I started drinking it without any sugar at all and after a few days didn't even need the sugar any more.  I can't say that for other tea's though, just green tea :P

thank you all for the great suggestions!!! I will try some of these out and report back as to how I do!

"I like to cook 2 oz. (dry weight) whole wheat pasta with about 8 oz. broccoli then top with 1 oz. of cheese (usually either mozzarella or something nice and sharp).  I find that the broccoli and cheese provide enough flavour that I don't really notice the pasta being whole wheat.  Asparagus works well too though is usually more expensive."

I really like that idea and will be trying that first I think!! I love brocolli and cheese together!! Do you put butter or oil on it with it? Does the cheese melt

Hi everyone! I'm Michelle, 30 from Edmonton Alberta Canada. I've been an up and down rollercoaster with my weight in the last year.  I lost about 15 pounds and gained about 7 back recently :(

Now I really want to get serious about eating more healthy and  being more active! I'm getting married next May in Greece and want to look good in my bikini! haha

right now I'm at around 203 lbs and want to lose 50 lbs to start and go from there.  Today I started counting calories again and tomorrow I will be hitting the gym!

hey all :) new to this thread and I love to chat so here I am!

Michelle - 30 years old - 200lbs - goal: 150lbs

I started back at the gym last night after a month of not going and it felt great! going again tonight after work.  I want to go at least 3 times a week to get into the groove of it and then hopefully bump it up to 4 times a week.

At work I eat really well, fruit and veggies and lots of water.  The only thing I have a bit of a hard time is getting enough protein.  I eat yogurt and cheese and tuna but I'm not a big meat eater so I have to think of other foods that have protein in them.

Nice to meet you all and looking forward to chatting in the future!

I'm giving up take-out food - it's going to be so hard because usually once a week when my fiancé and I don't feel like cooking we just order something!

good luck to you all! you can do it!!

hey all! I'm going to join in with the SMART goals.  I'm making up my calendar right now and getting organized.  Will go grocery shopping this afternoon for supplies.

Goals for January:

1. eat 1 serving of protein, 2 servings or fruit and 3 servings of veggies a day (reward is a small bag of chips)
2. Drink 3 liters of water a day (reward is my favorite Booster Juice smoothie)
3. Work out at the gym for at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week (reward is a back massage)

this is going to be a tough start since I fell off the workout/eating well wagon a few months ago. I'm getting married in Greece next June and that will be my motivation to get a healthy body! I'm excited and scared at the same time Undecided
