is in everything!!! SUCKS! Sugar (refined = body fat % to go up)

When I used to build, my personal trainer used to tell me to consume within 1 hour after my 1 hour weighlifting routine. RESULTS: build muscle mass, reduce appearance of body fat by replacing the "room" with muscle. It gives the illusion of an extremely lean body however if you want to lose body fat...turn up the heat -CARDIO, CARDIO, CARDIO!!!  NEVER GO TOO LOW ON YOUR BMI !!!  At one point I was an uhealthy 4%  Not good = cramping and other not so fun things.

It's great on a multi-grain flatbread!
