Thanks lisa, stardust and jacksnacks......... I think i'm going to be fine. I found out they are eating late and it's already 8:30 here and I don't want to eat that late. I will just go over and spend time with them instead. Now I can find something to eat here that's healthier :)...whew In the future though taco salad or 2 tacos with very little cheese.......making mental notes. Thanks! |

Thanks Skye and alyssandra........ I think the lettuce thing with lots of veggies is a good idea. I might even take over a piece of fruit too or eat the fruit later.

LMAO.......... wow what an experience. Death by sports bra's lol I have had simuliar adventures and really do believe it burns off some calories especially when one gets stuck in situations like that. Nice workout! LOL |

Thanks Aisha...hmmm peppermint tea would have been really good too. Thanks for the tip. pizza lover......ya the rice was a great idea even with broth but I ate it with veggies and cottage cheese.........next time I should do without the cottage cheese that was a little much although it was really tasty. I think rice seems to be a best bet or like you said yogurt. '

No it doesn't matter with me if I eat a big breakfast or small snacks throughout the day the evening is always the same..........hungry so I'd rather save up the bulk of my calories for the evening. No no butter on the rice......just plain rice........could have used brown and would have been more nutritious however it didn't seem like my stomach would like that too much. What I ate did the trick. thanks for all the good tips. I definately feel better today! |

I had 1 C cooked long grain white rice, 1/2 C cottage cheese (regular) and 1/2 C mixed veggies. Was around 500 calories and really good. I could only eat half as it made a huge bowl but I never knew cottage cheese melted that well. I've had lasagne before with cottage cheese in it and it didn't melt that well......this was nice and cheesy. Mmmmmmmmmmmm and easy on the tummy. Ya I took some tums also. |

Hi Kan........thanks for your post. I know it's silly about why do I care but I have this weird thing that I think I may get really hungry later and don't want to spend so many calories on crackers. I am a night eater.........not in the middle of the night but I like the bulk of my calories in the evening (I know that's not good either but it is what works best for me). Peanut butter and crackers does sound good |

I don't like just frozen banana's BUT since you mentioned that I just thought I wonder how banana's and pumpkin mixed together then frozen would taste hmmm I might have to try that. Maybe top it with some slivered almonds. |

| That's what I ended up having last night a baked potato with 1 oz of light cream cheese and 1C steamed cauliflower mixed in it and some tabasco on top and some Soy milk. That all came to around 450 cals and was good and got my protein in without alot of fat. :) | |||

Molly i'm using the target you gave me so I know that the 9.1 % protein was not enough. I have trouble getting in protien for some reason but now with these suggestions I think I will be okay. I'm going to buy more soy milk and cottage cheese and things like that. I have tons of canned beans and regular uncooked beans in a bag I can make. Thanks |

Some stores carry smaller sizes in brands. Is this where you got your last pair? If not I would suggest going to a different store and trying on clothes. It could be just the brands they carry run smaller. Don't be so hard on yourself. At least you have been counting calories and working towards a healthier lifestyle.

| sounds like lots of protein but i'm worried about the fat in the cheese. Also I can't eat meat and cheese together unless it's Taco's or enchilada's. Mostly when ordering enchilada's in the past I would just get cheese though. Thanks anyways. | |||
