Thanks for that avria you learn something new everyday, that was very interesting and as I weight myself in a scientific and consistent way as possible I had hoped for a good scientific answer like this. not able to afford any bf% scales at the moment, I have had some in the past and would love get some again. For now I will make do with my straight forward scales and trusty tape measure. Good new I am not 185lb I am 178lb bad news I will have to sneak around for my monday morning ritual. |

I used to suffer from nigth terrors and they are the most dredful thing I have ever experianced its like I am completly consumed by intense fear. If I am alone I have had to sleep with some form of ligth on. I have done this since I was 17 which was the first time it happend just in case it happens again. I have always felt laughable too but I once watched a TV show which described what happened to me and from that I got a name for it and reasurence that this sort of thing is not as abnormal as I thought. I never used to be scared of the dark but I am now like when I go downstairs for a drink or something and this is the worst thng. |

I guess living in england I know that exercising outside is to unpredictable to plan a routine so I excercise indoors and go out when I get the chance.

| Weight Loss | Zig-zagggers! What should I expect? | Jul 18 2008 23:47 (UTC) |

I naturaly zigzag I cant help it im much too scatty and never have the same sort of day twice, my shifts at work dont help with this much. I find I lose between 1 - 2lb a week eat between 1100 kcal and 1900 kcal a day and burn between 1800 kcal - 3000kcal a day. Im 5'5 and 168lb. I dont think my body has a clue what im going to do next I dont think I do either ha ha. So far I haven't hit a platue which is a good thing but I do wish I could be a bit more normal and regular with my eating. Every time I go up or stay the same I usually have a completly rational explantion. My weight is all over the place during the week but I dont thinks thats unusual from what iv seen on hear and I tend to see by weigth loss results after low sodium days regardless of calories. I have lost 25lb with this method but there may be a pattern in there somewhere that even I don't know. |

| Weight Loss | Should i take Alli ? | Jul 18 2008 23:36 (UTC) |
11 |
These companys that make these claims always make me laugth, surley if you excercise and eat healthy you would lose weigth anyway. Ok I admit you could maintain or even gain weigth too but this and a diet cerial bar which claims can help reduce weigth with a calorie controlled diet. no way. Anyway in reply to the post I don't know anything about alli but I don't believe in diet pills and the whole anal leakage thing sounds nasty, I vote keep away. |

| Weight Loss | weightloss myth? | Jul 18 2008 23:26 (UTC) |

I heard this a diffrent version of this theory and was told that in winter we gain weight as the body requires more food to keep us warm but I have always been sceptical about this. Surley if our bodys requires us to eat more to keep warm and we do then this **** calories gained by eating more. Unless of course eating more mean an extra large chunk of cake. I personally find I get a natural instinct to lose weigth as soon as it hits march then begin to gain from September but I am much more active. |

Hey I forgot I posted this, my bf laugths at me for using the caplock key instead of the shift In face I never realised it was an alernative, started using it as an alternative to the cap key its kind of like getting used to the aero view on vista and remebering to actualy use it. Wow I now feel quite dumb for even posting this. I use the shift key like mad in photoshop as it seems to have a use for everything I guess I just picked it up in school as I was taugth to use that way and thought it was normal. |

Im 23 he is 27, we are into the same things and have mostly the same values the only thing is the subject of when i plan to become pregnant is always a hot topic when ever we visit his mothers, this started when I was 16 and he was 20 so maybe its just her. I did lie about his age to my mum but told her the truth on my 17th birthday, she still has no idea how we met then she would really flip even now. |

I love ordering online but I shop in the store I work and im only alowed to use my 10% discount in a physical store. With a budget like mine its the only way to do things.I do wish I could use it online to cut out the hassles of everything even though I live a 10 min walk away. Im also an amazon addict and love to buy books online too, I just love books period really but having one sent to your door is kind of like reciving a parcel of gifts. Nice to get a huge selection and much nicer prices. |

Sorry to hear that you are going through this I had to move house last year after similar drug house neighbours finaly started taking notice of me and my boyfreind rather than just focusing on there own drug fuelled street figths. I hope the police do something for you but to be honest I hold little hope. The final straw with my neighbors was that a guy broke in to my home with me and by boyfriend in it, he demanded money, food and to be allowed to make a phone call. He was already wanted by the police and when they tracked to phone call the police came rushing to my house to demand to know why we let him in and almost arrested my boyfriend but I got home in time to back up his story. While this is a UK incident and yours is a US im betting there is a massive difference in the police service so I have no advice in that area. Can you try to get them evicted maybe? Just wanted to say I know what your going through really |

I am 25lb ligther and I do feell happier in myself its the little things. I make milestones all along to weigh this much fit into those jeans but every so often I experiance a moment were if I was still as over weigth it would be diffrent. I dont think shifting the weigth will solve all my problems, if only that was the case. There are things in my life which make me quite unhappy at the moment. I do feel that getting down to my ideal weigth will help my self confidence and if I feel more confident then I belive good things will come. I feel happier in my physical self there was a time when walked to my local medical center but I felt so big like I was beginning to waddle. My BMI was about 34 at the time and I was in the middle of the obesity range enoght to be regarded as big but only bordering on that point. I knew I didnt want to get to the super obease range which my dr warned me I was heading towards. So while I dont think the weigth loss has maade me happy it hasnt got in the way and made me unhappy. |

I have a bf who tends to speak his mind and often without looking in the mirror first. On one hand its great he tell me the truth if I look great he tells me if not I dont even have to ask dose my butt look big in this as he has already told me so. Your not been silly at all I think he just needs a bucket of water throwing over his head to wake him up a bit. If hes into his health himself then surley he wants you to lose weigth at a speed which is not damaging to you. But if its for other reasons like he want a slim chick on his arm in front of his freinds then time to get seriose either you want me for me or not. Tell him to research weight loss particularly weight loss for women not because you want him to understand because you need his help and ego rubbing always dose the trick. The reason I say this is so he can learn a few things about safe and proper weight loss. |

Wow 7am - 9pm no one can accuse you of been lazy. I used to work out in the morning as I hear it helps raise the metabolism for the rest of the day. I stopped as it wore me out and I spent the rest of the day exhausted and switched to evening workout instead. Oddly enogth if I wait unit the evening to work out I must make sure its not too late or I will end up not been able to sleep at night. I have not so far found it effects my rate of weigth loss. believe me I have encountered plenty of corruption in developed countries too with regards to when you can take you breaks and working way over contracted hours every day of the week. Lucky my current job is better than that. |

Weekend are a bit of a mental block to me at the best of time but going without food for so long as the last straw. |

I really like techdogs I dea of writting a book or doing something else that is productive and can help you learn a new skill.
Shamefully I grauated exactly a year ago today and have always been determined not to let my skills learnt at uni die. Two months into living healthy I decided to update my portfolio and this meant putting my efforts into focusing on this and learning a new skill in my case learning 3D Drafting skills in AutoCAD. My point of this is there anything you can learn that would be really useful to you or that you have always wanted to try as having so much free time is a great for this.
