| Health & Support | is there something wrong with me? | Oct 21 2007 23:28 (UTC) |

| Hmm it doesn't sound like anything's wrong with you to me. I'm an ex-dancer and most of the people at my studio shared similar stats with you. It's mainly from all the extra excercise, also weight loss can lead to appetite loss, but still you sound pretty normal to me. If you're worried see a doctor, see what they have to say. | |||

| Wow, sometimes when I'm under stress I lose weight too. If this keeps going then it's unhealthy but a few pound weight fluctuation is fine under certain circumstances. | |||
| Weight Loss | My Mother, and Cultural Attitudes Toward Weight Loss | Oct 21 2007 23:19 (UTC) |

| Hmm it could be that your mom is uncomfortable with her weight and therefore doesn't want you to lose, or it could really be a cultural thing. Like asian people are normally really thin (I'm asian, I'm 4'10" and about 85 lbs and my relatives are always pinching my cheeks and telling me how fat I am), and I've noticed that there are some big black people but then again there are a lot of big white people too. Your mom sounds kind of insecure, so if losing weight is what will make you happy, then you should go for it. Your family will eventually come to terms with your weight loss. | |||

| Hmm that's really really wierd. It'd be soo hard to gain 20 lbs in one week. If you know for a fact your scale is accurate I'd go see the doctor, because that is no where near normal | |||
