Molly I've just visited your yahoo blog, and noticed that you like the thomas english muffins...

I'm sorry but everytime I see a pack of those things I just have to SCREAM!!!

You see the picture on the wrapper shows a rather lovely picture of another english treat, one that I drool over... the english  CRUMPET!    Yum,yum  what I would give to have a crumpet or two.. or three...   With loads of melted not at all good for me BUTTER!

I miss Crumpets terribly and can not get them anywhere in SC...

So my Rant for tonight is why do Thomas English Muffins have a picture of a Crumpet on them? The two products are TOTALLY... TOTALLY different in texture and taste!!

Well I had to get that off my chest

By the way love your blog!

I can totally relate with you on the clothes sizes, just this morning I was looking for my bright red work blouse which I haven't seen in a while (I have 4 of the same blouse, which I have desinated for work. 2 different blues, 1 beige and the red one). Anyway while searching my bedroom, one dumping ground after another I ended up in the closet where I saw my old suit/jumpsuit... its a purple jumpsuit that looks like a trouser suit with a beige blouse.  Well I pulled it out and held it up infront of my DH and annonced "One day I will wear this again... it'll probaly be back in fashion!"  it too has an elastic waist band, but thats more for the effect than to give me room to squeeze into it.

Molly... you had me in stitches with the RTMT, and of course everyone else in the family wanted to know why i was laughing, so I've printed it and now we are all LOL!

I too dont like the bad news of the tape measure... that's properly why I can never find any kind of tape(RTMT or otherwise), when trying to measure household objects or space.  It took over a week to find out how tall I was for this site.

My wonderful almost 13 year is so thoughtful... she made some jello yesterday and offered me some.  Of course I said yes to a small portion, but since we've been out all day and I've not made them do their chores today, we have no clean bowls.  But my child hand washes two bowls and brings them to me to make sure they are clean enough...

Now here she stands with a nice clean bowl, wiping it dry with her T_SHIRT!!!!

What is it with kids? Are clothes dish cloths?

So I say as calmly as I can, "well it was 'til you did that?"

"Oh!" she says "This ones mine, I'm going to dry yours with paper towel."

Humm, do you believe her? cos I was doubtful and  ended up fixing my own portion just to be on the safe side.

But why? do they do this!!!!!

(I'm sure I lost at least 50 Calories ranting and dealing with this tonight)

Hi, I'm new to CC (first week and yet to find any friends Cry) and I have to say you have had me in LOL (which in turn had the kids saying "whats so funny?") with this rant section.

I have over 100lbs to lose and will visit your rant section often, for plenty of laughs.

My husband is in the gaurd and so he to is gone from home from time to time also, normally this is a time when I don't eat at all for a day or so and then binge on all the wrong things.  But you sound like a much stronger person than me!

I also wanted to add I'd buy your cookbook or watch your show if you ever do either!

I just started my diet and I have a very long way to go,  searching for a snack food to replace my candy/chocolate cravings.  I'm eating dried unsweetened banana chips, from my local health food store.  While it may not be the ideal snack, its stops my cravings and the benefits are way better than candy or chocolate. So I say go ahead eat a banana and enjoy!!!
