I don't have anything new to add. I agree with everything that has been posted by the others before me. I'm 29 yrs old and I've had 1 child. My right boob is quite a bit bigger than my left one and always has been. No one has ever made any sort of negative remark about their appearance-quite the opposite actually! :) I wear demi-cut bras with inserts and only put the insert in the left cup. Not only does it make my boob looknicer in the bra but (obviously) it fills it out better for a better fit. Incase you're interested you can find bras like these at Lane Bryant. whatisbeautiful- I'm sure you're beautiful!! You have nothing to worry about-you're completely "normal". Good luck to you! :) |

tanyamoniq~ I absolutely love what you said! ...I figure it's only a little while in the grand scheme of things. That's so true! Good for you -being so positive and grounded! I love things like that being said 'cause it really help me keep things in their proper perspective. :) Hey everyone! Today is my weigh-in day. I'm down to 356.8lbs from 363.1lbs on Sept 20th. 6.3 more lbs GONE! History! Out of my life for good! (Total loss so far is 30lbs!) I think I'm going to slaughter my goal of 345lbs by Jan. '08. Just 11 more pounds to go! I'll have to make my next goal be to maintain that weight thru the holidays. Ha ha! J/K :p Have a great weekend everyone! Mine starts early 'cause there's no school tomorrow. Seems the school system has an absentee rate of 40% (among the teachers) on the Friday before the OU vs. Texas game. I guess they thought it would just be easier to give everyone the day off. Goooo Sooneeeers! Bye!! ~Corisa |

Thanks so much sabineyvr! And, congratulations on passing your half way mark. Yeeeaaa!!!! I'm clapping for you. :) Keep up the good work! bigmommag~ Ugh! I hate it for you!! All I ever want to eat when I'm sick is toast, scrambled eggs or chicken noodle soup. And I sleep A LOT! Hope you're better real soon! :) go4gold~ I'm with ajjciir on this one. I only use my totals from my regularly scheduled weigh-in days to track my loss (or gain). Getting on the scale everyday and seeing my weight fluctuate as much as it does drives me crazy. As long as the numbers on the scale are steadily getting smaller I'm happy! Hiiiiii jelly1134 (I say waving with a big smile :)) WELCOME!! Everyone else~hello to you too! Have a good night. Talk to ya soon.

Hi Everyone! The family and I went to a family fun center this weekend and we had a BLAST!! For the first time in years I drove a go-kart. I fit into the go-kart!! I was soooo tickled. I beat the socks off my boys too. :) Now I just need to stay on track and keep losing this weight so that next summer when we visit again I wont exceed the weight limit on the bumper boats and I can ride those too!! (giggles giddy with excitement and anticipation) Here's my want to do list: 1. See moogiesue's no.1. (I'm totally stealing it. Thanks!) 2. I want to be able to buy my clothes from any store (and not in the plus size section). 3. I want to be able to say that I lowered my cholesterol and blood pressure and that I'm no longer dependant on medications for those conditions. 4. I want to take a bubble bath in a regular sized tub and actually be comfortable enough to enjoy it!! 5. I want to lie with my son on his bunk-bed and not worry that it will fall in. 6. I want to sit in a swing at the park and swing 'til I'm sick! ( not just 'til my thighs can't take the pain of the metal hooks digging into them anymore.) 7. I want to go out in public and not worry that others are staring at me 'cause I'm fat but instead because I'm beautiful!! 8. There are so many! Let's start with these for now. Bye you all! xoxoxo ~Corisa |

