Thanks! I don't sleep all day because I have 2 small children so when their up I'm up usually get home around 2:30 am and up at 8:30-9:00 am. Heres what my scheduale looks like.

Eat Breakfast

workout

lunch

rest

snack

dinner

snacks at work (almonds, fruit and carrots) and during the day I drink 7 bottles of water. I've tried upping my calories a few wks. ago and it worked but now its not and I"m scared of gaining.  Maybe I should do weights 2x/wk and cardio and abs the rest?? All i have for weights are DVD's "Turbo Sculpt" and the "Biggest Loser Bootcamp"  maybe I will do the turbo sculpt today, but last week when I did the bootcamp one I gained weight becasue I must've worked my muscles too hard and they were retaining the water.  Thanks for your suggestions :) Keep them coming.

I'm almost positive because every other scale I've tried is around the same weight :S I'm 5'6 25lbs. really I have huge legs though and arms everything is very flabby especially my tummy now that I've lost weight and the muscle has built underneath the fat! it just hangs their and jiggles like "real" fat so to speak instead of fat that is attached to muscle.  I have a 6 pack undertheir somewhere i just wish it would show through :( You look AMAZING by the way! hwo did you lose so much weight and tone your abs, I can't even make it past 100 lbs. and here you are lost 100+ now! Congrats! I'm jealous.

Thanks! you made my day :)  I do infact weigh 224.5 thats what the scale says anyways, but I hasve a lot of muscle which I've heard doesn't actually affect your weight! so I guess I just carry it well? I don't know.Thanks anyways though :)

Thank you for your support!  I've been eating healthy and when I want a treat I'll have a little like I said before.  However not working out today has led me to belive that i should only be eting around 1900 calories (to be sure i don't eat over what I burn and gain even more weight :(!  )  Anyways I'm still so hungry I had a small piece of steak for dinner, with a tblsp. of potatoes and tons of veggies and I just had a couple of arrowroot cookies.  I'm drinking my water fine so I know its not from that! I'm so confused as to what I should be eating when I don't work out. For a 500 cal deficit on days i don't workout itso nly around 1600 cals. Maybe I'm just destined to be fat :( I don't know i feel like such a failure most days.  I gained 1.5lbs. since yesterday apparently even though its supposedly just "water weight" why is it there if I'm drinking all my water :(

Thank you Everyone for your replies! your all Awesome :)  I have been eating more I try to eat 2200 cals a day when I work out.  And I only burn 2880 cals on those days as well.  And when I don't workout I only burn about 2100 cals.  So I'm scared to eat over that on weekends (when I don't exercise) because I'm so scared of gaining now.  In the beginning (and still now) I never exercised on the weekends those were my days to relax and eat what I wanted (if I wanted a treat I'd have one) and I kept losing, but now I'm so paranoid and obsessed with food that I'm scared to eat it seems, especially on days I'm not exercising!  Like tonight for ex) hubby and I usually eat some fruit and popcorn before bed while we watch some t.v.  But I'm feeling like some icecream ,a blizzard maybe LOL I never used to eat out or have thingsl ike that but it seems lately I h ave been (not so much eating out but the icecream etc...)  This of course only happens on the weekend! and I feel so guilty about it.  I don't know what to do.  I'm sure it doesn't kill me I'm just so sick of being in the 200's I just want to get out of it, I think to mysef, everyone who knows me and knows I"ve lost 95lbs.  thinks I'm so "small"but to the normal ppl i pass everyday who don't know me, I'm sure are thinking "Wow taht girl is HUGE!" since being over 200lbs. is not considered "healthy" Oi why is life so frustrating, I just keep thinking the CC says its going to take another yr. to lose my "goal weight" amount, although when I started I never thoguht it would take 2 yrs. 1.5yrs. at most, and thats where i am at now :( .

Thanks I probably should've added a bit more info. but now that I'm thinking about it I don't know if its possible that were pregnant?  I went off B/C that Sat.(the last day we did it) and the next day I got my period. SO therefore could I even be pregnant? if my period came the next day after.  The only reason I thought I could be pregnant is because ya I got my period the day after, but then their was no more b/c to stop the process etc... I dont' know I"m so confused.  But I've been peeing a lot, my boobs have been sore and they have those little goosebump things on hte nipple that I've read can be a sign.  O well,  Iguess I will just hang in there.  But is it possible to be pregnant if you get your period the day after you had sex? does that count. (may be a stupid question but I'm curious.!)

Thanks Guys! :) I will leave it general its says I burned 703 cals for 65 min. so I'm happy with that!

 

Counselork: What is Zumba? I'm not much of a dancer (but I love to dance :S) And I had so much fun doing this today, I'm hoping I can get better and maybe show my hubby ;) LOL.

