How can you guys eat all that brocolli without the gas?!? My latest healthy post-workout (my hungriest time of day) meal is egg whites, mushrooms, a can of tuna in water, salt and pepper....pour it all in a pan and let it cook like a quiche. It's high in protein and about 300 calories that satisfy my hungriest moments. |

Hi! Exactly a year ago I started my journey...and was STUCK for the longest time. Working with a personal trainer helped me achieve everything that I wanted. She taught me how to eat, gave me great tips for every day stuff and most importantly kicked my ass 3 times a week. A few months ago I got lazy and gained a bit back but now that I'm training with her again I'm re-motivated. A trainer is not only good for the actual work-outs but also for support. Totally worth the money!! |

| The Lounge | Breast implants - Do they look good or not? | May 03 2008 15:38 (UTC) |

Ok...I've decided to respond and risk getting laughed off here... My boobs have recently deflated from a full D cup (that I loved) to a barely, saggy C cup (that I hate and feel uncomfortable with). Sure in a bathing suit or bra they still look good but I don't feel good about them. It's not the size, it's the shape and sagginess. So, I'm getting them done later on this year. I'm not doing it to fit society's standards of the perfect set of breasts, nor am I doing it to get more attention. I'm doing it to feel better about my body because that's what it's all about. What's the point in investing hours upon hours at the gym to get in shape for the first time in my life, if I don't feel good naked?!?!? I want to be able to enjoy every single aspect of my body, at all times, not just when I'm wearing a push-up bra. And...since I have so much excess skin to work with, and I'm extra curvy naturally, I'm sure they will look FABULOUS!!!!! SO here's the story of one former chubby that misses her boobs. |

Its crazy how quickly those little bites add up!! I was planning on having a nice mid-morning snack right about now but just remembered that I wasted those calories on a bite of a cookie (130 calories). Those bites usually aren't worth it!!! |

Thanks everyone!! I've been at it since October but between 12/21 and 2/16 I stopped counting calories and working out...So all together the 29 pounds have come off in 4 months total. My celebration will be new boobs (they're almost gone lol) and clothes...I'm planning on buying a brand new wardrobe, no more baggy jeans. |

Sun123...I know what u mean w/the nuts. I bought them to help me reach my calorie goal on my workout days (I love to eat but don't always have time) and to add good fats. Now...I can't stop!!! So I don't buy them anymore. FAV snacks...Kashi GO Lean Crunchy bars (usually morning snack) Fuji apples (the crunchiest) air popped pop corn Light and fit yogurt (peach) cottage cheese and grape tomatos baked butternut squash |

| Ohhhh this is fun!!!!
1. Neighbors...where do I begin?? I'm, not going to jump to conclusions on his occupation but lets just say he has people coming and going at all hours of the night. Randomly lifts weights at 4AM and enjoys dropping them loudly on the floor all while grunting and panting (keep in mind this is NOT including his loud sex)
2. Smell...I don't know what they're cooking but baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. The entire hall reeks!!
3. Heat and hot water included ...basically means, either you're freezing all night and over-heated/dehydrated during the day or the apartment smells funny from the old system. or both
4.NEVER clear the snow from the parking lot...or stairs...or driveway/walkway. and I always fall!!
5. "Beautiful" bathroom tiles, fake plastic peeling kitchen floors
Ok..now I have to go work |

| I know exactly what you're going through!! My fiance signed up to the gym a few months ago, convinced me to transfer my membership over to his and to sign a 3 year plan. 2 workouts later...he stopped and hasn't been since! What a waste of money. Now I'm stuck on his plan...paying $65 a month for the both of us. I don't need his support in workouts but I wish he would just stick with it!!! It's simply aggravating that he won't get up off his butt and move a little...won't do him any harm! | |||

THANK YOU!!! Water: I don't drink enough, I admit...and I'm working on it. I usually drink 16-24 oz while working out and maybe, maybe 16 oz more throughout the day. That's number 1 on my list to improve! Intake: I know I'm not mis-calculating because I measure and always round up, just in case. I will try (cautiously) to eat more and see what happens. The next 2 weeks are finals so I won't have much time for workouts so it's not a good idea to eat more for now. Veggies: I eat veggies w/every meal and an apple a day. Some days I add in a banana or strawberries. Even when I wasn't as healthy I consumed 6-8 servings of veggies a day so that's not an issue. Measurements: Next week will be 1 month since my last measurements at the gym....keeping my fingers crossed. Sodium: Under 2400 mg a day...every day. I even cut back on soy sauce w/sushi. and again THANK YOU!!! |
