Hi everyone, Just wanted to check in! We are going into a new week. I hope to be telling you all I reached my goal of a 2 pound loss this week. I also plan on working out at least 4 times this week (45 minutes each). Anyone else have any goals for the week? Sammii08-We have to stop using "baby weight" as our excuse, right? We can do it! |

Hello all.......I am also looking to lose between 35-40 lbs in this year. I am a mom of 2 boys, 10 and 6. I am tired of using my pregnancies as excuses for my weight. Obviously it has been a while since I was pregnant Foxymama...you and I are in the same boat. I did so well over the summer into fall then lost all motivation and gained 7 pounds. Stats are: CW 179 GW 140-145 Height 5'9" Let's keep each other motivated for our weight loss and hopefully soon we will be the "30 Pounds to Lose" thread!

I make my stock the same way. I have always considered it to have the same or alittle more calories and fat as the Swanson's Natural Goodness Broth, with the exception of the Sodium. I just cannot imagine it having much fat if you scrape all of it off the top. The stats are: 1 cup = serving 15 cals 0 fat 1g carbs 3g protein Obviously this is just a guess, but I hope it is helpful :) |

Hello everyone! It looks like we have quite a few successes and even more people joining everyday! Just a reminder (if I read Bigloser's post correctly)....our next weigh in day is October 1. That means we all need to be focused this weekend and hopefully everyone will report a loss towards the 1/1/08 goal date!
Have a great weekend and I am looking forward to hearing everyone's good news on Monday!

Congrats to everyone that has posted losses today! Your hard work and diligence is paying off. I personally am a little frustrated. I have been beyond diligent in my food choices, caloric intake and exercise and I was up 1.5 pounds today (176.5) When I weighed last Friday I was 175. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I will continue to work hard, it would just be nice to see some results. Thanks for listening and again CONGRATS to everyone that was able to report good news! |

Doomie I think you and I are twins....with a few differences.......... I am 35 years old 175 Current Weight 235 Hightest weight when pregnant with my first son (obviously that is our biggest difference ) 150 is my goal weight (yours is a little higher) I am medium frame and you said you are small frame Pretty close though.......not to mention my husband is from Canton and we are Indians, Browns and Buckeye fans. I am extremely impressed that you have exceeded your goals for each month. You must be very proud of yourself! Nice to find a twin (or pretty close). Keep up the good work.

Bigloser32 I am so glad you got this started. I am psyched about the weigh ins. So we will all be posting our stats again on the 19th? From going through the posts it looks like there are quite a few people with similar stats and/or goals. That is too cool in helping us stay motivated! I agree that it will be extra helpful having our group during the holidays and even Halloween. I look forward to posting on the 19th.....hopefully I will have some different stats to share. Everyone have a great night and keep your eye on the prize (your favorite skinny jeans!)
