i will just average it out over the week and see how it goes! i never eat below 1365 but exercise different amounts every day - so this will in turn help me too! and yeh im nuts!! always have been always will be! thanks again! |

| hi guys
im indian and can totally relate to the difficulty in tracking cals - especially in things like paneer and all different types of dhal. im not even sure how much the average roti is in in cals!!!! ne help/idea??? thanx guys - so good to start this thread! |

thank you guys u r all so supportive - especially jen thanks so much my saddlebags have been the root cause for a past ed and now its been 6 months since ive been having more than 500 cals a day if not less!! i guess my body is still catching up but the wild fluctuations get my hopes high n then crash them again...lol! i am learning! anyways thanks again, you guys r the best - lol...feeling emotional as i have first counsellor appointment on wednesday - feelin nervous and weird - arghh take care x |

yes i suppose u r right, well i know so its just ive spent ages - since september- bringing it down and managed to do so. I havent seen thisinch diffreence in over 2 months. and yes i do measure obsessively, every morning and night i feel lke giving up the gym...lol im just going to have to wait till tommorow to see what happens thank u |

thanx guys no its not 1/2 an hour - its an hour and a half or 2 hours ive been implementing the tips and must say im begginning to enjoy all this food :D after months of 1300!! ive started eating peanut butter again and cooking with a little more olive oil instead of the absolute minimum! and eating a side with all my meals! thanx again! |

wholewheat pasta porridge oats semi skimmed milk cereal bars - the good ones dark chocoltae strawberries, apples, oranges, raspberries wholewheat pitta bread lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, onions tuna cottage cheese chicken breasts potatoes lentil soups vegetables for stir fry dinners low fat ice cream grape juice :D |

bfast - porridge 200 cals serving go gym...come back for lunch time lunch - wholeweat pitta stuffed with tuna salad or wholewheat pitta with cottage cheese and salad OR egg omlette with ham and onion and a pitta also have an apple a little after or a yoghurt and then a cup of tea with a sweet oat biscuit snack - more fruit dinner - wholewheat pitta with vegetable stir fry or noodles and chicken stir fry...chicken with vegetables and gravy or lentil soup with pitta bread dessert - fruit/ cereal bar lol - pretty low cal stuff...am i eating the right amount though? i see people posting that they only eat 1300 a day with exercise :S thanks for helping |

| i weigh 118/119 lbs
not a lot i guess but i have horrible pockets of fat on my outer hips - saddlebags. they make me look a lot bigger than i am so im figuring 110 is about right. |

| oh! i didnt realise this could be a bad circuit - id be doing it 3 times a week on alternate days in between cardio sessions.
ok it might be better to mix it up a bit though. i just concentrated on the lower body as thats the only area i w ant to improve! |

| hey guys
i havent posted in ages oops..went away and then f=got lazy so i havent done anything for a very long time except for pilates every other day. I went to india for a month and (i dont go by weight i go by body measurements) i managed to lose some fat especiallyaround the hips, which is what i want. i lost 0/5 inch off the hips (yes it does make a difference as im so unproportioned) anyway came back and with a 12-1300 cal diet and pilates managed to keep it off until...XMAS. im back up 0.5 inch :( so, i bought a polar f11 heart rate monitor today and am going to get back to the gym and keep at the 12-1300 cal diet and eat back my exercise calories. here we go again.... hope ur all doing better :) |

| hiya
im 22 and joined CC a while ago, back in july/august when i moved back from home i too basically stopped eating and lost lots of weight and felt so good about myself, and all the weight i lost, well not all but a lot came back, within such a short period of time. I havent been exercising relegiously, I have spouts of activity but I have been watching my calories. I dont really go by weight, I go by inches and my main concern is my hips. Since joining CC ive lost 1 inch. So I think Im going to join the 12 week challenge and get this inch loss and healthy lifestyle started again. Good luck - we can do this!!! Tina |

| oooo ok i know yoghurt is good for you as its full of protein.
so what i do for 300 calories, as i have a sweet tooth, i have one of my mini meals as a dessert :) one jordans wholegrain cereal bar with raisins = 122 cal one activia forest fruit yoghurt pot = 67 cals 5/6 chocolate raisin (pathetic i know) and some sultanas 80g worth of rasberries and strawberries. break up the cereal bar and lay on bottom of bowl, then cut strawberries and raspeberries and layer on top!pour the creamy fruity yoghurt over this and sprinkle choclate raisins and sultanas on top!300 cals of fruity sweet yummy good dessert food! lol |

| lol..yeah i know, its just im coming out of starvation mode. i spent last year eating nothing for 5 days then binging on the 6th and eating healthy on the 7th. then in the past 2 months ive been eating but exercising too much so that im way under 1200 cals. the weight keeps on increasing, and now im trying to eat over 12000 cals, and even more if i exercise. scary concept for me.

| no, but thats the title of the video - 10 years younger in 10 hours.
and then they show before and after pictures, it really is amazing. it just wont/doesnt seem to be having an effect on me. |

| this is exactly what i need to do
im desperate to lose inches ok bust 29" waist 24.5" hips 40" yes as u can see i am totaly out of proportionon the lower half, i have been 37.5 once, would love that again. have no idea how to do it though, as in how many cals and exercise. starvation mode and deficit confuse me and i cannot eat 1800 cals if i burn 600 cals one day, thats too much. neway count me in! im trying! |

| hey thank you for the replies.
so basically i need to eat 1300 cals a day if i dont do any exercise , ill still lose fat? and if i do do exercise, eat back those cals? whats the point...? is it just , no matter how much i eat, total those calories, deduct any calories burned during exercise and make sure the result is not less than 1300??? if it is eat some more to make it 1300, and then when and if i hit i plateu to lower my cals to 1200? arghhh, so that means, i exercised today, burnt 600 cals and did weights but only ate 1300 cals (which was very hard 2 do 4 me) and im still in 'starvation mode'?? i cant eat 1800 cals...that is too hard and surely ill just put on that food around the hips where i dont want it |
