| Weight Loss | How do you portion out your cal inatake? | Jun 23 2006 14:08 (UTC) |

| Frozen dinners. They are fairly cheap now too. My husband cooks at night too, but I have trouble with portion control, so almost everything that I eat is pre-measured for me. Instand Oatmeal packs for breakfast, those 100 calorie snack packs, and the frozen dinners....I don't have to cook and worry about picking while cooking, and when the food is gone, is when I'm done. This is the easiest diet I have ever been on. | |||
| Weight Loss | How many lbs is a size 14/13? | Jun 01 2006 18:33 (UTC) |

| I heard that 10 lbs is one size...I'm not sure where I heard that though, and it has proven true for me. Everytime I loose 10-15 lbs I go down one size. | |||
| Weight Loss | Dizzy~~what food can help me stop feeling dizzy? | May 25 2006 13:37 (UTC) |

| I feel dizzy from time to time, and my doctor told me that I had slight allergies this time of year. I have fluid in my sinus and inner ear which causes the dizziness. This happens especially when I'm getting up from lying down, and when I'm lying down from sitting up...I would go to the doctor though, because sometimes the dizziness can get dibilitating. | |||

| I was bummed at needing to weigh 125 lbs. That one tells me I need to weigh 100. I would be the same size as my 7 year old neice. | |||

| Where do you find the 90% fat free cheese? The lowest I can find is 75% and it is the block kind, not the slices. | |||

| I use the Walk Away the Pounds tapes in my bedroom. The only space you need is about 2 steps in front, and one step to the side. There is a 3 pack that goes from 1 - 3 miles, and I purchased the 4 mile after the 3 mile wasn't enough. | |||

| I make small goals throughout the months. I went to Florida at the begining of April, now I'm looking forward to meeting some old friends of my husbands in May, and then my friend is getting married in July. Every event I will be able to wear something smaller. Also my co-worker has been INSTRUMENTAL in my success. We made up a contest for 5 weeks at a time, and put in $10 a week. At end of it, whoever looses the most gets the money. We tied the first time and split the money, but I think that I'm going to win this time. | |||

| I have a sister that started dieting a month before me, and has only lost 12 pounds. I have lost 30, and I really hate it when she tells me that she's going to give me all her clothes that are suposedly "Falling off her". Sure I was a bit bigger than her when I started, but I am deffinately smaller than her now. Her giving me diet advice is getting on my nerves too. But hey, that just motivates me even more to blast by her so that there are no questions as to who is smaller....Must be a sibling thing. | |||

| I've noticed that the more weight I loose, the more wrinkles I have around my eyes, especially when I smile. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what works best around the eyes. | |||
| Weight Loss | Diet Pills? Has anyone had any luck? | Mar 07 2006 20:35 (UTC) |

| I was on Meridia a few years ago at one of my attempts to loose weight. It was prescribed by my doctor and she kept a careful watch on me. I lost a lot of weight, I thought, all I remember was her shocked at my loss of 27 pounds in 2 months. As my blood pressure increased, we decided to I should stop taking them. I have been dieting now for 5 weeks and have lost 18 pounds using NO pills...So the pills were not the reason why I was loosing weight, but they were the cause of High Blood pressure. I want to be small just like the next guy, but it wouldn't look so good if I were to have a stroke and half my face drooped. | |||
| Weight Loss | square meals or snacking? | Mar 07 2006 20:26 (UTC) |
|
| I totally agree with kutie5...I eat 3 meals a day and a morning, afternoon, and sometimes an evening snack, and I'm never starved. I was finding at the begining of my diet that I was so hungry by the time lunch time rolled around that I was shaking. I hold off as long as possible before eating breakfast, usually around 9:30 at the latest, and by doing that I can space out my other meals so that I'm never half crazed with hunger. By maintaining that level I think that you are less likely to pick at things. | |||
