well, you did it, morton.  lol  i'm 132 today.  no biggie, though, considering all i ate this week.  i just weighed myself again & i'm still 132 at night, so my weight is already tapering off.  :D

i'm soooooo glad it's only 132!  LOL  i really figured it'd be more.

wow!  all that stuff you did sounds awesome!  man, i'm jealous now.  we had a really good time, too.  it had been way too long since we went to canada.  now, we can go over whenever we want since we finally got our enhanced licenses.

we mostly did eating, shopping, a little walking & a few movies at home.  it was really nice to spend all that time alone together.  today we had alot of company & tomorrow & wednesday will be busy, too.  after that, it'll be back to normal, i think...  til next week!

yeah, thanksgiving!  LOL  stuffing, stuffing, stuffing!!!  i can't wait!!!  i'll try to behave, but i dunno.  it's all in the balance anyway.  :D

she just doesn't understand & my guess is that you'll never be able to explain to her about calories in vs calories burned OR how healthy exercise is for everyone & not just you.

let her think what she wants & just enjoy what you're doing.  you KNOW you're doing the right thing, so just stick with it.  :D

when she starts up with you, change the subject.  you're doing this for yourself anyway, not for her.  i know it's hard to let it go, but just try.  you'll both be alot happier.

congrats on your new lifestyle!  i know you deserve more, but hey...  life isn't always fair, you know?  i had alot of problems with my family when i was losing, too, but nobody cares anymore.  they're used to the new me.  finally!

keep eating more.  that is very unhealthy to eat so little.  it'll just take a little time for your body to be eating normal again & your weight will taper off.  don't worry about it.

i do understand your frustration, though!  don't get me wrong...  just hang in there & be strong!  :D

your body is made to eat more & it WILL adjust.

hey, you guys...  i hit 130 today!  LOL  i really enjoyed being 122, but i guess i should be more like 129, at least.  i dunno!  my gut is still really big.  well, it's big to me!  anyway, i purposely tried to gain & just let loose for our anniversary, so 130 is cool.

hehe  i'll probably be 134 tomorrow!  i'm sure it'll just fall off once i get back to work.  you're right, shane!  we all know how to get it off.  :D  i just don't get how other people have such problems, but i used to be one of 'em...  well, i guess we ALL used to be one of them...

we don't have a trader joes here.  :(  i've heard alot of good stuff about it, though.

i hope you're both doing great.  AND i hope monday's weigh in goes ok.  LOL  i'd rather be 129!  heck with the 130's UNLESS it's muscle.  ;)

yep!  everything went great!  i'm good for a whole year now.  :D  finally!  WooHoo!!!  BP was 110/70, HR 64, weight with clothes & shoes on was 131, & bloodwork was ALL great.  that is soooooo cool!  i guess i worry too much...  LOL  i sure am glad that's over...

i hope you enjoy that Bday & anniversary.  ours is on the 13th, 27 years.  yeah, it's a good warm up for the holidays.  we both have a good pattern going.  mine has to do with days i'm working & days off.  yours is weekdays & weekends.  i got my flu shot in september, so i'm all set.  i hope you get yours soon.

work is going great & i'm pretty sure it'll be super easy to stay under 130.  LOL  i dunno, though, with our anniversary & then holiday season!  ;)

hi morton.  i'm a whopping 128 pounds today.  LOL  yeah, i ate late & i guess i've been sorta trying to gain a few anyway.  i've been hitting the sweets, big time, though!  oh well, i'm sure that will fade, eventually.

geez, it's almost thanksgiving already!  oh no!  stuffing!!!  ;)

i'm fasting til 11 today & going for my bloodwork, then the doc on thursday.  not much new, i guess.  i'm still working & it's still good.  i can't believe they only pay 7.35, but whatever.  i'm staying there. 

other than the sweets, i'm eating good (for me!) & i'm getting in my hour & 15 minutes of activity every day.  :D  i haven't used the heart rate monitor in a long time, but i'm still using the activity computer (watch). 

oh man...  i sure hope my bloodwork comes out good & that my BP will be good for the old doc...

how are you doing lately?  are you staying around the same?

yeah, you're too late, morton.  LOL  i've been eating candy like it's going out of style.  i'm trying to eat good foods too, to balance it all out.  not much walking here, at all.  i DID get sick from all them people at the store & i'm feeling much better, but still not quite right.

