We should keep in touch.  the calorie meter said that i should be eating roughly 1300 calories a day in order to lose that amount of weight by April.  I just need the will power to motivation to do so.

Thanks everybody for your advice.  Wink  i am definately going to take advantage of of the track...what a great way to get some sun and exercise.  also, making friends with the cabin attendee is a great idea!

It always takes me a good three to four weeks before I see changes on the scale.  Having good patience with yourself is key.  I know it can be so easy to give up on yourself but stick in there kiddo.  It will come off if you keep doing what you are doing.Wink

I absolutely love liberte yogurt.  It is from Quebec and the milk comes from Vermont cows.  It also contains whole grains and does not have any added sugar nor the fake sucralose or asparteme stuff that may lead to cancer.  It is only 150 cal. and 3.5g of fat and YUMMY!  I eat it every moring with a fruit.  It may be hard to find though.  I live in NYC and can usually find it in natural food stores or Stop and Shop supermarkets in the natural food section.  Good luck!

I'm so glad you wrote this post.  I drank a whole bottle of red wine last night.  It was Amerian Idol night at my brother's apt.  The boys usually drink beer but I at least made a healthier choice of drinking organic wine.  But a whole bottle of which affroded me 500 calories!!!  I knew I was going to drink so I made the decision of choosing a "healthier" alternative before I began the night.  I was still under my 1500 cal goal.  But I certaintly didn't want to get up for work this morning.  I did and am at work and hust had some yogurt and a banana and am feeling good.  I used to get greasy but oh so yummy bacan, egg and cheeses in the a.m. after a night of drinking but no longer do that.  So at least I feel good about some decisions I make.  Good luck to all you boozers out there.  I'm irish what can I say?Tongue out

I definatley in!!!  I am 5'7" as well but somehow weigh a lot more than many of you.  I am certaintly a healthy weight for my body type.  I am curently at 148 and would like to get down to 138.  What do we do?

you should feel great about yourself!!!  Good for you for losing 30 pounds.  I am 5'7 and 148 lbs.  I have a hard time losing weight too.  The best way for us helathy gals to shed a couple more pounds is to hit the gym.  I get red in the face also just after 5 minutes of exercise and I could care less what others think at the gym!!!  Everytime I look in the mirror after a good work out, i'm red and sweaty as heck but feel great about it because i know i just burned a ton of fat!!! If im not sweating like a pig and red in the face, i feel like i did nothing.  Keep on doin what you are doin.  Sounds like youre focused and determined.  Love yourself and all your accomplishments!!!Wink

I have been good for two weeks and have not yet seen any changes on the scale.  I have been working out though three to four days a week.  I hope to start dropping soon because it so fustrating not seeing any changes!  I would like to know why i am not losing!Frown

I love Amy's products!!!  I could almost live on them alone.  I haven't  had the tofu rancheros yet.  Any other recommendations?

you eat all that and you are overweight?  This is extremely unhealthy for normal life processes to be carried out.  Not only that but you are basically only eating processed foods.  Processed foods are bad for you.  If you want to eat a low calorie diet you should at least try to incorporate whole foods such as fruits, vegetables and nuts into your diet.  They are low in calorie and provise essential nutrients your body needs.

wow!  i'm exhausted just thinking abou that!  perhaps focus on weight lifting as well to build muscle mass.  this will burn more fat at rest!
