Ilovechai, I wish I was on day 37 without binging, but I'm counting backwards from 39 until my birthday. So today is day 36. Way to make it through the first two days. They're always the hardest.

Thank you Sharonclaire and bugsylover for the welcome. Guatemala is pretty exotic, and I'm loving it. The bad thing is that I don't get to see my best friend in USA, but I talk to her a lot.

Good job on your 30 days bugsylover. That's amazing.

So I am on day 37 if I make it through tonight which I'm pretty confident I will. Good luck everyone!

Wow, I haven't been on in a very long time. A lot has changed since I've last been here. I've moved to Guatemala, and I recently moved to a new community that I don't like. To add to my disliking here, there are no paths where I can go running so no exercise. Good thing is, we're moving back to where I like, and there is an exercise path. :) I'm hoping this will help my binging. I binged yesterday and 3 days before that, then 2 days before that. I was doing so well, but now I've fallen back in the binging episodes. I'm hoping this forum will help me once again.

My birthday is in a little over a month, and I want to not binge until my birthday and then past that. I want to be happy and not worrying about my weight on my birthday which is my sweet 16 :)

So today is day 39 until my birthday.

Good luck to everyone, and I look forward to getting to know you guys better.

Of course there are healthy fast food options. I mean sure it's not going to be as healthy as a home cooked meal, but it will be better then a burger and fries.

At McDonald's get the grilled asian chicken salad.

At Wendy's get the mandarin chicken salad.

At Burger King get the Tendergrill salad.

Hope you like salad :)

Thanks so much Hookem87. All of that was very motivational and helping.

I'm working on day 8! I've passed the one week mark. I did overeat some yesterday, but not a binge. I'll be okay. It's not going to ruin my mindset or progress.

On the brightside, I grew a half inch! Woo hoo! So now I'm 5'3.5. haha. Hey, I'll take whatever amount of height I can get.

Well good luck everyone!

Aw, that made me cry. I hate the thought of animals being hurt or dying. Makes me sad :(. I'm so sorry you had to put your cat to sleep.

I had a pug from 2001-2006, and she was only 5 when she went away. We came home one day, and she simply wasn't there. We don't know anything about what happened to her, so there was no closure. She was the sweetest and cutest thing in the world, and for her to just be taken from us like that was horrible. I just hope she's in a better place.

I currently have a 11 year border collie mix whose getting gray and getting those little spots on his elbows where the fur has worn away. Makes me sad to see him getting older. :(

Hey Devirm, welcome to this thread. Hey, at least it was only 1200 calories over. Always look on the brightside of things. Just think of how happy you are going to be on your birthday if you lose this weight. It always helps me to have something to work for or having something for motivation. good luck!

Great job on your no binge Faustic! Hey, don't stress too much about not going jogging. We all lose motivation every once in a while, heck I lose mine more often then never.

Hey Chicklette, how do you feel about binging 3 days in a row? Does it make you feel frustrated or guilty? Try and think about how you were feeling those 3 days, and today might be easier.

Hey Sharon, How are you doing? For some reason, I feel closest to you on here. You're an inspiration :)

So it's about 11am here, and I'm just starting day 7! yay! I did pretty well last night. I went out to a restaraunt and had ice cream and a slice of key lime pie. It fit into my daily calorie limits, so it was a great treat. And I came home and didn't eat the whole kitchen. I just went to my room. Normally, I would have eaten a lot when I got home. YAY! It feels great.

Good job on day 4 Sharon. That's great that you are controlling your triggers.

Faustic, good job on controlling a binge and not letting it get out of control.

Oh, and Alex AWESOME on day 14!!

So I'm working on day 6. It's only like 9 in the morning, so I really haven't started the day yet. It is so cold here, well like 60 degrees. But that is cold to me because I'm so used to hot weather. Oh well, it's a nice change for a few days. Well good luck everyone!

Hey Sharon, good luck combating your emotional trigger. You've gone pretty far without binging before, and you will definitely be able to again.

So today I'm working on day 5! It doesn't even feel like it's been that long. I'm feeling no pressure what so ever. I actually was out all day yesterday, and even had ice cream! Well actually, no sugar added chocolate frozen yogurt. Ha, but I seriously have no idea of my calorie count yesterday, and I'm not too worried because I don't think it was over my maintenance. Well good luck everyone!

Hey Elise, it's only 400 extra calories, don't sweat it too much. (:

Good job on not binging Faustic. Who knows, you may just have that willpower to not eat uncontrollably tomorrow. Think positive.

Anyways, I just got back from A Relay for Life race. I was there for about 3 hours dealing with the luminaries(sp?). I didn't sit down once, but it was just basically a bunch of standing. When I went, I was hoping I would be able to walk, but oh well. I'm just happy to volunteer.