maybe i'll walk tomorrow.  i dunno.  i've really, really cut way, way down on the exercise.  i know i should do more, but i've been feeling kinda crappy & coughing alot, etc.  i just want to be sure i don't get any worse.  this thing hit me pretty hard!  :(

125 today.  we ate out last night & later i had all kinds of sweets.  LOL

131 is good...  and body fat 20.4, i guess.  lol  i don't even know what it should be.  i saw my gyno last night & he didn't say anything about me being too thin.  he just said that i had done a great job.  :D

the nurse & receptionist were both drooling!  hehe  they couldn't believe that i had lost even 14 more pounds from my last visit.  i had lost before & always gone back up.  the lowest weight they have for me on file was 128.  now, they have 124.  that is so cool!

i'm glad to hear that you are eating more food now.  it's really great!  yeah, it's almost binging season, though.  hehe  i think we've got the handle on that now, so there's nothing to worry about.  it's normal to eat more now & then...  just not all the time.  ;)

i wouldn't think you'd need a cholesterol drug.  you eat fine!  geez, look at how you eat now!  you probably used to need it.  that's so funny about the ladies at work!!!  hey, at least they have a goal!  :D  congrats on all that exercise!  that's awesome!!!

i haven't walked much, ran or anything...  just moving...  twists, dancing, whatever i can do in the house & keeping up my hour & 15 minutes a day of exercise.

yeah, it's been a long ways for the both of us.  LOL  nah, i don't want to get under 120.  i think i'll stay around 124 for a while & probably head back up to 129.  i haven't decided yet, but i'd surely be in trouble if i got down to 119!  LOL  and you are soooooo right!  i feel terrific!!!

yeah, i'm loving the new job.  it's only about 25 or 30 hours a week, but that's better than he said when he hired me.  he said 20 to 25, so i'm extra happy.

it's great to see that 169!  congrats!  if it was a higher elevation where you weighed, i just heard that you weigh more in higher elevations.  i dunno why.  i just heard that.  :D  i wouldn't think it'd be that much higher, though!

yeah, you were probably weighing your drinks.  it takes a while for them to go through you.  hehe  i dunno, though...  that'd be alot of fluid!

dude!  it's monday already?  i went to get my eye exam today & ordered new glasses.  i'm off to the gyno now.  i should be all set for a while now, except for seeing the regular doc on the 5th & he should approve my yearly checkup instead of every 3 months because of my good BP readings.  LOL  he promised, but we'll see...

123 today  :D

oh, that show sounds so good!  yep, i know what you mean.  i can almost taste it, just thinking about it.  :D

yeah, i got my flu shot on the 24th.  i don't think this is from that shot, or it would probably be even worse.  LOL  i'm feeling a little better again today, but it's still rotten.  it's changing to sinuses now.

at least i can just chill today.  i don't work til 5 & i have tomorrow off.  we went to fridays yesterday.  i got a jack daniels burger with fries & a couple of drinks.  that was good.  prime rib would be better, though, especially a buffet!  ;)

yep!  now, i just enjoy life so much more.  everything is better!  it's so cool shopping now & yeah...  i don't need to hide from cameras...  i AM & feel so much better & healthier.  it's awesome!

hey morton!  122 today!  :D 

i dunno.  i'm not trying to lose, but i've been sick with a nasty cold for a few days, at least!  i've been eating good & i haven't been exercising very much lately.  i guess it's just the eating good that did it.  well, eating good for me.  LOL  hmmm...  whatever!  i'll take it.

i didn't use my HRM all week!  the only exercise i've been getting is my 'staying active' at least an hour & 15 minutes a day.  i didn't even make that yesterday.  i guess working must be burning alot.

how are you doing?

i wouldn't worry about carbs if i were you.  i lost 95 pounds & i ate like 70% carbs.  i had my chocolate every night & occasional splurges.  that site is just trying to sell stuff.  don't buy it. 

just eat better & exercise more.  :D

hey, it takes 3500 calories to equal a pound, so why would a tiny slice of cake hurt your efforts for 2 days?