nihilistic~WELCOME! I've made terrible, stupid choices in the past to "just get the weight off" but (like you've experienced) I never kept it off. This time around I decided to focus my attention on educatingmyself (about nutrition) and not so much on "getting skinny". The best part though- I am losing weight and now I know how to keep it off! Basically, my point is, I think you've made a good decision to make permanent healthy changes to youreating habits, without the use of pharmaceuticals or goofy over-the-counter ripoffs. Sounds like you're doing an awesome job with your exercise regimen, too. Bicycling 21 miles a day~WOW~ That is awesome!!. I'm only up to 8 miles at a time but one of these days I'll catch you. :) About your suggested daily calorie intake set by the website...I don't know? I thought mine seemed way too high, too. Can anyone explain? Best of luck to you! ~Corisa --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- -------------- Hey eveyone! I was reading thru the posts and even though they weren't about the happiest subjects they made me so happy. Everyone's so supportive of one another. I'm so proud to be a member of this club. It's nice to know I can count on all of you if or when I feel let down by others. I appreciate all of you! Congratulations ang37 on reaching your 10% goal! That's wonderful! bigmommah~I'd be proud to add you to my friends list! I'll help you, too, in anyway I can! lol jansa5~Woo whooo! Good for you! -down 7lbs since joining this group and down 25.5lbs since joining c.c. Well, I've gotta get. I'll talk to ya tomorrow. Have a nice one! lol ~Corisa

All together now, "Hiiiiiiii, magickat !!" Welcome~ we're so glad you joined us! (Big hugs) :) Hi everyone! Still here, still drinking my water, still working out (even if I R-E-A-L-L-Y don't want to). Now and then I just have to give myself a little pep talk, slap myself 'round a little bit. Hope you're all doing well. What am I saying? Of course you are! You're all AWESOME!! I'm so glad to have all of you!! :) Thanks for all your encouragement and support~I've been needing it lately. It's been hard to keep my spirits lifted. Usually I'm so PUMPED about everything but lately I just feel "blah!" I think I'm gonna follow go4gold's advice and post my answer to the QOW on the fridge. I think that's what I need~ something staring me in the face reminding me what I'm doing here and why. Have a good night everyone! Stay motivated! Stay strong! You can do this! &nbs p; I can do this!!:) Talk to you soon! lol ~Corisa |

fortyandfab~ I'm happy for you anyway! You're staying positive and keeping yourself motivated and we all know that's (at least) half the battle. Keep it up girl. You're awesome! tanyamoniq~I can just feel your excitement jumping thru my screen! :) Yeah!! I feel so giddy (for you? with you? I don't know!) I'm just so thrilled for you! Good job! Keep up the good work! renastar23~Wow! 10lbs...SWEET!! You go girl! You must be so psyched! I don't have anything new to report about myself. Still drinking my 10-12cups of water a day. Still power walking (with weights now-2lbers). Got any advice? What motivates you? My friend (that I've been power walking with since July and who has lost 20lbs) hasn't lost any weight and "only" (as she puts it) 1 inch (total) in 4 weeks. She's getting really discouraged and I'm her only support. I know she's not eating well. She usually has pizza or McDonalds or Taco Bell EVERY DAY and dinner isn't 'til 10pm when she gets home from work. I tried explaining to her that she may need to cut back on her daily calorie intake and I suggested cc but she's really not interested. She thinks I've gone overboard. I see that she's willing to work (because she exercises with me almost every day) but I can't convince her of the importance of a healthy diet as well. Her logic is this...Before I started exercising I was maintaining my weight (eating like this) so adding exercise should be enough. Well, why isn't it? I've suggested maybe she's gaining muscle or maybe she's hit a plateau. I don't know, I'm running out of ideas. I don't know what else I can suggest or say that might keep her encouraged to continue. It's really important to me that she stays motivated because she's my partner in this. She's been the only reason I show up to work out sometimes. If I lose her I lose some of my motivation. So, any suggestions would be much appreciated. Maybe you have some tips as to where else I should be seeking my motivation from? I know...I should look to myself but I'm weak. :( Let's start off with something easier than that! ha ha J/K lol :) Thank you! ~Corisa &n bsp; |

