Hey Girls! F-U-N Girl here in Louisiana... I am 23 will be in 24 in March. I am trying to lose 50 lbs by the summer! I  desperatley need as many friends to keep me motivated! God I wish I lived up North. I think I am the only person from the South on here...

I know it isn't reporting time yet... but .. I think I should have aimed for more, perhaps.. I am been drinking 80-120 oz per day.. Really averaging about 100. Do I stay in my 72 oz goal or do I move up to 100 oz?

I only work out at home. I have slim in 6, the firm, tae-bo boot camp, windsor pilates, the gliding disc one, and a few others i can't think of the names of :) I really don't do any of them :( If I had my own house with my spare room I would be a little more into doing the video workouts, but right now I am staying with my in-laws while we try to find a house. I am addicted to my elliptical and ab lounge. I like to put my ipod in my ear and go at it. It destresses me.I just started back on it and am doing 25-30 minutes on the elliptical and 1-2 sets of 15 ea (about 5 exercises) on my ab lounge. Do I need to change up?? I do it 5-6 days a week.

Thank you... seriously.. I am sitting here reading this post thinking to myself " I know exactly how you feel" and reading the great advice everyone is giving. When I got to your post and read your inspirational quote I kinda had the overpowering feeling that it is completely right. If I started the first day I set my profile to start my diet I would have reached my goal weight. But, every night I blow it and wake up the next morning and restart my caloriecount start date. I just did it again. I had actually dieted and exercise for two weeks and dropped 7 pounds. I felt great!! I blew it over the holidays and couldn't stop kicking myself for being ridiculous and falling apart. For some reason now I just know I can do it. That quote seriously just woke me up to reality. I am in charge of me. I only have one life to live and enjoy and if I don't start actually living I will never enjoy it. Thank you to all...

I'm 23 with be 24 in March. My fiance of 3 years will be 24 in February. Um... just finished college and received Bachelor's in Business Administration. Will start master's soon. Happily engaged.. to scared to ruin it with marriage. Finallly starting to lose weight!! (down 7 lbs in my first week). and my legs are absolutely killing me right now. My take on alcohol is I have some when we have gatherings but try to have it fit in to my daily budget or just exercise a lot more the next day to make me feel better about it.

Does anyone know how many calories are in a regular frozen margarita with salt?

And stephanie - that SUCKS about having to take another class after you "graduated". the same thing happened to my brother, he ended up doing an independent study class called death and bereavement...one of his assignments was to go to the hospital and talk to the family of someone who died and ask them how it felt then write a paper about it. needless to say, he used all of those BS tricks they teach you in college and made it all up. and got an A in the class...

Thanks for that! I am actually taking an Independant Study for the simple reason if I had to go face some of my professors again (and my no-nothing advisor) I would say things that would probably get me banned from every college there is. Just sucks.. Had the graduation party and all, just no degree in my hand.. oh well..

Hello all!

23, female,5'6", 175-177currently. Aiming for 130. I eat between 1200-1500 cals/day and have been exercising on an elliptical for about 30 min/day 6 days a week. Started exercising on an ab lounge lately (that thing HURTS).

Breakfast is usually oatmeal and coffee

Snack is fruit

Lunch is either sandwich/salad/soup/chicken ...whatever I am in the mood for

snack is cottage cheese and fruit

dinner is whatever... really.. I don't deprive myself for dinner, but within moderation.

I drink about 5-6 20oz bottles of water a day with crystal lite raspberry green tea.

Ello! 23.. thought I finished college and instead of a paper in the mail saying when graduation is I get one saying.. oh.. you have to take one more humanities.. you took the same class twice, but at different schools.. I love my advisor..

hk.. do you have to lift weights at like a gym or will just a few dumb bells for arm toning and squats with a lot of cardio work? I hate a gym. It's expensive and just yuk (small city.. only one gym.. ALL men) I have like dumb bells and an elliptical and ab lounge at my house with a LOT of work-out videos (Slimin 6, the firm, windsor pilates, tae-bo) Can I actually lose weight and be nice and tone without a gym.?

Horse rider here!!

I love to ride. When I was in college I couldn't ride nearly as much and ate a lot

 I ride western (sometimes bareback when I ride alone) and barrel race. My mom rides with me. When she started riding she went from a size 6 pants to a size 0-2 in like two months. She is too little now.
