Hi, I am 9 weeks pregnant and am trying to stay at my currant weight till the end.  I weigh 230 right now.  My docotr is ok with me eating 1750 cals a day, I do allow myself to go up to 2000 if I feel the need but I try to make the extra cal be fruits or veggies.  I also have been exercising, there is a good websight, babyfit.com that gives you exercises you can do all  through the pregnancy.  They recommend you do cardio (could be just a walk even) 5 days a week for 15-30 min at a time.  I am also doing light weights 2-3 day a week to try to tone so that maybe my skin and muscles will bounce back quicker after.  Here's to hoping!Laughing

I just found out this last weekend that I am pregnant!  I am very excited.  our first born will be 6 on Saturday and we didn't think we would be able to have her and definatly weren't expecting or trying this time.  God is wonderful!!!!  so I need tips on working out.   I had been jog/walking and lifting weights for about 2 weeks prior to finding out.  Obviously I stopped jogging as my boddy is most definatly not used to it and I know you are not suppose to be outta breath when you work out.  I had Preeclampsia with my daughter and I don't want that this time.  I want to be able to just weigh the same (or less) at delivery that I weigh now.  I am 235#'s and want this to be a healthy pregnancy.  I had a not so great time last time and a bad birth experience.  I have a great attitude this time with positive hopes.  Any advice?

you may call me whatever you like!  I have heard it all and nothing bothers me, my uncle used to call me "stick"  when I was little.  maybe I should start chanting it in the mirror!

chicken breast (left over) sandwhich, apple and a fruit roll up.  I like to keep fruit rollups in the house because they are only 50cals and they satisfie a sweet tooth.Laughing

hi ladies. newbie  here.  I have a jar of candy with my name on it and I am trying not to take the first peice out.  I figure if I don't take out the first one, then I can't take out a second or third also.  we'll see how that goes.