131!  that's cool.  :D  at least you're back up!  yeah, if you only ate at home, you'd wither away.  you do have occasional treats, though, & 3X a week is fine for your workouts. 

same here!  man, i'm not walking much lately.  i'm just doing exercises in the house.  it's too cold out there.  if i still had to lose weight, i'd be out there no matter what, but i don't need to lose anymore so i don't want to chance getting sick.

i'm still getting my trophy every week with my HRM & being active at least an hour & 15 minutes a day with my activity computer (my other watch).  so i'm getting plenty of exercise.  it's just mostly inside.  you're right.  it's so much easier just walking out the door.

candy, candy, candy!!!  LOL  yeah, i do find myself going over & looking at the candy alot.  i'm not buying any, though.  i have to fill the shelves & stuff, too.  today i cashed out all day.  that's the first time i did that.  well, cash & fill candy.  :D

alot of my job is filling shelves, counting stuff, & putting up/taking down stickers.  it's nice, because there are alot of things to do other than just cashing out customers.  oh!  i help customers alot, too.  :D

125 today.  i guess it wasn't such a big weekend as i expected.  lol  i've been eating quite alot, but i'm eating alot of good foods.

hubby went mall walking with me today & he lost 5 pounds in a week!  :D  we walked 2 miles.  we don't have the money & can't eat out much lately.  maybe that's why he's losing.  i haven't been meeting him for lunch, because i'm working, too.  i dunno.  he's actually trying to eat better!

it's going great.  i love it!  so far, i did a bunch of computer tests, a little register & helping customers, and today i changed a bunch of shelf stickers.  it's really nice & relaxed, so far, at least.  ;)  i'll probably have my 'busy' days.  i don't care, i'll enjoy being busy.  it'll keep me from getting bored.

129?!  oh no!  yeah, i'm sure a nice weekend will fix that.

i finally hit my dream weight today!  124!!!  WooHoo!!!  i've always wanted to weigh that again.  i weighed it for one day before, in 1980, the day i found out i was pregnant with my 2nd kid.  LOL  i didn't think i'd ever see that again...  after work, i weighed myself again, because i had to change my clothes anyway,  & it was only 123!!!  that is soooooo awesome!!!  don't worry, i'm still in my healthy range.  that makes my BMI 19.3.

i'm sure i'll have a big eating weekend, too!  :D  jamie, ang & her boyfriend will be here & it's a long weekend, too.  oh man, i'm so excited!  i haven't eaten out for a whole week!  LOL

now that it's tomorrow already, i AM getting a little nervous.  not much, though.  i think i'm more excited than anything.  you're so right, morton!  i'm sure i'll be coming home with lots of stories for hubby.  lol  whether he wants to hear them or not...

AND yeah, it would be nice to work & still have a life.  yep, rite aid is a drug store.  i think there are 1000's of 'em around.  i'm not sure of the number, but i see them everywhere when we're traveling.

wow!  you made it all the way up to 133?!  you must have done some good eating!  i like that.  i'm proud!

127 here.  i'll probably have alot of sweets again tonight.  i've been on a sort of controlled chocolate binge lately.  ;)

thanks man, i got it!  i got the job!  it's only part time, but that's ok.  i'm so excited.  i start tuesday, but i think that's just gonna be filling out paperwork & hopefully getting my schedule.  :D

i'm so glad it's not seasonal.  LOL  hopefully, i'll get enough hours that i won't have to get a 2nd job.  i dunno.  i really should be working full time.  we need the money!

i don't even know how much they're paying me, but i'm hired.  isn't that weird?  lowes did that too.  i googled it & i see that they have alot of benefits.  :D

rite aid just called me!!!  i passed the 1st phone interview!!!  now, they're doing the background check & then there's still another phone interview, i think...  another interview AND a drug test...

i'd say the same, you can easily go up 5 - 7 pounds in any day.  it all depends on what you ate & drank during the day.  just imagine standing on the scale, holding all that stuff.  :D

i'd go with the morning weight.

if you ate late & weigh more in the morning, don't worry about it.  you're still digesting.  ;)

yeah, i've been doing some good eating, too.  well, you know me...  we bring our own food when we go to the movies, too.  we just go to the dollar tree & get theater candy.  we usually buy the huge popcorn & huge pop, though.

i like to get the free samples when i'm shopping, but never if there's a line.  ;)  i know what you mean, though.

i sure hope your foot gets better!  i'm staying pretty active.

yeah, i'm with you.  i could lose 1000 pounds now, if i had 'em.  LOL  i always thought i was born to be fat until i found this site.  now i realize that i can weigh anything i want & it's ALL up to me.  it's MY decision.