Hi everyone! Welcome to all the new members! It's nice to know you! Congrats bigmommahon your additional 3lbs lost. I know your looking forward to that number changing more rapidly in the future ( I can relate). I hope you're still celebrating your current success as well though! You deserve to. :) It's been a couple of days so I thought I should stop long enough to at least say hi. My best friend had an accident and I've been busy helping her out. She was walking down the stairs from her apartment and the 4th step from the top gave way. She fell thru but caught herself (THANK GOD!) on the next step below and managed to pull herself back up. And that was no small task 'cause she's in the same weight class as me at 300lbs+. She's bruised from head to toe and she sprained her wrist but she's doing ok. It could have been much worse. We're just so thankful she wasn't seriously hurt. Well, I gotta go. I'm due back over there but I wanted to check in with everyone. I've missed you all!! I hope you're all doing well. :) xoxoxo |

Yeeeaaah! Good for you, mollymouser! Welcome, alwaysinvogue! I'm glad you'll be sharing this journey with us. I think you'll find this to be a pretty positive, upbeat and always supportive place. Good luck to you on your journey! 12 cups of water down! Haven't exercised today though :( Feeling blah! OMG- did a new video last night....er, um.....tried to. Man was it tough! Thought I'd share a sweet moment that came from the experience though. My son, who had been watching me said, when he noticed me struggling, "It's ok, Mom, you can do it! Just a couple more. Keep trying!" And after I had finished and collapsed on the floor, he wrapped his arm around me (well, half of me :)) and said, "Don't you worry, Mom, you'll be doing it just like her in no time!" Ok....all together now....aaaaahhhhh! :) .......ok, maybe not, maybe it's just me!? :) No matter. I thought it was really sweet. He made my night! LOL, gals! &nbs p;Keep up the good work! |

Man, you gals are all so awesome! Thanks for all the positive feedback! ajjciir -I'm so happy for you! My husband and I tried for 4 years before we had our first and only child. He's 7 now and we've been trying all this time for another one w/ no luck. I can only imagine how you're feeling. I've wondered what would happen with my weight loss goals if I became pregnant now. I'm sure that you're a strong woman though and you'll continue to be healthy for yourself and your growing family. Isn't that so cool?! Your growing family....CONGRATULATIONS again! renastar23-I completely agree with sabineyvr! I went thru the exact same thing w/ my 2 best girl friends. Luckily for me they were both very understanding and supportive. I just explained to them that those drinks don't offer me anything positive. All I get is empty calories (I don't need or want) and more time pounding the pavement! Good luck to you! I hope your friends come around. You may have to talk w/ them about the question sabineyvr posed. Ask them what kind of friends they wantto be to you and what kind of friends they think they are? I measured my...... and in 2 and a half weeks I am..... chest: down 1.5" hips: down 1" waist: down 1" I have questions!! When I log my food, at the top of the page it shows a pie and my daily percentages for fat, carbohydrates and protein. What should they be? And, what should my daily intake be? sodium? cholesterol? fiber? &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; |

feeling guilty..... Hey! Hope you're all doing well! I had a bad night (Sat). Went WAY over my calorie goal for the day-like by 700. :( Too easily influenced by others during Girls Night Out!! That's an excuse, huh? Oh well, trying to not beat myself up too badly. Got right back on track today! :) Drank 10 Cups of water so far. My husband is really enjoying this! He's been laughing it up all weekend 'cause I have to piddle every 30min. Anyway, I'll get my measurements tomorrow. REALLY NOT looking forward to that! The idea is kinda painful! I haven't measured now in 3 weeks. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised though? Yeah... we'll go with that! Think positive thoughts! SKINNYthoughts!! :) LOL xoxoxo - cmcole

Hi ajjciir! Welcome mommabear2i! Congratulations on your nice week! (Already down 4.5lbs). Keep up the good work! Hey everybody! After reading more of your entries I decided it might be good for me to set some more serious kind of goals. It's kinda scary. I'm afraid that if I don't reach them I might become too discouraged. Maybe with your support that wont be the case!? You remember my Starting Weight?...371.1lbs (9/6/07) & nbsp; &nbs p; & nbsp; &nbs p; & nbsp; Highest Weight EVER: 387lbs (7/25/07) Down 16lbs! Mini Goals: 1st Goal Weight: 345lbs by Jan'08...You know, that's what I weighed 7 yrs. ago 9 months pregnant.
