b: coffee, scrambled eggs (one whole, one white) with salsa

snack: almonds

lunch: half orange, mini pretzels, 1/2 buffalo chicken sub from subway

snack: 1/2 buffalo chicken sub from subway

dinner: hopefully fish and veggies

 

did cardio for like 2.25 hours today so Im gonna have some desert

Im just finishing week 3, no real problems so far. Its weird because I can run 1-2 miles without stopping but throwing that walking in there really messes me up.. I dunno.. Im a little nervous for Week 4, I do so much other excersize and work that my legs are often dead before even starting. Today was easier than day 1.

I also weigh 320 lbs, so Im a little worried that I wont be able to make it through this program all the way. But I am gonna do it and if need be I will repeat a week. (Is that what you are supposed to do?)

I know Im gonna finish but its gonna be a struggle.

B: Oatmeal w/ Mixed Berries

S: Peanuts 1oz, 1/2 of roast beef sandwich on one peice of whole wheat bread

L: Salad (mixed greens) with Balsamic Vinergerette, 1/2 of Grilled Chicken and Swiss Panini with mustard Aioli, 1/2 cup cole slaw, 1 oz of home made potato chips

S: 1 cup of Crispex with 1/2 cup of milk

D: BBQ Turkey Tenderloin with BBQ Sauce, cup of honeydew, strawberries and grapes, broccli, green beans, and snow peas.

S: Pretzels and more crispex most likely..

Im at 1638 right now and will eat that snack before bed.

Workout: 20 MINS Laps in pool, 40 minutes of swimming and wrestling around with my girlfirend in the pool.... Taking a break from excersize today becuase I just realized I had been in the gym for like 17 days straight, body needs a little rest...

Wow! Jayne and Brett congradulations! I am so proud of both of you and everyone else who stuck with it. Well after I stopped logging on to this site and posting in this thread Ive been going up and down and up and down. Right now Im at about 305 lbs. 13 lbs higher than my lowest, but I didnt let it get completely out of control.

Ive moved to San Diego for school with some friends from Northern California. Its been pretty crazy.. Really hard to stay focused on being healthy in my house. But it is no excuse, I know it can be done because it has been done here. Over the summer I partied to hard and have found myself doing the same a little bit down here. Right now I am going to school full time taking 16 units. Working 30 hours a week. Finding time for the gym is really hard. But luckily for me my job keeps me on my feet and moving. It just started and I know Im gonna lose a bunch of weight with it.

Im gonna join the other thread for this new year and hopefully stay on longer than I did last time.. Glad to see everyone is doing well. You guys all really helped me out when I was in L.A. and just starting this diet thing.

awww man well i know im super late for may weigh in but I was only down 2 lbs to 295. I guess its better than a gain. very disapointing. I havent been excersizing due to being sick and partying to much.. summer is full of temptation. Im trying to turn it around right now however, even though I just pigged out for dinner.. so hard, im sticking in there.

I've been so busy but wanted to check in and let everyone know that I lost another 4.5 lbs last week which officially put me under 300 lbs.. and boy did I celebrate, pretty much had a free weekend.. where I wasnt to bad just had a meal each day of stuff i wanted (burger..pizza) however I did drink, way too much. but it was worth it, had an awesome time and now Im back on track.. under 300 feels great. 1st time in 10 years (12 y/o)

I also finally cut that ugly mop Id been growing off my head and updated my picture if anyone wants to see..

keep up the goodwork in april everybody

down 6 lbs this week, at 301 (almost there i can taste it) today has been hard so far, went to my friends baby shower (lots of food) and now im soposed to go to my buddys b-day bbq.. too much food..

last week was disapointed.. down only .5 pound, and was really pretty good all week long... I didnt get regular sleep and ate taco bell for a couple meals, but always stayed within my allowance and worked out like crazy.. so it was disapointing.. hahahah hopefully this week will make up for last. I cant wait to get under 300, like you have no idea!  Ive stayed true to the pomise I made myself and my hair is still growing. its crazy and has never been this long, im also growing ouit the beard.. as soon as Im under 300 its all coming off.. hahahah looking like Grizzly Adams over here. LOL.. be good everybody, Ill drop in on friday to let u know how the week went

down 7 lbs this week!!!!!!!!!!!

100 lbs total lost since August 2007.. feels pretty great... Ive been having 5 small meals a day with a couple snacks averaging 1800-2000 cals a day and its really helping me out.. anybody stuck should maybe try this Ive lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks doing this after staying the same and gaining for the two previous months.. its so nice to see a positive result after being stuck for so long, I was starting to get very discouraged.. Im down 12 pant sizes (54 to 42) and shirts from (5xl to 3xl and even 2xl)

so Wow! my goal since I started is almost here.. Under 300 will be a very great day.. this thread, this site, and all of you have been such an inspiration thank you so much (esp. jayne, brett, and molly) thanks a million guys..

 

Keep up the goodwork everybody.. I will do the same!

Im in the same perdiciment here at home.. Im having tacos.. 2 corn smaller tortillas, 3-4 oz of steak, 1 oz meixcan cheese, 2 tbsp light sour cream, lettuce, and salsa, with a salad as a side.. whole thing will be 500-600 cals.. not to bad

problem with pizza is all the oil the use on the crust, the cheese, the thick crust, and the toppings.. some places if u ask will use a smaller portion of oil on the pan, light cheese, and thin crust. The toppings are up to u to decide. Theres definately a healthy way to eat pizza. A personal thin King Arthur Sumpreme from Round Table has 720 calories. For me thats a great reward for dinner and still fits into my calories for the day, granted it has more fat then a usual dinner for me. But still around the same calories..

