So, in a nutshell: you've allways been fat but pretty and you're scared that if you get thin you won't be fat or pretty. And people have always known you as the pretty fat girl, and if you loose the weight you won't have a tag, a label. To be honest, you should have a personality not a label,
But I'm loosing fat from your face is one of the hardestt places to lose fat from, as the bone structure makes up almost all your face, so your face will not look drastically different than when you were fat.

lilsmiter - I posted because I wanted reassurance that this is normal. Evidental no such luck. and what i described at the start is what everyone else sees. that's what matters. btw, I doubt I would ice my ankle unless i couldn't walk, but i'm known for playing through inguries. I've played with a cracked rib and 2 broken fingers before :D I'd never tell anyone about this, other than my consellor and i've already been down the therapy route, because that would mean that my parents would get involved and i hate them to interfere alizanti - I don't know what calculator you use, but 50kg is 110.2lb. I'm now 48kg YAY!YAY!YAY!YAY! but that's still 105lb. Not underweight as i'm 5'3/5'4 not 5'5. that puts me at a healthy weight. 18.5bmi This'll be my last post, as I'm sick of people trying to protect me by telling me little white lies. But that hurts even more. Even my friends don't get that. I can't stand it anymore, I can't stand people lying to me. This'll be my last post. I know yuo're trying to protect me - you don't even know me. I thought people here would be supportive but your not. you're lying like everyone else. |

Subwaybusker - It's true. I want to keep my body pure. I don't want fat or blood or excrement or tears or babies or sick or as you put it other nasty substances. I really wouldn't be afraid if I didn't have these functions. I'd prefer it no end. revolution3 - I really don't care if I'm healthy or not. I just want no fat at all. I do have a counselor and I've tried everything. I've had behavior therapy, face to face talks, I've had hypnotherapy. and none of it works. I thought this maybe would help, maybe it could let me see that it is normal to feel this way. |

| Okay - i'm 5'3 / 5'4 . I'm 48.1 kg and i'm 15years 2months. I do walk 1.5 miles day at a moderate/quick place. I do between 4-6 hours of sweaty exercise per week.(2hours badminton + 4hours softball)
I don't think I had a ED, but I was told last week that about a year ago I might have done. I have disordered eating and sythenisia. (to me days are colours and music is colours) I might have OCD as i have to have my clothes arranged in day and colour order. I have to wear black on mondays - blue on tuesdays ect. I know that might or might not be particually relevant, but that's all the info I think you may need. |

| hkellick - No need to worry, I don't have OCD or anything like that. At least i don't think i do. I do have sythensia (can't spell). in which days are colours, also music is movement and movement is colour. It's abnormal i know, but i deal with it. I just like things ordered and neat. although my bedroom is a tip.
I should eat more i know, but if i eat much more, or even the recommended amount for teens - i've read somewhere that teens should eat 2200 - then i gain weught like crazy. and it's not just from my metabolism slowing. I do some exercise, i walk to and from school each day, about 3/4 mile each way. I do 2 hours pe a week and 4 hours of softball, so even with all that i'm still burning less than i'm eating. i have no other way to exercise as i'm a long way from the gym and it's not safe to go out after school . |

| Ummm. I should but I don't eat breakfast... *cowers - please don't hurt me* I have fish oil pills and multi vitamins instead. I can't eat in the morning! I'm so glad found something for teens! Okay.. I'm 5'3 and 15, weigh 114lb and looking to get down to 100lb. exactly. *I have this obbession with 'perfect order' - my underwear is arranged in colour and day order! * i under eat.... I know it's bad. I eat about 700 -1000kcal a day. i hate the whole idea for curves. I don't like squishy, wobbly. urrgh. So I want a 'ironing board' build. | |||

No , archer531, i do not have a ED. I know that i dont eat great. i'm doing something about it. yes i want to lose weight, just to rid of a few 'wobbles'. I eat in the evening, because it's hard in the morning. Wow. Oh, that's not all i eat, but a full slice of rye bread, with toppings, contains about 500kcal, and i'll usually eat another 500 in the evening, I know that's not entirly enough but i'm working my way back up. Either the doctors computer is wrong, or every single of the 3 teen bmi calculators are wrong. at 56kg, i'm "8kg underweight" but on every teen bmi calculator that would put me in the 83rd percentile!.

Me too! i'm 15, 119 and wanna lose 9, short term. I'm also 5'3, so i'm in a heathly weight. but I know what you mean, just a few pounds can make such a difference. Sometimes it's easiest to wait untill the hunger passes, i mean everyday, without fail i am starving - from 2:45 to 3pm. No change. I just wait it out, otherwise i'll binge. I use a hunger scale, just imagine how hungry i am, from 1 -10 anything lower than a 8 i won't eat, and when I do, it's usually rye bread. It keeps me full forever! If i have it for breakfast i wont be hungry untill 2. Sometimes just drinking hot water - slowly - can help. As can sugarfree gum good luck! :D |

I changed my name, from Alexandra, to Alex, to Lexi. Partly because I hate Alexandra, partly because there was 4 boys called Alex in my class and I hated people looking on the registar and saying, oh look 5 boys by the same name ! None of it legally, I'm still 15 so i'm not sure if want to keep it for life :D But i just said, right, i don't want to be called Alex anymore. call me lexi. I'm pretty sure it doesn't cost to change your name in the uk, so you could do it over there, but that would prolly be more complicated than paying..
Mai a nice name though. if people contine to mispronouce it you could have it tatooed to you forehead saying 'my name is said may! not my, or Mia. MAY!' or have it on a tshirt ....

I know I should, but I JUST CAN'T!!! I'm buring muscle? But I don't even have any! I've never had muscle! And like I said before, I don't exercise regulary, only about once a month! I do softball once or twice a week, but it's hardly an active sport. most of the time i'm just throwing for 2 hours. Also, since friday morning, now sunday evening, I haven't eaten anything....It's really strange. I can't swallow at all. Not even water, but I found out if I lie down with a mouthful of water and tip my head right back it dribbles down my throat, but that takes forever. So i've been drinking about a glass a day cause it so damn hard! Can any one help me with that?

I am addicted to Clippers Sleepy Tea. It's so sophorific I don't finish the cup as i'm often asleep before! i love mint tea. but you have to do it the proper way, mint leaves and boiling water. Non of the processed rubbish. - bah humbug! And the UK definately has the best breakfast tea! |

Same problem, i can't eat much more than 800kcal, 900 tops. I just physically find it almost impossible. I tried drinking hot chocolate, unhealthy I know, to gradually increase kcals eaten so i didn't feel so fat. no offence ment to anybody else :D once i found it wasn't so bad eating 1400kcal I changed to healthier things.