Hi There,

 

I just wanted to add to this post (sorry if its already been said,I didn't read all posts!)  I'm 22 yrs. old and I have 2 kids, 3.5 and 1.5 yrs old. I started working out when my daughter was 4 months old, and to this day I have lost 95lbs! I used to put her in her saucer and do my workout.  I bought some exercise DVD's and went at it.  I started with Turbo Jam and bought others as I went on. To this day I still work out at least 4 days/wk.  And my kids just know its routine, their older now so they play together, sometimes you have to stop to give them something or intervene.  I just want you to know that you can do this and it IS possible to lose weight, if its what you really wants kids or not! :)

Thanks Everyone! I think I will wait and test.  The other night while in the shower my left boob leaked a bit when I squeezed it this has never happened since I stopped breastfeeding 1 yr. ago.  And last night while hubby and I were "fooling around" he couldn't even get near my boobs they hurt and were too tender, especially my nipples (sorry TMI!).  I'm not sure whats going on. But in the slight chance I am pregnant is it ok to still workout I worry about my "fat" shaking on my belly as a risk of hurting the baby or detaching it from the uterus? :S probably a silly question, but better to know than not! thanks

jenningermany: LOL thanks! I do that to my husband too it makes me feel good to show him my muscle definition, haha he just shakes his head and says put them away LOL.  But its nice to show off especially to your hubby ;)

ok thanks! So If I have a defecit of around 500 everyday thats only 2500/wk? and thats why I'm not losing, but I thought your not supposed to have more than that.  I thought if I work out and by the end of the week I burn 3500 calories thats my "1lb" so to speak.  I"m so confused, I can never figure this out.  Thanks

Thanks everyone! I eat about 1800 calories/day give or take a few sometimes maybe 1900.  I'm scared to eat more than that in fear of gaining weight!  I should be eating around 2100 calories to lose without exercise) so obviously more than that when I do.  But I'm so confused, seems like so much food.  and i want to lose not gain!!!  This whole calorie thing confuses me profoundly!  Ugh. why must this be so hard. LOL! Usually during the day I eat cereal or oatmeal with raisins or banana for breakfast, eggs and toast or soup and bagel, or just soup or wrap for lunch and then whatever i Have for dinner.  Than I bring a snack for work ( I work nights)  and its usually fruit.  I eat tons of fruit during the day I haven't eaten any crap.  I drink about 5-6 bottles of water too.  Also In response to "tuffnuff" for the past 4 weeks I have been doing a new workout the circuit training I htought this would really boost it. but I guess I shouldn't be so scared of food and just eat more ? I 'm just scared too. I should aim for the 2100 cals at least, do you think this is appropriate or way too much.  I'm 22 female, 5\6 230lbs.  Also I have lost 90lbs now in response to "lev2". Thanks for all your help everyone, please give me suggestions about the calorie amount I should aim for and not be worried.

Thanks! I'm not sure how to calculate my deficit thats the problem.  I take my total burned (or just what I burned working out) minus the calories I've already eaten or what I should eat for the day? thanks

Thanks! I took the blood test last night and the dr. phoned this morning.  Missed the call so waiting for the phone call back . I'm sure it will say negative (like everything else) and I think I might be upset. I would love another baby, but maybe were not ready yet, but going through all this has made me wonder? I'm so young still but does it matter, I'm married have 2 kids already and I konw we wanted one more sometime.  I dont' know maybe I'm secretly hoping for a positive somewhere and thats why I keep thinking I am, and I'm going through the "psychosymatic"(spelling?) stage where I think I am so my body responds.  O well time will tell I guess. I will let you know what happens. Thanks again

I did change my activity level to sedentary, and have been logging my activities. However the calories didn't change much only by about 150??? I don't konw does this seem like a lot of food???

Ok I should have mentioned I already have that figured out I've been with CC for a while now but I got a bit off track and need to figure things out again.  The top of my burn meter says 2900 my activity level is set at moderate.  and the top of my food meter says 2150.  So I took the activity level of 2900+200+535 and subtracted 2110 (what I ate today) and its like 1500 deficit thats not right, I can't need to eat htat much food, I'm sooo confused what am I doing wrong.  Thanks for all your help!

Thanks!!!! You guys are great :) I love this site.  I will definately give the 2900/cal for one day a go and then start tomorrow fresh and shove as much healthy food in as I can (for 2150 cals that is ) I hope this helps my weight loss journey to the finish line.

I love Turbo Jam! I bought it last October when I first started my weight loss journey and have thus far lost 75lbs.  I have all the Turbo Jam tapes and I rotate doing cardio and the sculpting one.  I also have Hip Hop Abs which is pretty good, Shaun T is actually pretty funny LOL and he gets me throug the workout.  But not as intense as Turbo Jam. Good Luck I'm sure you'll love it. :)

Thanks! that helps a lot.  I plan on only taking one through out the course I use it ( 1 before each meal) your supposed to take 2 after 3 days but I just need  a little boost to try and get the rest of the weight off.  Did you find you prespired more while taking it?? After my workout this morning it seems I was sweating quite profoundly more so than usual? just curious :)

*alldolledup* -  You CAN also tell a difference, you silly girl.  Although I'm not one to talk, I know exactly how your feeling though, its going to take me a LONG time before I can get my head out of the image I wasbefore and open up to the way I look now :) By the way CONGRATS!! :)
