I sent this to someone via mail box, but here is an answer to the "find by grade" question:

You had asked about how to search for foods by grade. I finally found an answer...

Go to the foods tab and click on Vegetables, for example. Then enter in "lettuce" in the search bar, once the list comes up, under the big word Search, there is "Order by Relevance/Grade". If you click on Grade, it will rearrange the list by grade.

You can do the same thing in your food log. I entered in Bumble Bee to find this particular tuna I was eating and then I could sort by grade to know what item to purchase next time.

Hope this helps.

*Whining*. I too gave up cheese. I was up to about a 4 string cheese a day habit, accompanied by any amount of "Mouse Cheese" (block mild cheese) I had my mind set for (ie: 1/2 a block!) I just love it.

I don't have any recipes or replacements for cheese...sorry. Just wanted to let you know you aren't alone.

When I look at string cheese at 60 cal and a yogurt or SF pudding at 60 cal, I have to consider what is going to make me feel fuller. Unfortunately, I haven't had cheese in 2 weeks!

The best information I can offer.

Run, don't walk, to the nearest Pier 1, Kiss the Cook, Williams Sonoma, even Wally World, I am sure, and pick yourself up a digital thermometer. The kind that can stay in the meat.

I have not over or undercooked a thing since buying one. Although, I did ruin one while leaving it in the meat that was under the broiler.

The package should tell you the suggested temps for most meats.

I know it sounds cliche, but using a smaller plate does help. The appearance of more food seems to work.

The veggie tray is a great idea, if bought, dump the dip. I am new to this scene, but I have been snacking on only veggies most of the day (instead of my usual 4 string cheeses!).

That being said, I don't know why I am a glutton for punishment each morning and spend $1.96 on a large iced tea from McD's...I KNOW it costs nothing of the sort! Undecided

Original Post by pchca:

i had a friend that was a manager at mcdonald's for a few years, and she told me that it costs mcdonald's FOUR cents to sell you a large coke.  yeah, 4 cents.