Since I was there from 6-9, I haven't reached 1600 today. I don't think I'll be able to because I just ate a PB sandwich, cup of yogurt, and 2 cups of milk so my stomach hurts. I have about 1400 today, so it's not too bad.

Yeah, you're definitely right Sharon, we should all make an attempt to help each other out. So how is not counting days working for you? Seems interesting, but I don't know if I could do it because I like seeing the progress. Good luck though!

Good job Sas101 on day 14. If you're feeling upset and are about to binge, just think of all the progress you have so far and tell yourself it's not worth ruining it.

Audrey, I don't think any of us feel good when we binge. I guess the simplest thing to do would be to not buy the cake. I know it's hard to go to the grocery store and not buy what you really want to, but it will help you in the long run. Just getting through the first couple of days without binging always helps me.

Alanbates, that is some very helpful advice. Thanks!

Hey Shapes, all I can tell you is that tomorrow is a new day.

Elise, step away from the peanut butter. Go lock yourself in your room. Hope you did okay yesterday though. (:

Hey Faustic, that's good that you aren't going out on full blown binges everyday. You're at least controlling yourself somewhat.

Samesofam, good job on day 1!

Great job on day 10 Alex!

Bugsylover, good job on day 1. And I usually have stomachaches after binges, but that's pretty much it. I don't know the reason you feel that way. Sorry.

Crystar, yeah that amazing looking guy is definitely going to be some motivation for you.

So I'm working on day 1. Hopefully I'll be okay tonight. I'm thinking I should be. Just gotta keep myself busy.

Good luck everyone!

Okay, so I binged tonight. Not as bad as I usually do though, so I'm getting better. Uh, it's just so hard to get out of the mindset once you start. I'm so angry with myself. I probably only went over today by like 1000 calories, but it was different then yesterday because it was all consisting of candy. It's just that I get this saying in my head "oh you should just be a teenager and don't worry about everything." which leads to binging.

I just need to stop this once and for all. And today I met these two teenage girls, and they were skinny and I just feel so intimadated by people smaller then me. It's weird, and I'm always thinking that they are going to judge me because I'm not as small as them. Which most likely they aren't because hello kae, i'm not overweight. Grr, okay i'm done with this rant about myself.

I just need to get back on track tomorrow.

I do see something wrong with your diet. I really don't think you are eating enough. You still are a teen, almost an adult though, and teens still need more calories. Even if you were an adult, 1200 calories isn't enough for someone that works out as much as you. So try upping it a little. Maybe try something closer to 1500.

I used to binge a lot when I was only eating 1200 calories because I was starving my body of the nutrients it needed. Now I eat 1600-1800 and only binge like once a month. And yes, they are usually because I am bored or stressed.

If you try keeping yourself busy, that should help stop your binges. See I tend to binge at night because I'm just bored and looking for something to do.

Try keeping yourself busy, but not to the point where you are stressing yourself out. If you feel a binge coming on, go for a walk or something to keep your mind away from the potential binge.

Hope this helped, and good luck!

Okay, so I just ate 700 over my maintenance, but I'm going to chalk it up as overeating instead of binging. I ate relatively healthy stuff, so it doesn't qualify as a binge to me. So I'm done with day 4, working on day 5 now.

It just seems that boredom gets me at night. I'm really limited with what I can do for entertainment at night. I love reading, but it's really easy to eat when reading. I love coloring, getting on the internet, and watching movies, but those don't really keep me too entertained. And usually at night, I'm too lazy to do any form of exercise. Oh well. I'm going to bed now. Good night all.

Ha, if I knew how to tell the difference, I wouldn't be here right now. To tell you the truth, I kind of want to eat right now too, but I think it's just because I'm bored. Like is your stomach physically growling or is your stomach starting to hurt? If so, ha then you are definitely hungry. Eating something small won't harm you though.

If you're really hungry, then I think you should definitely eat something. Have a small salad or something light and filling. It won't ruin your progress.

Oh, and Elise_m, don't stress about couple a couple hundred calories over your maintenance. Tomorrow is a new day.

Anyways, my day was pretty good. Danced for 35 minutes and did 2 ab workouts. I can't wait till I can go swimming and lift weights again though. Hopefully it will be soon. Oh, and I forgot to tell everyone that I got back home last Friday, so I don't have to deal with all the family eating and stuff. Well good luck everyone!

Don't want to diet? Don't do it. Change your lifestyle. Change your eating habits for the better, but still incorporate your favorite foods into your new healthy lifestyle. Want to eat more? Exercise more. Love your new lifestyle. You're not only changing the way you look, but your changing the way you feel about yourself and your health.

Oh, and my mom used to be a size 2 even after she had both my sister and I. I guess she just had a really high metabolism. But then she had to get her thyroid destroyed, and she gained like 20 pounds. Not overweight, but not as skinny as she used to be.
