Does the participation usually drop off like this or is it just that time of the year with summer vacation that causes people to miss some weeks?Let's go everyone I've really enjoyed this little game it is quite motivating to me, if anyone isn't participating because of embarrassing numbers or something just go ahead and post them no one judges you if anything they will encourage you! |

So what did everyone think of the BL finale? I thought that the people's weight loss wasn't as dramatic as it has been in the past. I mean it was still a lot, but I thought the people kind of looked like they did as they were leaving the ranch. Don't get me wrong they all looked great, but except for Helen I didn't think the WOW factor was there. I am probably just being critical though. Oh and Jerry he looked amazing. |

I am always amazed on the Biggest Loser when they are upset about losing 3 or 4 pounds. But I guess if you were working out so many hours and had such a structured environment it would be frustrating not to lose more. I usually do really good for the first few weeks of my diet. Than it seems as if I just get bored and stop trying. But this time I really do think it is different because I really WANT it this time. So to anyone on the team do NOT feel bad about losing one pound. Everyone's body reacts differently to dieting. And a lot of you guys have been dieting for a while and have already lost quite a few pounds, everyone hits a plateau from time to time. I am just excited that our team seems to be super excited about losing that is the important thing. justsmileandnod - You could always go bowling, miniture golf, movies, dancing, laser tag.. so many things, just be creative! |

Alrighty, It is my turn now to introduce myself. I am 24 years old and have been overweight pretty much my entire life. I have had my first child and didn't gain but about 20 pounds throughout the pregnancy, but I am ready to get off that weight and alot more than that. I want to be able to play with my son more, I mean I do as is a lot. I am a stay at home mom and I love LOVE being a Mommy. But I know that I need to lose weight in order to get around better with him and to get him a little sister sometime in the future. My biggest struggle is food. I LOVE food. I love cooking food, baking food and tasting food. I have yo-yoed dieted my whole life and am finally ready to commit to a lifestyle change. My husband is majorly skinny and doesn't need to lose weight and loves to eat eat eat eat eat eat eat so that doesn't help things. I guess I just need this to keep me motivated and accountable.
What percentage of carbs, protein and such does everyone try to get in a day? That is something that I have been wondering about lately. |
