Hey I did something similar. got sick a month ago and have been struggling to get it right again. But tonight I went for a walk and tomorrow again back to the work out-while I'm off the weekend and can concentrate on me. So it does happen. I look at the clothes, then look in the mirror-for me I have my daughters wedding next may-hey she purposefully bought my dress a size smaller, Brat!!! We all have our struggle-but keep goin' for the gold girl!

The food journal is the biggie for me.  And when I returned to this site,  it was because of all the great supportors here, and the burn meter!  I seem to be able to easily find that 500 ccal deficit(sweet spot) between calories burned-calories in each day with the tools here.  I simply understand my nutrition on this site better than the others, as you have found.   good luck!  I keep motivated just reading everyones successes each day!

  1. Returned myself.  Just trialed WW but did not understand the points system very well in correlation with calories burned.  This is the best site support iI have found so I am sticking with the one I understand the best!  And the people are a great resource and motivation here as well.  Good luck!  You will love it here!Cool  I use alot D Austin videos and Walfit by L Sansone , both are very good cardio.

Weight Gain i wanna die.... Mar 30 2008

ulcers can cause all this bloat and gas feeling until they heal.  as well as any medicine taken for ulcers.  extreme thirst and weight loss can be signs of Diabetes as well.  ask your DR about that.  usually to heal ulcers,  they advise 5-6 small Bland meals a day. and it usually takes a few weeks to heal ulcers.  so i'm not suprised to hear you are having all these gas bloating problems.  you should consider working closely with your DR about these sx you have to be certain they are not related to true physical illnesses.  I am a nurse, and personally have suffered from serious Gastric problems I am still treated for.  If your physical problems are disrupting your quality of life, then go to your DR and even second opinions are good also to consider.  good luck and hope you get on the road to recovery soon!

Weight Loss I quit smoking 45 days ago, gaining weight Jan 11 2008

I quit nearly 3 years ago-and i won't sugar coat it.  i never had an extra pound on me till i quit.  now i'm trying to sustain motivation to take 40# or so off.  keeping fresh fruit really curbs my sweet tooth.  I have a bad sweet tooth since i quit smoking.  I 've had other past smokers tell me your taste buds come back a little too good when you quit.  But i will get this weight down eventually,  and I never want to smoke again!!!  I am greatful to not worry about buying them running out of them and all the excess cleaning to get rid of the smell of them.  for me , i feel i have just replaced one anxiety outlet for another-food.  so i am working on relearning a new way to do that.  but i don't want cigs any more!  Hang in there and don't smoke.  one thing at a time!      &nbs p; jennifer lanteri

I lost it when the family came in for the holiday.  and i'm back on the restart.  somehow we have to teach ourselves to say NO.  the bad stuff is everywhere whether we like it or not, at work, the grocery store etc., besides home.  this is a willpower issue.  i try to eat something i can have that is sweet to kill the craving. and it usually works-unless i let my willpower guard down.   if you eat yoplait lite yogurts  they have some great flavors like boston cream pie and white choc n strawberries-it really helps alot.  hang in there

the name mary-linda or belle-linda or linda will not flow right as a middle. make it a hyphenated middle name is a suggestion.
