Weight Loss Did anyone see the Victoria's Secret Show???? Dec 13 2007

They're not gross, they're beautiful.

Maybe in your eyes they're gross, but you cant say that they are, or they wouldnt be models.

Everyone has their own tastes, I could say what I think is gross but I wouldnt because it's offensive and it's unfair to those people who look like that or want to look like that.

Weight Loss Aiming for a UK size 12-14... Nov 30 2007

It's all about how you want to look, at the end of the day, what you feel you're going to be comfortable at.

I'm a size 10/12 on top and a size 12/14 on the bottom and I still think I'm too big, but that's for my size. My best friend's a size 16 on the bottom, 14 on the top and she loves her body and she suits being that size.

I personally want to be a size 0, because that's how I would be happy being.

I hate it when people go on about how people shouldnt be skinny etc etc and size 0 is wrong. No, size 0 isnt wrong, neither is size 16, it's all about how a person is comfortable being, being skinny isnt wrong, unless you're obsessively skinny, with eating dissorders etc, but being curvy isnt either.

I usually weigh myself usually more then twice a day, it's like an obsession and I cant help it.

I usually go on the first thing in the morning weight though as my official weight for that day.

Weight Loss What is your incentive in regards to your weight loss? Nov 19 2007

I have a few reasons, and here they are:

-I'm sick of being the "fat one"
-I want to wear anything I want to wear instead of things that cover up my fat bits.
-I want people to look at me and my boyfriend and think we make a good couple, instead of looking at us and saying "Why's he going out with her?"
-The satisfaction of seeing the numbers go down is amazing.
-I want people to look at me and go "wow".
-I'm not lying here, I like the attention and recognition from others. It's brilliant when people go "wow, you're looking really thin".
-I want perfection, I want to be as perfect as I can be.

There's more like but yeah, you get the idea. Smile

I've lost 15lbs, and I get the comments that I do look thinner, especially when people hug me, and I can wear clothes I couldnt wear before because they were too small.

But, I fail to see where they're seeing the thin-ness. My neck is a little thinner, that's all I can see. Haha

Weight Loss Starving your self to lose weight does it work? Sep 27 2007

Having an extreamly low calorie diet is very hard for someone who doesnt have a very, very high ammount of self control.

Take everyone's advice and just eat healthily and loose weight slowly and safely. Fasting and keeping very low cal can effect your body in so many different and harmful ways, and could end up getting you an eating dissorder.

Oh, and as for you and your mum, I'm 17 also with a very overweight mum, who insists on buying the most awful ammount of take-away foods and cakes, biscuits and the like, but there's an easy way around it, just say no. It actually feels a lot better then eating all that junk-food and feeling guilty about it. Ask if you could maybe cook your own meals from now on. Get some recipies that are healthy, tasty and nutritious.

Oh, and if you cant live without sprite, try a sugar free variety with lower calories? And make sure you drink plenty of water.
