brimmyhop: I suppose you could call it a detox. my husband does it once a week. Usually monday's because of the junk we sometimes eat on the weekend. So we have anything liquid. So yesterday i had, tea, smoothies, and chicken broth but at night time i broke down and had a piece of bread :-) |

livsmomma: 3.5 inches!!! That is great! I need to lose about 4 inches to get back in my wedding dress from last year. But i know i am not doing my exercises enough! What is your pattern with exercises? So i am 144... I was 143 on thursday (I weighed myself thursday cus i knew i would be eating a lot over the weekend) I ate a lot of bad foods over the weekend but small portions so hpefully couple of pounds are just water weight. Today I had: tea for breakfast, smoothie for lunch, and a light veggie soup for dinner. Trying to get rid of all the bad food! Hopefully tomorrow ill be back to normal. |

Hi guys! I have NOT counted my calories since Friday! My cousin got married so we had family over so i ate friday, saturday AND sunday. I didnt count my cals cus i didnt make the food but I would have small portions. And then i didnt bother counting yesterday or today cus this friday is my husbands cousins wedding! so the partying starts tomorrow. But I will be controlling my portions. I weighed myseld this morning and I was 146.5. I was 145 last week so I didnt really lose weight :-( |

you guys are to funny! of course wrapping myself up and giving a lapdance is a definite LOL so what about this... i got this idea from online...take a big box and put 12 things in it...each gift representinga month we have been together...so for me it would be mostly stuff we would use on our trip...like his and her baseball hats...his and her glip flops....his and her tooth brush...basically everything his and hers lol but keep the ideas coming! |

carloil: You are going to france??? ououou! have fun and enjoy a litte while eating those yummy pastries so i feel so full today! trust me im not one of those girls that say "oh no that is too much food for me" I can definitly eat! But I dont know why today I just feel super full. This is what I had: 1 Plum on my way to the gym (30 cals) 1 Plum on my way back from the gym (30 cals) Breakfast: 2 whole wheat waffles with sugar free jam (130 for both waffles and 20 c for 1 tb of jam) Lunch: A bowl of cheerios (200 cals it was a big bowl!) Dinner: trader joes tomato soup (100) and i added some veggies (100) with 1 pita bread (210) and a side salad with feta cheese (135) Thats 545 all together Snacks: a handful of blueberrys (83 cals) 2 cups of tea with milk (200 cals) 1 slimbear ice cream sandwich (100 cals) 1338 calories in total. I went to the gym in the morning and burned 700 cals. I just dont know why im so full!!!!!!!!! |

hey guys! Seems like everyone is doing awesome. I feel a little down today. I think it's because my husband lost 10 pounds in 1 week. IT's JUST NOT FAIR! I want to throw a blob of butter in his dinner without telling him. :-) Just kidding. So today I went to the gym in the morning. 30 minutes walk to the gym. (100 cals) At the gym urned 500 cals. and then walk back 100 cals. Does that sound about right that a 30 minute walk would be a 100 cals? I walk pretty fast but i dont know. Breakfast: waffles 140 cals Lunch: I'm not sure yet. Dinner: Soup (about 200 cals) with a piece of bread (100 cals) Snacks: 2 cups of tea with milk (combined 200 cals) 2 peaches (60 cals) and im not sure what else i will eat. Can we start putting calories next to the foods we eat? that way i can steal your meal ideas and know how many calories there are! |

new_lou and aelshennawy: Welcome! We do weigh in every monday. The plan is to log on every day and post what you ate, what exercises you did, any anything else you would like to share. Please list your stats as well. So my start weight was 152. My weigh in today was 146. Since this was my first week i lost a little bit more then usual. My goal for next monday is 143. Which I know will be impossible because I am invited to a bridal shower wednesday and then a wedding on friday and there is a dinner party at my house on saturday!!! Exercise: 5 days a week. Burn 700 calories. |

1. Drink a lot of water, water, and some more water! It will help you keep full. 2. Keep a lot of healthy snacks with you at all times. I noticed back in the day if i didnt have snacks with me then I would go and buy something unhealthy like starbucks. but if i had an apple inmy purse when im out then i would just have that. 3. Plan your meals ahead that way you will be prepared and wont order food in. 4. Try to have 3 meals and at least 2 snacks a day. that way you will feel like you are always eating and wont be hungry. |

