| well, and see living on a farm I've grown up eating a lot of meat. We never really grew vegetables - we bought those from the store. When the fruits and veggies ran out what we ALWAYS still had was meat. I've gone most of my life eating mainly meats and cheeses and not even thinking about getting in the other stuff (other than getting mashed potatoes and french fries for my 2 veggies at the cafeteria). But I bought a lot of soy/veggie meatless meats tonight and I was looking at the boxes and most of them are lower fat, almost no/completely no cholesterol (which is one thing I'm worried about, my cholesterol), tons of protein, and most of them are called veggie (btw, can someone tell me the difference between eating something soy and something veggie? that confuses me...) which would imply that I'd be getting more nutrition than I normally would. Thank you for sharing with me, btw. | |||

| girl, I totally understand what you are doing here and I'm behind you 150% of the way... and reading through the posts between the picture of the belly button and the other girl - if this post is causing THAT much controversy then this is obviously the right thing to have on here, lol. I should be back on here, I like this post... | |||

| I like this, it's pretty cool. it's nice to be able to hang around and discuss with people who have the same problem AND are going through the experiences now. I do like the other forums because the older adults have a lot of experience and advice but this is pretty awesome down here. | |||

| Weight Loss | What are your "realistic" holiday goals? | Dec 04 2007 05:05 (UTC) |

| My holiday goals are to not over eat... meaning for me to listen to my body and hear what it wants to eat and how much it wants to eat and for me to obey it. My stomach has the right idea most of the time it's just my eyes tell my brain that there is something else it wants (despite that my body doesn't want it). My goal is to spend time enjoying the people and not just enjoying the turkey and the macaronni and cheese that my aunt makes. My main goal is to remember that Christ is the reason for the season (cliche, I know but still...) and that he is the one who gave me this body and he expects me to be taking better care of it. | |||
| Weight Loss | NOT calorie Counting - REVIEWS | Nov 25 2007 05:08 (UTC) |

| my problem is being able to remember to count. Half the time I don't count because either calorie count doesn't have it and the company won't supply me with a count to use or I planned out the day but like anybody to attempts to plan things out... it changes! I'm pretty sure if I committed to it completely, I wouldn't be able to stop but that's just part of an addictive nature (and an addictive nature is what partially got me here, lol) | |||

| Add some beef or some beans (southern ranch, red, or whatever you like). I used to add some beef and then some green beans or some other canned vegetable and then drizzle some tereaki sauce over it. It's sooo good. One of my favorite meals actually. | |||

Dear Body, I'm sorry that I've been ashamed of you for the past 12 years. I'm sorry that I've used bad things in my life as an excuse to mistreat you and use you to hide in. I'm sorry that I allowed my grandpa's words to sink into my heart and I'm sorry that I somehow allowed food to become a healer instead of a nurisher. I'm sorry about the ugly things I say about you, you are beautiful because you are what God gave me. I'm sorry I have mistreated you. Love, Sara |
