| Weight Loss | How much weight did you lose in your first month of healthy dieting? | Nov 26 2007 16:03 (UTC) |

I've lost 6 lbs my first month and exercised about 3 times a week. I haven't weighted myself since the holiday, so it might have went up :)
Everywhere I've read it says you want to maintain about 1-2 lbs a week to make sure you're dieting in a healthy way. My favorite thing about this time around is I know I'll be able to stick with it. I've done other diets where I've lost the 15 lbs in a month but I put it all back one because the diet was so restrictive that it couldn't be a life style change.
Great job with the 8 lbs! |

Sometimes it's better to have 1 of the real thing to get the craving out of the way. If you did it everyday then you might have a problem. In the long term 400 cals won't make you gain anything and it made you happy at the time at least. It was a treat for how well you've been doing so far :)

| Green Giant also has frozen broccoli and califlower in a really good cheese sauce. Plus it's mixed with veggies so you don't have to feel guilty. | |||
| Weight Loss | Burn Meter and Total Calories? | Oct 18 2007 01:50 (UTC) |

I think you want to eat only the amount of your goal calories. The burn meter is how many you aproximately burnt during the day. If your calories equal out you won't gain. If you eat more than you burn you'll gain and if you eat less than you burn you'll loose. That's how I understand it anyways. Hope that helps and good luck :) |