Hey everyone! So i had a great morning so far... I walked to the gym (1 hour of walking = 200 cals???) and then I burned 400 cals at the gym For breakfast I had cereal and tea 300 cals Lunch: NO IDEA cus i am going to the temple today and they are having a special service and serving lunch. I might just skip it all together and come home and have a late lunch. Dinner: CHILLI! |

Breakfast: 2 waffles 200 cals Lunch: 4 pieces of california sushi 160 cals Dinner: sandwich with some veggies (umm 350ish) snacks: two cups of tea (200 c), apple (70ish), pudding (100), fruit (100) YAY ME! livsmomma: that sounds yummy! But i was hoping something other then soup! I have been having soup a lot because I dont know what else I can make thats low cals and low fat. I might just do sandwiches. I really want to make whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce mixed with fat free ranch and spinach but i think it will be on the high end of cals and im scared i will overeat. |

Hey everyone, I am so dissapointed in myself! I went over my calories last night. Instead of 1200 I probably had 1500. I had 4 pieces of Dove chocolate!!! I hope I can do better today. I'm definitly going to the gym! Anyone know anything fun I can make for dinner? I was thinking of veggie pizza but even that will come up around 500 calories. MY sis in law is coming over so i can just put whatever on the table and call it a day lol. Any suggestions? |

Brimmy: Can you leave the office for a lunch break> So by the time you come back the pizza will be gone??? JUST SAY NO! And you can weigh yourself on saturdays thats fine. As long as you give yourself 7 days in between. hahaha dont worry about the slim in 6. I just googled it and the cheapest i could find is 50 bucks. Thats still high since I am a little broke right now with all the healthy groceries for the entire family! |

water_never_dry: I should really try eating 5 fruits a day. I have about two a day! And replace that salad! Veggies fill me up so much more. What do you do for two hours? Usually I walk to my gym (30 mins each way) and then an hour at the gym. But i dont count the walk to the gym cus I walk pretty slow. I work out around 3ish because that's when the gym is the slowest so I have the machiens i want. I have a late breakfast, late lunch, late dinner because I eat the most at night so I dont want to have an early dinner and then get hungry again. Breakfast is at noon...Lunch is at 4ish...dinner at 8 and of course snacks in between Jellybelly7: NO WAY IT COST 78 DOLLARS! But i am so jealous that you feel it working already. I rather lose inches then weight and im sure from slim in 6 you lose inches. maybe ill ask one of my friends to buy it and then burn me a copy! HA! You can have chipotle in a semi healthy way too. But the sodium will still be high. I think the lowest I have had chipotle was 500 calories... Also, I eat around 1200 calories. I dont get hungry but I do get cravings. For hunger i just have a huge bottle of water with my food. By the time you are done with your meal you will be super full! For cravings i just keep healthy yummy snacks around. Like fruit jello, or chocolate pudding. And if i am good the entire day then I am allowed a dove at night time :-) Brimmyhop: Welcome! |

yay we have about 8 people so far...i think when we get to like 10-12 I will go ahead close it. THat way we will have our own little group. Monday is weigh in day! I weighed myself today (I weigh myself almost every day...so bad) and im still at 146...very depressing! |

Thanks guys! I totally agree. Before people use to tell me all calories are not the same because of fat ratio. Then I started counting fat as well. So I try not to exceed 30 grams of fat a day (that includes my chocolate) Thanks! now i dont feel to guilty! |

Hi mkculs! This is actually my second time using CC and I lost 26 pounds the first time. (Gained ten pounds after the wedding!) I just started on monday and usually the first week I try to eat really light food. No meat, no bread, no pasta. But then after that I eat normal which is about 1300 calories. But thanks for your concern! |

hi! My husband and I actually "detox" on a regular basis. And i say "detox" because I just eat everything raw for about week. For example on day one I will just have water and fruit. And then the rest of the days I will eat whatever comes in its natural form. So when I saw fruits and veggies, that doesnt mean the frozen kind. And I eat everything natural. So i'm detoxing in a healthy way but still getting rid of the junk like sodium etc. |