I lost 4 lbs. this week! and today is my birthday.. didnt meet my goal of under 300 for today but I have lost 90 lbs. since starting on 9/1.. Which is great. So today Im going out for Sushi with my baby girl and will probably pig out.. Then were going out for drinks and I will be getting loaded to celebrate lol... March has been great so far..

Pico De Gallo is the best salsa ever and I put hella all over these breakfast tacos I made and it was so good oh my god. I scrambled a couple eggs and threw in some tri tip, turkey bacon, and deli ham. A little hash browns. Threw that on a couple tortillas with a little cheese, light sour cream, pico de gallo, and tapito.. its a wrap.. so good and bomb.. wow. i want one now

lost 5 lbs last week, finally again.. yeah! hahahah weigh in is on friday like always and its my 22cnd birthday... so hopefully I lose again and im gonna get smashed and eat everything but oh well, lol.. Im definately not gonna meet my b-day goal of being under 300.. kinda feel like a failure, but at least Im still on track for the most part. hahahha.. FEB sucked but the future will be great.. good luck to everyone

my last two weigh ins sucked.. gained 5 lbs in two weeks.. When all I had been doing is upping my already rigourous excersize regime.. which had me really upset and wondering what had happened.. I mean I averaged 1900 cals for those two weeks and was burning 4200 on average for those weeks.. how the hell could I have gained right? Well Im over it and havent weighed for 10 days. Also the past two weekends have been pretty much free for me, which I know is horrible. But Im back on track for now. Just being back at 326 will make me happy for febuary.. Somethings gotta give here. Cuz I was working my ass off and gaining... So frustrating and discouraging, my god..

time means nothing.. 8:30 to someone might still be early.. just use your head and try not to eat a large meal right before bed...

updating for Febuary myself.. very pleased with this weeks numbers after gaining last week.. down 12 lbs this week. I was real worried becuase I made the big move from L.A. to SF this week. Was able to stay on track and made it to the gym everyday. Its been raining hella so I havent been walking to much, but it didnt make a difference really this week.

 

SW: 405 LBS

JAN 1st: 350 lbs.

FEB 1st: 326.5

Weight Lost in JAN: 24.5 lbs

 

helluva job Big Brett, keep up the goodwork brother. Cant wait to see the rest of our numbers.

and

1 peice of larger wheat toast w/ tsp of strawberry jelly and 2 slices of turkey bacon

I gained a pound... what the hell? Im crushed right now! I dont unsterstand how I could gain with all the excersize Im doing and only eating what im soposed to, no cheating. This just makes me think its impossible to lose. Awwww man.. After last week I was sure it was gonna be another good one. I dont know what to do now. Drop the cals back down or stick with this and hope it starts working... Im so disapointed in myself and I dont feel like I should be.. This sucks..

Its been a few hours and I feel a little bit better but everytime I walk by the scale I curse at it lol. Just got back from the gym and ran longer than normal. I fealt like quitting this morning. But Im gonna stay on it and hopefully next weeks weigh in will make up for this crappy one. Im gonna drop the cals down to 1600-1900 a day like I did last week, keep up with the excersize and have another good week. However Im getting very muscular. Incresing the weight in every lift excersize I do. My calves, chest, and arms are getting huge. My clothes are looser than ever and my face & waist are very thin looking. So Im doing something right. Trying to look at the positives. A week from now seems so long to wait and see if this is gonna work. I see why people weigh daily, but I think Id be even more obsessive about it if I did.

I kinda do the subway diet.. hahahhaha just because I walk to get my lunch everyday. Subway is about a 1.5 miles away so there and back is 3. Across the street is Ralphs where I get sandwiches to. And a little closer is a sushi place I go to. So its one of those three everyday for me. I get a turkey on wheat (6in) with provolone and no mayo. Its 365 cals with the apple I eat with it and only like 5.50. Pretty good deal, tasty, and filing.

just wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing? Weight loss and in Life... also wanted to bump are amazing thread up to the top cuz we were laggin'. This week has been really good for me. Ive been walking to get my lunch everyday which is usually about 3 miles depending on where I go. Elipitical every day for 25 minutes. Weights every other day for about a 1/2 hour. Basketball almost everyday for about and hour or a little less. I've been mixing in some new food to which is nice. Had Round Table Pizza 2 nights, chicken and brown rice a couple nights, subway, In and Out Burger, and making Chicken Parm tonight for dinner. Ive tried to up the cals a little this week and its helping me out very much with energy. Havent had and light headedness or those tingling sensations I was having throughout my body (only a little bit when I first start running on the elipticial) Been making sure to eat 5 servings (at least) of fruits and veggies. Drinking tons of water, and eating throughout the day. Been sleeping like crazy too (today 12 hours) hashahhaa.. With no school and work right now weight loss is my number 1 priorty which is awesome. However Im moving back to the SF Bay Area again this week from Los Angeles. Im sad to leave. But LA is so expensive. I got alot of work already lined up, going back to school right away, and have a free place to stay so Im trying to save. Let's see if I can keep up on the diet and excersize. Im worried. At least with school Ill be walking around alot. One job will be very active like physical manual labor and the other is desk work. The diet should be good but Im worried about partying to much. I am 21 and all.

Weigh in is wednesday and I know its gonna be another big week cuz I can see and feel it. Hopefully not as much as last week (14 lbs) Ive been eating 1800-2150 cals a day and I think its the best number for now. My clothes dont fit me at all anymore which sucks especially since I stay fitted and spend to much money on clothes. I went from a 5xtall t-shirt to a 3xtall. 52 jeans to 44.. luckily for me my momma is a beast with the sewing maching and made some of my expensive jeans smaller for me. Now shes gonna hook up the jerseys.. Love my mom. She's lost about 100 lbs with diet and excersize too over the last 1 1/2 years. Just gotta get Pops on the program. Ill be back on wednesday with the good news on the weigh in.
